Local law enforcement called their next available to remove the vehicle from where it was teetering and then charged $150 for winch and recovery, $50 Admin Fee, $195 for towing and then an additional $125 for not taking it to the dealership the first time. After all that a $50 special equipment fee was tacked on with a $10 environmental fee. Using a credit card for such an astounding tow fee resulted in a $17 fee for not using cash. This is strong armed robbery and I will tell everyone I can about this criminal activity. I paid the bill... no choice in the matter.

At first I was concerned about the process at Car Craft. They wanted to have me drop my car off with just the insurance companies estimate. They told me they would start then, order the parts and fix it. I didn't plan on getting a rental but couldn't be without my car for very long. After looking at it they estimated they would have my car back to me in 10 days. So basically 8 business days. (To be honest i wasn't happy but what could i do?) They actually texted me the entire time with updates. On the following Monday (so 4business days in) that my car was over halfway finished but they still estimated a pickup date of Friday. Then on Tuesday i got a message that the car was almost completely finished and that i could possibly pick it up on Wed. When Tuesday rolled around they called about 2:30 to say it was ready! I was ecstatic!!! (It was only 5 business days!) Unfortunately for me i was stuck at way later than they were open so i went to grab it the next morning. Now i keep my car pretty clean but when they pulled it around to the front door for me(such a nice touch) It looked so fabulous! The bumper was back to looking brand new! I took it home and looked at it very closely in the sunlight. Now I know(my Was-bend is a car painter by trade) that metallic paint is extremely hard to match and expensive to paint because you have to paint it in 3 stages. And when you are trying to blend the metallic it is very difficult to make it look right. Anyway you can NOT tell that anything has been repaired or replaced. And I'm pretty sure they detailed the interior AND the exterior of the car! There were a few minor scuffs that have disappeared , as well! I've never had that experience before at an autobody place! I'm a chick and they never made me feel uncomfortable or dumb and that's not been common for me. Also everyone was SO nice! You can tell they all love working there! They all were full of smiles! Wow what an amazing experience! Also my insurance adjuster said that they are considered a preferred provider for them and that they have been working together for years and they guarantee their work for the entire time you own the vehicle! And all i did was make the appointment and drop it off. I didn't have to contact my insurance or bring them a check. Everything was handled. I just paid my deductible when i picked up my ride. This time they fixed the body but as soon as I got into the car I noticed the warning lights were still on and a portion of the safety features were offline. I immediately returned to the shop and asked the service tech about it. She said they don't do the electronics part and I'd need to go back to the Mazda dealership to have them do it. Over the next 4 months my car was in the Mazda shop on and off for over 30 days with no results. They didn't know how to fix it so my insurance agent sent me back to Car Craft to get the safety features back online. My car wasn't there but an hour and magically it was repaired and back to normal. I was without my car for weeks and driving without safety features and they somehow fixed it when they originally said they couldn't. The final insult was that they didn't attach the bumper panels properly so they still pop out. I am very disappointed since they had previously been stellar. The tech either didn't know the process to fix the issue or just wanted me to go away. And the bumper popping out is just sloppy work. Really a shame.

I have taken my 1999 Honda Accord EX V6 to Perfect Finish for several years. Not once was I unhappy. If there were a problem, Steve would quickly address the issue, and a resolution was provided. I was sadden when I discovered that the shop was sold. It was nice to have a place to take my car in for mechanical issues. My A/C began to show signs of wear. I purchased all my OEM parts myself. Dan performed the removal and installation of a new compressor, Condenser, Upper and Lower section hoses, and dryer. The only issue that I encountered is that the upper radiator hose clamp was not tight enough, and leaked all over my engine. A simple mistake that was quickly rectified. I find it very difficult in finding a reputable, reliable auto repair center in my area. Prior, I used to take my car to the Honda Dealerships in O'Fallon, and ST. Louis. After proven problems with the dealership in O'Fallon, I will never take my car there again. As far as ST. Louis, they made a mistake that they thought I would not noticed. Guess what, I did. However, they made good on their promise to fix the issues. It's really sad when I see Auto Repair shops in our area that resemble junk yards.
