I recently left Ginger here for over two weeks while I went on vacation and I knew she was in excellent hands. Jon is very responsive and communicative, and he shared videos of Ginger living her best life and playing with other dogs. She looked like she was having more fun than she does when I'm around! Leila helped me through the whole process of signing up and booking and I was able to schedule a meet-n-greet and book a stay that same morning! Truly such a kind, responsive, and accommodating process. It was my first time ever sending my dog Mochi to a sitter and I was super anxious since he's already 10years old! The meet went even better than expected. The dog area was HUGE and there were so many toys and activity spots for the dogs to play or shaded areas to just rest. Shantae asked about my dog and explained the personalities of the other dogs that would be staying with him and I felt so reassured that Mochi would be just fine. A total bonus that I wasn't expecting was getting picture updates of Mochi having a blast! Seems like the old man got to have a little vacation on his own. Shantae informed me that he whined for a couple minutes after I left, which is normal, and how he got along with the smaller dogs and got to play with the water hose! Such fun surprises to me since he normally ignores little Dogs and water in general! I cannot recommend trusting your fur pets with Leila and her team more!! After having a…read morebad experience with a self-employed sitter, spotty availability with another self-employed sitter, and then deciding not to travel altogether, Leila and her amazing team at Precious Pet Care showed me that their high standard of care meant I could be at ease and take vacations again! I was referred to Precious Pet Care by a dog trainer I know. I was interested in their Golden Overnight Care services, a 24-hour service where the sitter is with my babies all day! In particular, my dogs are extremely attached as they are used to coming to work with me and generally being around me 24/7, so this type of sitter service was a must! I was given a link to request a meet & greet and schedule the days a sitter was needed in my home and met with my assigned sitter, Kate, prior to my requested days. Ever the worrier about my dogs, cats, birds, and guinea pigs that I would be apart from, Kate handled my bombarding her with information in good stride. During my vacation, I was pleased to see that she sent numerous photos, videos, and updates daily! Kate made me feel completely at ease while I was away and was such a great communicator. Upon my return, all my critters were happy, and the house was neat and clean! Kate made sure to take the trash out and clean up after herself as well. Truly a 5-star experience! They were super accommodating, communicative, and they took the best care of our two dogs (who can be needy and a little high maintenance). One dog is a blind senior and the other one is a little anxious due to being a rescue. Each sitter took the time to make sure our pups were comfortable with them and followed the directions we laid out. They sent updates and pictures after every visit, which significantly calmed the helicopter pet parent in me. Special shoutout to Kennedy who became best buds with my usually shy, slow-to-warm-up dog! This was an amazing option to have instead of putting our dogs in boarding (which we all would have been unhappy with). They are great at providing mix-and-match options to keep cost in mind. Chose all day play for both. Arrived and in going over booking was told that only 1 dog had all day play. No. Had that changed (I thought). Started using wag cam next morning. Both dogs looked miserable in all day play. Laying down away from other dogs. That was expected. They really aren't interested in playing with other dogs. Would have been nice if caretaker had taken notice. Next day I check all day play and only see 1 dog. Check "suite" cam and there is the other dog. Call Wag. Oh, you only booked all day play for 1 dog. No. I corrected that on check in. Half hour later check wag cam and both dogs are in all day play. Throughout the stay staff kept referring to each dog as "HE". They are not male. They are female as was clearly noted on their paperwork. Is that why no one cared that other dogs were trying to mount my dogs (per web cam). I think they could have and should have done better. This was not the exceptional care I was expecting. Hendrix my first pup loves going to Coastal Paws, he jumps out of my car and runs straight to door everytime even after all these years. Then when I got my second pup he does the exact same thing. Their pure enjoyment and excitement for doggy day care brings me so much joy. They are will taken care of and I receive feedback on their behavior and the owner does behavior training with them. She also sends daycare update photos with them playing, celebrates their birthdays and take holiday photos. I highly recommend Coastal Paws to all my friends and family.
