A lovely addition to the neighborhood. I mainly frequent of this place for the tea, so I'll talk about that. At first the list of tea options was overwhelming, so I stuck to the classic English Breakfast tea for the first few times. However, after I met the barrista Tracy, I allowed her to help me pick some other teas to try, and since then I've been on a tea adventure. This is a great little cafe in Providence - it may be easy to pass by on your way to nearby, better known brunch spots, but don't overlook it! The decor is simple, with small tables and plenty of seating. The menu has more crepes than you can imagine, and they are delicious - both savory and sweet options. They are substantial in size, but light and fluffy. I came with a friend for brunch - we split the ranchero crepe (black beans, chorizo and egg) and the shawarma naan panini (and wow, that naan!). We topped off the meal with the smoked ham and maple sweet crepe, and enjoyed every bite! They have an almost overwhelming amount of tea options, with helpful descriptions and teas organized according to type. The waitress was quite helpful regarding our tea selection. Our chai teas came with a truly incredible honey dispensing contraption (like a syrup dispenser, but the honey comes out the bottom, and the entire thing sits in warm water so the honey is soft and easy to dispense) - the waitress directed us to a corner of Schastea with a selection of tea accessories. Unfortunately they didn't have any honey dispensers left in stock that day, but we'll be back for them -- and another delicious brunch! read more

Wow, loved this place much more than the duck and bunny. First off, they have gluten free crepes. I got the ham and cheese crepe and it was amazing! I had a peach lavender tea and a mango ginger and they were both good, my favorite was the peach lavender. I loved the little individual tables, dim lights and cute elephants hanging from the curtains. Everyone talked about how delicious their pasta was. Many, many drinks to choose from. Great place to start a fresh morning. They have big varieties of amazing taste of teas from caffeine free to high caffeine tea and different tastes that are rare and lovely to try. One of the things that struck me most about my experience was the service, we had the most delightful waitress. I'm not extremely familiar with tea varieties and they have a wide selection, the waitress very helpfully guided me away from ordering a tea with a very potent oder and guided me to one that ended up being super tasty and much better for a tea newbie which I very much appreciated. We were visiting Providence and found this place by accident. It has a very inviting and relaxing atmosphere. We were greeted by pleasant staff and presented a menu with almost too many delicious looking choices. The lemon/sugar crepe was the best I have ever had anywhere. It had the best texture and the perfect amount of lemon and sugar. The French press coffee was bold and smooth. We also split a savory naan breakfast sandwich. I was very excited to come here having heard great things about the variety of tea options and crepes. However, I left highly disappointed. Now, I'll preface this by saying that I arrived 30 my minutes prior to their closing time. That said, having been a server for 10 years, I know for a fact that a paying customer (even one who arrives 2 minutes before closing time, is still a paying customer and can post a review such as this at any time). Points of disappointment: 1. We had to get our own menus and literally had no clue if this was a place where the order is placed at the counter or if a server takes it. 2. The piece of coffee cake I order for my son was stale- at least 5 days old. 3. I had to ask for a cup of water for my son 3 times before finally receiving it. 4. I saw our plates of food being ready and sitting on the hot counter for at least 8 minutes before someone finally stopped doing their side work to bring them over. 5. The spinach in the pepperoni and spinach crepe was literally a hand full of raw spinach without seasoning...it wasn't event remotely wilted. 6. We didn't get our teas until the food was brought to the table...maybe this is the custom here? Idk Everyone in there had already eaten and was just hanging out. I really just don't understand how hard it could have been to just give good customer service?! Yes, the workers wanted to get home, but I think 30 minutes before closing is adequate time to make a tea and a thin crepe...it's not like I order a whole baked chicken. read more

Delicious crepes and tea in a lovely cafe setting. There is outdoor seating on the sidewalk, bar seating and table seating, and a cozy little alcove in the back with comfy cushions. They have an extensive selection of teas to suit any mood or craving. I'm a big fan of their lapsang souchong tea latte made with soy milk. Most crepes can be made gluten free and there several sweet crepes that can be made vegan. Peanut butter and jam, peanut butter banana, and blueberry lime are all very tasty. We could not finish it all - but we did anyway. :-) One crepe can feed two people. We also got the Tali chai and the green pomegranate teas (and some to take home). Smoothest teas we've ever had! This place only gets 3 stars only because the Tea is really good. The service here is lame, sat there for 50 minutes waiting for crapes (not that serious as I was enjoying the tea) but on top of that the waitress never came to the table to check up on us, clear off the table a bit, see if we need anything, I had to wait until she was serving the table next to us to get her attention because every other attempt seemed like she ignored it. And after all that, the icing on the cake was the extra charge for strawberries on a crape that has just Nutella and strawberries, like why must you be greedy? Why is there an extra charge on something that has the option to be switched out?! Please, manage your tables better, clean them off when people leave, and make sure your customers are all set while theyre in your establishment. read more

What a pleasant surprise. Outstanding and very friendly service. Food for all 7 people was outstanding. My crepe had a arugula salad on top it was very yummy. Great coffee and a friend had a chai tea which was offered with regular, soy or almond milk. Seating is great and the place was full to the brink on a Sunday afternoon. Came here today 02/23/20 to celebrate my birthday with brunch. Service was extremely slow, with no apology. There were several people on staff and it was not busy. We literally saw three people just standing around at the counters while people looked for their food or for someone to take their order. It took us over an hour to get three crepes and they all came at varying times. My crepe was barely cooked, the cheese on it was not even melted and it was lukewarm. My friend found a hair in her food, but said otherwise it was pretty good. We also got a white bean and veggie plate, the celery was old and the carrots were dirty. We paid, walked out of there and after thinking about it decided to go in and ask for a refund. They gave it to us immediately, and the waiter was pretty nice so I'm going to give two stars for that. read more
