Upon walking in the guy at the cash register seemed spaced out not really seeing what was coming in... he spoke to quiet and didn't seem to sure of himself... made me question if I actually wanted to stay and eat.. While I was waiting for my food I was watching him. He was walking slow dragging feet as if he didn't want to even be there... I ate my food and left.. The manager here is absolutely awesome. Everything going on with the corona virus is causing issues but the manager is dealing with it so good. She made sure my friends and I were all good every few minutes and has kept a smile on my face! Definitely glad to give her my business. read more

Apparently the manager here decided that they won't serve side salads anymore despite that they have all the ingredients and capabilities to make it. I used to order a pizza and a side salad but now I get stuck with the pick 2 which is overpriced for what you're getting. I won't be back. read more

I am not sure why others have an issue with Schlotzyky's. I have yet to experience bad service and our sandwiches are always yummy. My son is sold on the sandwiches because of the bread. I really like other sandwich places too but this one is always on the top of my list. I always get the original and today my son tried the Windy City (Pastrami on rye) - fantastic! read more

Giving a 3 because the food is consistently good. Kind of wanted to rate it lower though - just because if you get it in the drive through, expect for some things in your order to be left behind. Then when you are already home and call to complain their way to "make it right" is to offer, next time you come in you can have those items for free. This Schlotzky's is consistently good. I think it's a little speedy for what you get, but will do in a pinch.

Their food is amazing. Whether it is a sandwhich, pizza, or now the newly added pastas; they taste amazing. My all time favorite thing is their turkey original sandwhich. It is the best sandwhich in my opinion. The price is a bit higher than most fast food but the quality increases with the price and it always tastes fresh when I go. It is so so good! read more

I love the fiesta chicken sandwich. It combines all the flavors all of their nose. Anytime I go to Schlotzsky's that's what I order.

One thing I'm starting to notice about Austin, or surrounding areas is that people In food service are not the most friendly and maybe they've just dealt with too many complaining out of towners... But I like to consider myself a friendly and smiling patron and it frustrates me that food service people just assume the patrons know everything walking in and that they can't use common sense to help assist? Or maybe this is a big joke played on newcomers? See we have schlotzkys in Cali, but the last time I went was years ago. So when I saw it here in Cedar Park, I was super excited. My husband and I came here with my son. We ordered our sandwiches and the girl at the counter asked what size. I said... (Assuming small, medium, and large was for one person) that I would like a large. My husband also ordered a large and then she asked if I wanted chips as if my sandwich is normal sized and I would need a side with it... So I got a side of pasta salad instead. Then my son got a kids meal. The cashier Asked if we were eating in or taking it to go. We said eating in. Now I'm no genius but these sandwiches arrived with two plates each. They were both about 10 inches across and 3 inches high! There was no way we could eat more than half. Why would the cashier not mention the size? Especially since we ordered the same sandwich and after both eating half we had an entire one left? Food was good still and I stole some hot sauce to make up for my own embarrassment. I'm gonna need it on the rest of this enormous sandwich and pasta! I mentioned this to my friend back home and she even confirmed there's no sandwich this large at the schlotzkys back home. My daughter and I decided to treat ourselves to a Sandwich at the 2700 E Palm valley(Round Rock) location. Her sandwich was prepared very well. Mine on the other hand was terrible. I ordered a medium fresh veggie and the top part of the bread was so hard and crunchy. I returned back to this establishment and they were nice enough to refund my money and make me a new one. I was even given a complementary Cinnabon while I waited. That must have been a ploy because when I opened the wrapper to look at the new sandwich, it was as crunchy as the last one!!! Im done with this location. There is no excuse for this to be happening. These sandwiches are not cheap and it is unacceptable to serve such poor quality food. Went there again 3/25/19 today to give it a chance after my last horrible experience a year ago with the food quality and no one running the registers. Today trip, They have had a massive price increase. Small origional (cheapest sandwhich they have) was $6.99 and wost of all the price gouge on a med fountian drink was $2.69 (probably cost them a nickle) making my total for just a sandwhich and drink + tax almost $11, Thats with no chips. read more

I hadn't been to a schlotsky's in years. I got a veggie sandwich on jalapeno bread. The veggies were fresh but the bread really had no jalapeno flavor, it was just hot. The sauce on my sandwich was pretty unremarkable as well, just mayo I think. All in all it was a bland meal but it was fast and the register guy was super friendly. read more

I normally would not write a review on Schlotzsky's. it appears they have hired Yelp to post reminders for Yelp reviewers to write a review. I do not eat at Schlotzsky's simply because the bread is chewy like a sponge. Simply nasty to my taste buds. I have tried their food several times due to my company orders from there for our lunches. Ordered the French Dip sandwich to go and was shocked when I opened it up at home. It's priced as a premium sandwich but was not much larger that the size of my kids cookie. The manager assured me the sandwich size had not changed but I have had it before at another store. The manager was more interested in debating with me than replacing it. Been to many Schlotzsky's and the food is always good and the people are usually nice. This was our first visit the Cedar Park location and it couldn't have been better. As usual, the sandwiches were great but the ladies working the front were extraordinary. Shaneka (I'm probably misspelling that. I read the reviews here and have come to the conclusion locals have never experienced good customer service, nor good food, so they think this location is the bomb. I hate this place. The last two times I've been here, the floors in the dining area are always full of food and it's rare to find a clean booth, or table and the booths smell like B.O. The drink lid area looks like it's not been wiped down in months, if not years, because it has looked trashed and sticky for two years now. There's always girls taking orders at the register who must all have personal issues, because they are not friendly at all. It's not the customer who needs to say "thank you" at the end of the transaction. Also, the evening manager is a joke, as evident by the filthiness of the place. read more

I have never been so irritated with a drive through before started out with a guy over the intercom then all of a sudden this girl interrupts him abruptly and starts talking over him to take my order which was fine i got up to thw window and i had a coupon through the app for 7$ off i handed it to her complaining about how I needed to press the button before she continues to look at it. Ok could have said that nicer. Best part my total os 74 cents and I give her my card she swipes it multiple times very loudly saying I needed another payment because it was being denied which didnt make sense. Better part is she comes back to the window saying oh its us we dont take cards fpr totals less then 1 dollar. All of her huff and puff was pointless. If you can people avoid the window girl veronica. Shes extremly rude and should NOT be working that close with people. read more

My family and I use to enjoy Schlotzskys, now there food quality is sub par. The portions vs cost is ridiculous. My son dislikes the new kids pizza. Firehouse Subs is far better. The only good things is the pecan cinnamon rolls. read more

Terrible customer service - good food. Ive never left a review before but am hoping that someone in management might be monitoring these. I really like schlotzsky's, but will stop coming to this location if they don't at least pretend to be friendly. (I've been coming to this location for well over 15 years.) The last 2 times I have ordered at the drive thru, both times the order was missing something. The first I was missing a flatbread pizza. I caught it before driving away, got the girl's attention by waving my hand so she could see me as she had already walked away. She opened the window and said "yes?" (with an irritated look on her face) My reply was "Hi, it appears I'm missing the flatbread pizza". Her reply was to reach behind her, grab the pizza, hand it through the window to me and immediately close the window. No sorry about that, have a nice day... nothing. Today I ordered at the drive thru and the girl sounded very put upon while taking my order. Not at all pleased to have to change my order from a small drink to a medium. Then when I received my order I didn't catch the fact I wasn't given my drink until I had already pulled away from the window. So I parked and went in. The girl at the counter said can I help you. I smiled and said "hi, I just went through the drive thru and didn't get my sweet tea". I wasn't upset. These things happen. She walked over to the drive thru area asked the girl there for the drink (which was sitting there already made). She then walked back handed it to me and said "there are straws over there", pointed across the restaurant, turned around and walked off. Again, it wasn't a big deal. She wasn't rude persay but if a customer has to park and walk in to retrieve something that was forgotten at the drive thru line I would think a simple "sorry about that" would have been nice. Or again... maybe a "have a nice day." This Restaurant is expensive for fast food. I spend between 45-60 each time I go through. Friendly service would be nice. read more
