Fiesta Chicken sandwich on GLUTEN FREE bun!!!
    Kristy L.

First of all I have to say this is the nicest Schlotzsky's I have ever been in! There is a ton of seating and lots of room in between tables! I've been a HUGE fan of Schlotzsky's since I was a kid! Ans now that I know they serve Gluten Free buns, I can eat it again! I usually go for the original but the sweet lady at the cash register mentioned that her favorite sandwich is the fiesta chicken and I should try it, so I did! And it was delicious!!

I ordered through UberEats last week so I cannot comment on the parking, cleanliness or staff as this is one of the few locations I haven't actually entered. I asked for certain veggies to be left off so I could let it sit at work until my conference call and enjoy it without a soggy tomato or anything. I was a bit irritated to find some of the toppings were still on it, but at least there was no soggy tomato. There was a strange amount of onions hidden under the lettuce- not throughout the sandwich, just concentrated in the middle. Weird sandwich making. That being said the chicken bacon smokecheesy wasn't bad and the portion of a medium is enough for 2 meals, especially if you get chips. I'll always give them credit for having good ingredients- the chicken is tasty, the bacon is good quality, the lettuce is never wilted, the lovely sourdough bread is never stale. So even when made wrong, I can always salvage the meal because all the pieces are good on their own. For years Schlotzsky's used to be one of my favorite sandwich shops but I'm just not that impressed with them anymore. They keep hiking up prices, when they add things to the menu the portions are pretty small for the amount you pay (looking at you tiny $6+ sliders) and they don't offer combos anymore. This is at least the 3rd location in as many months that doesn't follow order instructions and frankly I haven't had an order made correctly the first time from any location in over a year, which tells me it's the culture and how employees are treated/trained throughout the company. With all the competition for sandwiches, which are also delicious and much cheaper, I'm just left underwhelmed by the chain and miss the days of correct orders and combo prices. That being said, if you have no substitutions and stick to their original sandwiches on the menu, it's a solid lunch option and good ingredients are still important.

We go to this schlotsky's a lot and they are usually really good, but the to go orders can be hit or miss. I ordered a flatbread today and it was not good. The toppings were just thrown in the box and it was cold. Very disappointed.

Colton the manager was really rude. Order was extremely wrong and pretty much said it was my fault. Didn't even offer to fix it

My cinnamon roll was cold & hard. It was drowned in the frosting. Lady was super sweet though.

Several years ago, I had my first muffuletta at a sandwich shop in Florida and I thought it was OK, but nothing special. I did not order one from Weinbergers the first several visits because of this and all the other choices we had. My wife and I finally decided to order one to split. The first bite that we took we just looked at each other wide eyed in amazement and said OMG. The reason I decided to write this review is because my wife just texted me and said she is craving a muffuletta. We will probably head there this weekend. We love this place!

Make sure you're prepared when you walk up to the counter-- I thought I was until the dude started rattling off "wet" or "dry" and the list of toppings. I threw up my hands and said "I'm an amateur, this is my first time here!" He slowed it down and walked me through ordering, lol. I went with the Italian beef, dry with the juice on the side. So yummy! I love that it came with a handful of crinkle chips as well. If I was local I'd eat here all the time! The inside is small with a handful of tables and a few extra outside. It was pretty packed on a Friday afternoon!

We were very warmly greeted by a gentleman who I think must be an owner or major stakeholder. He gave us a quick history of the place and was fast to recommend the prime rib po boy sandwich. We ordered one to split, and it came with seasoned fries. The sandwich came out quickly, and the meat was tender with just the right amount of slightly spicy horseradish sauce. Yum. I definitely want to come back for the signature prime rib on a Friday or Saturday. That meatloaf sounds tempting too, and the brisket mac and cheese caught my eye. Looks like I will need to come back a few times.

We were starving so stayed and had catfish plate and smoked turkey sandwich. This is the first time we were not super satisfied with our meals. Maybe it was because we were looking forward to brisket tacos & chicken & waffles. We had great service from Nathan! We grabbed some meat to bring home. Love making griddle burgers with the flurry grind.

Great service, funky little joint, beloved by the neighborhood…read more Prices in person are really high. You only get the online prices if you order before noon the day before. A dozen bagels and a rub of cream cheese will set you back $31. Ordering the day before it'll be $24 Einstein's is $19.75 for 13 bagels and 2 tubs of cream cheese and I didn't taste much of a difference. The lox and fresh veggie options are good but they don't have breakfast sandwiches here. James Beard Award and DDD visits are great but not sure that justifies a $5 price tag for a bagel & schmear and jumping through hoops to order so they know what kind of bagels to make and how many staff they need

Reposting my review that I also just made on Google…read more I'll be honest, I was shocked to see as many 1--3 star reviews for this place. I get it - it's a little pricy outside of waiting for the $1 bagels between 12pm-1pm - but holy schikies the quality is amazing. The bagels themselves - all 10/10. The schmears are insanely good - the basil schmear literally blew my mind. I didn't know a schmear could taste that refreshing. The cucumber sandwich - incredible - never would have thought bagel, with cream cheese and cucumber could be THAT good. Sure - it's a bit pricy pre-12pm (but what placing selling real food with real ingredients isn't these days!) spent $40 on a sandwich, bagel with butter and bagel with the fermented jalapeno schmear - but sorry not sorry - still worth it. All these cry babies in these lower reviews complaining about how the bagel they wanted was no available - it's because they are that good. Sorry - you snooze you lose. Get up earlier, preorder if you want it that bad. To the owners of Starship Bagel - hope you guys never sell out (well keep selling our of product so you stay in business yes) but you know not sell out to big mega food corps, and keep doing what you're doing. People need more food establishments making food out of actual real ingredients - not the slop bucket artificial BS that 99% of any other chain bagel shop is going to use. Just look up what Einstein puts in their highly processed schmere's, it's trash and it tastes like it too. Zero chance if they put out a basil schmere that it wouldn't be chock full of artificial junk - just look up the their strawberry schmere on Instacart - ingredients include: Maltodextrin (filler, usually corn based), Modified Food Starch (likely where the bioengineered junk is coming from as noted under the ingredients), Natural Flavor (God only knows where the hell that came from), Guar Gum (a soluble fiber derived from the ground endosperm of guar beans - not something I want in my schmere), Color (almost get a pass except they state they use Caramel which is usually an artificial / petrol base colorant that is not good for you), Carob Bean Gum (plant-based thickening agent and stabilizer - still don't want it), Xantham Gum (produced by fermenting sugar with the bacteria Xanthomonas campestris), and then lastly Natamycin (natural antifungal preservative produced by bacteria -Streptomyces natalensis - something you really want to eat much of?). I'm tired of fake food, that tastes like cardboard. That lacks any nutritional value. We should celebrate when new companies come out like this - and not only that - but they offer their bagels at $1 if they have any left over after 12pm. These people deserve a block party in their honor for producing such high quality products - that yes - those unwilling to wait till 12pm whose selections might be more limited - will have to pay a bit more. People who recognize quality and hard working people will continue to come here. Last note, if you're trying to avoid seed oils, soybean lecithin / soybean oil - this is also a great place for you - and its one of the few places my wife can actually eat at since 99% of places in the USA these days, even the ones you think are higher quality - use trash ingredients with soy as a base - these guys do not. For that I say thank you again - to the owners of Starship Bagel. You guys rock - don't listen to the winey cry baby haters.
