We had no idea it would take an hour and a half for our food to show up. And when it did well, here's how it went. My wife had the chicken piccata and I had the wise guy pizza. My wife enjoyed her plate. Based on the last time I ordered the same pizza a year ago what showed up on the table was a sad echo of something that used to be good. The sauce was very thin and to the point of almost being nonexistent. The meatballs were very stingy as if they were trying to increase their margins by short serving a basic pizza. Overall, it was very dry and lacking of any discernible taste. No doubt because it sat in the kitchen for quite awhile, given the unusual duration that it took for our food to show up. I've had better frozen pizzas from the grocery store. It was a very dry and disappointing for something that used to be overloaded with flavor, sauce and meatball chunks. It was a marked contrast from when we had been here a year ago. What used to be a regular go to has turned into a sad disappointment. I'm putting it down to perhaps they had an off night. But we're not in a hurry to come back anytime soon to see if that was the case.

The server was very nice and the food came out fairly fast but unfortunately it just didn't taste good. Has anyone else ever seen a deepfried crabcake at an upscale restaurant? Or I guess any restaurant for that matter? It was just a very distasteful way to present a dish that should have taken more TLC to prepare rather than just to bread and throw in a fryer like that. Sad day for us as this was on our date night list of local places to try out. We did flag down the manager to give him some live feedback.
