I don't know who put a curse on Georgetown but I'm amazed at how this town can ruin any restaurant! This Schlotzsky's makes the worst sandwiches. In fact, if you've ever had a sandwich from the Round Rock location, you bud never know this is the same franchise. They cut their tomatoes way too thick, their bread is rarely toasted, and they don't peel the skin off of the onions before they slice them. The meat is always sliced too thick and it's chewy! Worst brisket sandwich I've ever had. Their photo of the sandwich looked great, but clearly did not compare to the sandwich I got. It was limited in meat, but plenty of bread. I firmly believe that when you order a sandwich it should have a significant amount of beef or chicken or whatever the sandwich consists of. But in this case I completely feel cheated as to the content of my sandwich and the quality. I do not know if this is a franchise, which could've been part of the problem, but nonetheless, no more Schlotzsky's for me. There are many many more options out there. read more

My wife and I had lunch at Schlotzsky's today and Koerth took our order. We were both extremely impressed with the way Koerth treated us and every customer who walked in and out of the restaurant. His customer service stood out to us so much that when we were leaving the restaurant we asked him what his name was and told him how impressed we were. It seems like nowadays it is difficult for companies to hire staff that will even show up let alone go way above and beyond in customer service. I have been going to this Schlotzsky's for a long time now, and I've always ordered a Large sandwich of any flavor. Well today we sent one of our team members to get lunch for the team today, and we were ordering a large smokecheesy (which is amazing btw). The girl turned to a guy and asked him if we have a large in that and he told her no, that that sandwich doesn't come in a large. I was shocked!!!! Because three days ago I got it in a large. I've always been amazed by their hard work, and amazing sandwiches, but this time nope. Thank you guy who said "No" because of you this is the first bad review I've written for this location. So disappointed that they lied about making a large sandwich. As I came in and stood at the counter not one word was spoken by Mr. Max. It really appeared that I was bothering him. I asked him how he was. Just rubbed me wrong. Was excited to try the gluten free bun here. Ordered the turkey original small. Added jalapeños. As far as presentation it was terrible. Super sloppy looking, wasn't cut in the middle, and to top it off, didn't get any jalapeños. Gluten free bun was alright, but it was very uneventful. read more

I've never been fond of this place, but I returned again today because I was about to eat my own face I was so hungry and my choices were this place and Burger King right next door. So, Schlotzkys it was. It still amazes me every time I go to order the regular smoked turkey sandwich.....it's 7 freaking dollars. C'mon man! There's nothing special about it. I had to douse it in hot sauce to give it any sort of flavor. Overpriced and flavorless isn't a good combo. That being said their staff is very pleasant and they are very accommodating for catering orders. There's a surgeon close by that I call on who loves sandwiches so I've gotten a few trays from here before. Always on time, always looks nice and a pretty good deal for all the little sammys you get. But, the taste is still an issue for me. But hey, this is my wife's favorite sandwich spot so po-Tay-toe po-tah-toe I suppose. As far as a chain goes, Potbelly has my heart. read more

Decent Sandwich. Only visiting from the Pacific Northwest, but being an Austin native, I really missed Schlotzsky's. It seems to have changed a bit over time, but it's basically a decent fast-food Muffuletta sandwich. This location has Cinnabon as well. The BBQ chips were pretty good, and the 'Original' sandwich was solid and filling. The bread (which is what makes this a thing) was crispy on the outside, and chewy on the inside. We strolled in while waiting for an oil change. I like the choices on the menu. I was in the mood for healthy and light, that's what they offered :) We ordered one bowl of tomato basil soup, one pick 2 of garden vegetable soup and chicken Cesar salad, and one soda. The total came to about $15.00. The service was friendly, the wait time was reasonable and they have a nice little patio as a seating option. Very slow service and then when I finally was able to eat my meal it was wrong. Check your bag contents before you drive off, folks.

We placed an order tonight through Schlotzsky's website for delivery. We received the wrong order late and quickly contacted the third party delivery vendor and was directed to contact Schlotzsky's. We contacted Schlotzsky's and were told they are not responsible for the delivery driver. Now I understand they are two separate entities but if you state on your website for delivery shouldn't you hold some type of responsibility for that statement? All in all neither Schlotzsky's or Door dash made this right and we were left with food no one here would ever order nor any means to go get more food and both companies telling us they are not responsible. I guess door dash is going to refund us but it will take 24 hours . During hard times and to be treated in this manner is beyond me. I will never order another meal from Schlotzsky's again or from any other restaurant that uses door dash as a delivery service. What has happened to customer service these days? read more

This is one of the few sandwich shops available in Georgetown. There are several sub shops but Schlotzsky's is one of the rare restaurants devoted to making a delicious sandwich. My husband and I go there about once a month and are never disappointed. He gets his usual ham and cheese but I branch out and try their pizza, soup and most recently, their new calzones. I had their BBQ Chicken calzone and it was amazing. It all comes down to their fresh baked bread. It's incomparable. My favorite is their dark rye. Their staff is always friendly and are so patient with me when I stare at their extensive menu trying to decide what I want to eat. We were there last weekend and the drive they was very busy. However, we received the same helpful service we always receive. It's become our first choice on a weekend night when we're looking for something other than the usual fried food fares that other restaurants offer. read more

The older woman with short hair working the front is so incredibly sweet and precious! She is def an asset to this location! Max the shift manager is the same Max that earlier Yelper talked about...he just seems to be "out there"...if he were a veteran I'd say he's a candidate for PTSD. As a shift manager he needs to learn about customer service and being friendly. Just saying. Oh and the food was just ok. For a sandwich that costs almost $7 it was tasteful but the amount of meat was pretty stingy. Be advised that the door you walk into has a sign that warns about currently on going upgrading inside...so part of the pantry shelves are in the eating area. I love schlotzsky's. I usually can't wait to get back in Texas so I can get one. I just finished the San Antonio half marathon relay and was so excited to come back to Georgetown to have a schlotzsky's. My sister and husband went to pick it up so I could relax. They came back and only one order out of 3 was correct. My sister said that in the middle of the order the order taker was called away to deliver food? What.? My sister said she didn't even finish her order. Needless to say hers was wrong. My husbands was the wrong size and the wrong chips. Geeez. Really. Not rocket science! I called the establishment and the "manager" was super rude and said she called the order taker away. (Thinking she would apologize, but NO" she said I was unreasonable. I got angry. We ordered an assortment of sandwiches and chips to take to my son's birthday party with a dozen rowdy and persnickety kids at a paintball facility. Schlotzsky's did such a great job taking our order and getting everything right. The sandwiches were packaged in a pizza-like box which fits perfectly in a standard size cooler and stays plenty fresh on top of the ice. The kids loved the selection and ate everything. The food was a huge hit!! It is so nice when you get exceptional service that doesn't require much effort on your part.
