We've had Schlotzsky's a handful of times & although the wait is a bit longer than I'd like, I can appreciate the fact that the food is made fresh--which truth be told, is exactly what should be expected out of an establishment & none of that pre-heated (or even RE-heated) crap some places serve! ...SO...if you're HANGRY; you've been warned. (worth the wait) I guess we've been lucky to find seating when we've come because my husband claims the place can sometimes get packed during lunch rush-hour from Luke AFB. HOWEVER, this afternoon I was pleased to find out that you can order ahead if you download their app: lotz4me PS. I HAVEN'T USED THE APP, SO DON'T COME FOR ME! but it is a nice way to "order ON-line so you don't have to wait IN-line!" lol. (oh, I crack myself up!) They offer a nice mixture of tables, booths & outdoor seating under a shaded canopy! I personally LOOOOOOVE the broccoli cheddar soup, but I'm gangsta like that. My experience came at the end of a long day. I just wanted something for dinner and then head to the motel for a good nights rest. The young drive through lady was not very polite, short (not physically), and had no personality. She was not helpful in educating first time guests to the menu. She acted as if she did not want to be working. We were putting her out. At the conclusion, a Cinnabon sounded great. She told us they were all out. I feel she could have made a reccommendation, well We don't have cinnamon buns, but we have (insert other product here). This employee needs to find another job, not working front line as she doesn't represent the restraunt well. She obviously has something more important to do than serve me. I should have canceled my order and left, but I was hungry and tired. I do not intend to ever eat at this restraunt again after this incident. read more

I came to this place for a quick breakfast run at 9am, and I was the only customer present. It was my first time at this restaurant and didn't know what to expect on the menu. It was sandwiches and wraps. I had the ham burrito, which was actually really good (10 inches in length). The food took a while to cook, but that's a good thing (not preheated). Disgusting, Schlotzsky's used to be one of my faves. This is my first time at this location. I usually go to Tempe or by Metro. The register girl with blue hair clearly hates her job. $40 for 2 ppl is NOT worth it. The place smelled of sewer or backed up plumbing...my husband said it smelled like Raid, floor hasn't been mopped since who knows when, the bathroom is gross. My husband is tall and told me to stay away from the tea's as they had no lids and u can see the scum and residue build up like they hadn't been washed EVER! read more

Counter lady was cordial and when I placed my order and tried to ask for different bread I was told no without explanation. I noticed the menu said, "change any sandwich into a wrap" so I asked for that. She asked for the manager of the time , he was a young man and he came to front counter and said , no- turned around and left. No explanation when I had confusion. What if I wanted it in gluten free bread? It is the same ingredients - just put on different bread. He refused . Then my husband ordered soup- with Parmesan. When asked if he wanted pesto in it - my husband said no, I am allergic to nuts. Horrible service- waited 20 minutes for our flatbread order and then it was incorrect. When I brought it to the front stating it was the incorrect flatbread order, the server stated "you don't want it?" I stated it was incorrect and they said they needed to see the receipt because that is what i ordered. Once I showed them the receipt that had the correct item on it, they said, "oh, I guess we will have to remake one for you." Won't frequent this place again! read more

This is our second visit within the last 2 weeks to this place and it'll be our last visit. Not very impressed with this place at all and would not recommend it to anybody stay away. Order through DoorDash and asked for no mustard, no onions and to have avocado to be added. Sandwich has mustard, onions and no avocado. Called and was told they would redeliver my food. which I though was awesome. No food was ever delivered. I ordered a meal as a large size and the sandwich came out med size. I asked about the order and the manager said that the sandwich I ordered came in a med size. I was ok with the explanation and returned to the table eat my meal. Minutes later they brought me another med size sandwich at no cost to me. I was not expecting that to happen and was very satisfied with what I first got. That was very nice and unexpecting. Thank you for the very professional service. Schlotzsky's used to be a pretty good sandwich shop. Not so much anymore. We have tried the location on Litchfield a few times with ok results. Today my wife ordered a salad, two teas, and a couple of deserts. When I arrived to pick up the order I was given a bag which I thought was everything. When I got home I was informed that we were missing the two teas and deserts. I called the location and was pleasantly surprised that they would deliver the remaining order. Once we had received the rest of the order we sat down to eat. As my wife was eating her salad she screamed and noticed a large green bug walking on the rim of the salad bowl. Schlotzsky's has breakfast now! Had to give it a try. My friend & I shared a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich and 2 breakfast tacos (one bacon, one ham-no veggies). Everything was tasty. The tacos were stuffed and very filling. The lady working was nice and filled our cups with some freshly brewed iced tea. read more

I've been going to this location for years! Love their sandwiches! I always get the same sandwich, ALWAYS! Today no different. Well when I got home and opened my box (always get a large sandwich so I have a few meals), I noticed this is not the sandwich I order. I even looked on their menu to see what I was given and couldn't find it. I have no idea what they made but it's a random sandwich lol it's a turkey sandwich with avocado, tomatoes, onions, and lettuce... most bland sandwich I've ever had! The sandwich I normally get has turkey, bacon, cheese, sauce, peppers... this is definitely not it! I would give 0 stars . When through the drive thru . Told the lady who was at the window politely that the speaker on the menu was muffled and hard to hear . She said I know and told me I didn't have to say bad words . I ask her what bad word did I use and she replied I used the word "stupid " I preceded to tell her I didn't say that .
