It looked great, but it tasted like Campbells Vegetarian Vegetable with cubes of mystery meat that i suppose was suppose to chicken. It was 5.79 for 8 oz cup and absolutely not worth it for the quality. No flavor of Mexi taste at all. Awesome experience at Schlotzskys today. Cory the assistant manager was so helpful and friendly. He was polite and truly respectful, you don't get service like he gave very often anymore. I unfortunately don't have a picture of our sandwiches but they were delicious and had very generous amount of meat and veggies on them. The restaurant was super clean. Even the bathrooms. Yesterday I had a great Schlotzskys experience in Midlothian. Today in Lampassas it's a different story. Yesterday I ordered a strawberry salad. It came with raspberry vinaigrette, non flavored croutons, and warm chicken. In lampassas I got I don't even know what type of dressing. The croutons were flavored, taking away from the salad. The lettuce was on its last leg. The chicken was cold and clumped together. The person taking my order smelled like he had not showered in days. They had two different radios going. One was mainstream. The second was explicit content. I bought 4 Cinnabons to take home to my wife and kids. The cashier commented about how much I was spending on them. I ordered center of the roll pecanbons and got regular cinnamon rolls. First customer in the morning and the trash and bathrooms had not been cleaned from the previous night. They have a sign clamming they were awarded best sandwich shop in 2022. The competition obviously was not very stiff and I assume they still lost in 2023 and 2024. Schlotzskys, you can do better. I'm going to say two stars only because the Cinnabon rolls were not dry. read more

Waited 22 minutes for my sandwich and I gave up when I realized that 7-110 people who were seated when I ordered were still waiting for their food. I received a refund and was told flatly they were slammed because of their special. The store was presumably understaffed. Stopped on a road trip from Dallas and this totally hit the spot. Everything my family and I ordered was absolutely perfect. I got a veggie flatbread that was flavorful and fresh and delicious. This Schlotzsky's location is the best one I have ever been to. The food is great, the staff is really nice and genuinely seems happy to be there. The restaurant is extremely clean. I observed three different crew members clean one table three separate times! My only complaint is the wait time. It took almost 15 minuets to get my meal, so if your in a hurry you must account for that. Although the wait was worth it, for the hot and filling meal. l must caution you about their large sandwiches, they are HUGE (they look like a pizza)!!! I would go with a medium, it's a good size. I would recommend the Ham Cheese Original or the Turkey Bacon Club sandwich, if it's your first time here. read more

Apart from getting good foo that I expect to get when I eat out, we received wonderful service. Greeted with a smile and welcome to Schlotzsky's! As I ate and observed what was around me, I watched staff clean. When they were not actively waiting on a customer they would actually clean!! The trash station had no sitting trays, soda/tea station was clean from debris, tables and floors were spotless. The ladies room was clean and smelled good. As I was walking out an employee was walking in for her shift and she greeted me with a smile and a "have a great day". I really love Schlotzsky's and I have been eating at this location for quite some time. But, every time I have dined at this locale, the re is an issue with their drink machine. Either there was no ice, or the floor drain below it was completely gone or your desired soft drink was unavailable or ran out half way thru dispensation. read more
