It's disappointing when you go somewhere expecting a good meal and the staff take away from the experience every single time. The front counter staff are never welcoming or friendly. This new pizza establishment offers all slices at one fixed price, regardless of topping. The pizza was flavorful and enjoyable. Service was attentive, and the environment is both clean and safe. A great addition--I look forward to returning. read more

I hate sending this message, but over a week later, I am still beyond angry with the service we received. Date: 10/27 Time: around 7:45pm Location: Victory Lakes in Dickinson/League City, Texas We had a small break at the baseball tournament near this location. We decided to buy your pizzas since they were on special. When I pulled up to the drive thru window to make my order, the young lady informed me that the special was only available through the app. When I suggested ordering them through the app, she sighed and wanted to let me know that I should expect about a 40 minute wait if I did that - she wanted me to order them at full price. We decided we would just go the another fast food restaurant next door as we felt that they really did not want to make us the pizzas and at this point I was worried they would do something haneous with our order. Unfortunately, when I turned the corner in the drive through, I was blocked in - one car was at the drive through window. We sat there for an eternity for the car in front of us to get their order. At this point, my stress level was rising as we only had a small break between games. That evening, I attempted to get somebody on the phone at their location to 1) get the drive through cleared so we could exit and 2) talk to management about what was shared with us. NO ANSWER other than pre-recorded message - no way to leave a message!!! I called throughout the evening over a dozen times. No answer other than pre-recorded message ever. The following morning, I called a few times - same results - just an pre-recorded message. I then decided to let it go. However, I visited another Schlotzsky's this weekend. They informed me that the pizza deal is definitely not just an app deal. I looked into this situation further and discovered this to be true all across the country. Today, I have called this store again to share my horrible experience as it totally spoiled our evening last weekend. I feel they should know that their employees are blatantly lying to avoid working. Unfortunately, no human answering. I did, however, finally get the opportunity to leave a message. I want to note - my family eats at Schlotzsky's at least 1-2 times every 2 weeks. My teenage daughter is gluten free and loves both their sandwiches and pizza. We have never had a genuine complaint. 1/4/25 - Schlotzkys, League City on 646 - Nothing good about this one..Ordered delivery at 10:00 AM for a 3:00 PM family event to be delivered between 2:15 and 2:30 PM. No delivery by 2:30, started calling store every 5 mins or so for an hour. No one ever picks up, phone goes to voicemail everytime saying they will get back to you tomorrow. Had one of the family members go to store at 3:00 still looking for order. They said store was empty, wonder why no one can answer phone? He ask about order, they say it's wrong store. He shows them confirmation and payment info. All the sudden they can find the order ticket. "Do you still want us to make it?" I went on my lunch bread & decided to order the shrimp roll . I didn't notice the food was burnt until I got back to work. I'm not sure if the shrimp is supposed to be cold ( which it was) then the burnt rolls being . My break was almost over , I called the location to talk to the manager and let them know that my lunch was ruined and they asked me to bring the food back . I went after work and received a refund and that's it. I not only didn't have no lunch my time was spent having to take back the burnt food . I will not be back , not what I was expecting at all. Even though these restaurants have become ubiquitous in our area, I don't feel like they have become overrun by a corporate mentality. People here are generally helpful and courteous. I don't think that I ever have had a bad experience at any of their restaurants. This location is no exception. When I come here, I always wonder if I have stepped into the Twilight Zone or some sort of Zombie apocalyptic time warp. The employees here are literally like zombies or robots. They have no personality whatsoever to the point of being uncomfortably awkward. As for the sandwiches, they're generally good but the last one I had there was put together in a really sloppy manner. Okay, so they're not a fancy restaurant or anything, but when you want a good warm sammich, they've got you covered. Plus, their potato soup isn't half bad, and they have Diet Dr. Pepper from the fountain--at least most of the time. I've never actually been inside, though. I always order online and then we pick up at the drive-thru. I love the convenience of being able to do that. I don't eat here often, but when I do, they always have the order ready fast, it's always hot and prepared properly. The staff have always been kind and professional too. It's always been bagged well, with the accessories (like spoons and napkins and such) and they aren't stingy when you ask if you can have another dressing package for your Greek salad--thanks for that! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! came for the 2 for 1 bogo deal and after ordering our pizza and trying to make sure the cashier who doesn't speak english knows that's what we wanted, she ordered us for one pizza without the bogo deal??? so I go back up to the manager to try and fix the problem and of course she doesn't speak english well either says it's my fault her cashier didn't ring it up like that and once I said it wasn't her fault who can I call to fix this she pointed to her manager pin and said no one i'm the manager. Rude employees! They couldn't be bothered to come and take my order after entering the store. Three proceeded to talk near the kitchen area for at least 2 minutes. Okay I know only 2 minutes but it's just rude at my business I would never do that to a potential customer! I knew what I wanted and ordered quickly. We have been here a few times, and usually had a good experience. Sometimes the person at the window is sarcastic like me and my husband, so we'll be able to joke around. Last night was not the case. The young girl had an attitude when I asked if I could switch the cookie to apples on my son's kids meal. I also added on a southwest chicken salad at the window, and she literally told me "I guess". We walked in at 8:20 PM to the entire restaurant with chairs stacked and the floors being mopped in the main room and scrubbed in the kitchen. The girl jumped and said we scared her when we merely opened the front door and walked in. We asked if they were still open and she said yes they were cleaning up ahead of time. They continued to sweep, empty trash cans, and mop around us... the kitchen floors too . It was unappetizing and unwelcoming.
