Cheddars never disappoints! If you want a great meal that feels home cooked, Cheddars is the go to. It's like Luby's without the cafeteria style pickup, which was all ways my least favorite part of Lubys. I will say this location is nestled between freeways, but thanks GPS for not steering me wrong (pun intended lol). On a weekday, location was not packed and I was greeted and taken to my prefeered seating of a booth right away. Tammy, my server was very sweet and hospitable. I asked about one of their entrees I saw on the menu that seemed relatively new but defaulted to my fav- the blackended salmon! I was given a complimentary honey butter croissant while I waited for my order (which by the way was scrumptious). Order came out swifty and was a picture of perfection! Apologies that I didnt take a picture of my entree but not eating breakfast, a Yelper was hangry! Rice was cooked to perfection along with the salmon. I also enjoyed my green beans and the baked potato all the way. The whole plate was delicious from the first to last bite. Once finished dining you just check out from the mini table kiosk and go. I've been here a few times. Each time has been for a private event in the back room reserved for large parties. The service has been great every time and we were able to enjoy our food and our event without multiple interruptions. The food is always good, and while most things on the menu are good but not really anything to write home about; the Monte Cristo is absolutely the best I've ever had. Not just at this location. They're consistent at every Cheddar's location I've tried - which is only 3 or 4. They have delicious croissants and they used to have a wonderful bread pudding made from said croissants. They don't have that anymore, but they should definitely bring it back because it was *chef's kiss* fantastic! I took off one star because it seems as though every time I've been here, there gets to a certain point in the meal when drinks stop being refilled and you see your server less and less, making it hard to get one last drink or your check so you can get going. This is definitely my preffered location if I could provide 100 stars I would, the hospitality from the mangers and staff are top tier! Mr. Trevor goes out his way to assure the customers are beyond satisfied, even on the busiest days he makes time to assure your meal is fresh, hot, and to your liking! He's extremely knowledgeable regarding the menu items, offers suggestions to assure satisfaction, and his professionalism is unmatched ! This man was literally all over the place every time I looked up trying to make sure that everyone was satisfied from To Go to dining and kept a great attitude while doing so! Most managers would have an attitude, but this guy kept his head up with a smile still checking on customers ! Every part and piece of my meal was to prefection !!!! I've only been to Cheddar's once before in my life, and I forgot that it's actually pretty good. We got there, and our server was really nice and gave us free croissants to begin our meal, which I didn't know was a thing. Then, I ordered a New Orleans pasta, and it was so yummy. It was so creamy, and had chicken, sausage, and shrimp in it with a piece of garlic bread. The flavor was pretty solid, and it was a good portion size for being $15. The ambiance is on par with like a BJ's or a Cheesecake Factory. It was pretty loud and busy, since there were a lot of people there for dinner. read more

Went to Cheddars on5/10/26 to take my sister to Mother's Day the day before . Yes they were packed and yes we walked in and got seated .waitress was very nice and helpful. Well we placed our orders beef tips and asks for the beef tips to be cooked well done over the rice and when. She got the beef tips over rice the meat was totally red in the inside and I was furious cause you place an order and no matter how backed up you're are fix people food to their liking . Well I ordered the fish and shrimp very greasy and not fried to my liking to when you cut into the fish the grease came out first . We all want to take our love ones out and for them to make memories and have an enjoyable experience .for there special day. The rating for the fish and shrimp will be a 7 and the grill chicken with pico and shrimp rate 6 chicken was grilled but dry didn't feel like reordering ,but very disappointed in Cheddars especially for Mothers Day and 6 for the broccoli rice &cheese and corn . The way I see it maybe some special days we may not need to go out maybe that would be less frustrating for families that tries to do something good for their love one's . Another delicious place in Texas to go eat! The waiter was so attentive With the service being 5 star for sure! They start you of by bringing Honey Buttered croissant to the table! These croissants are amazing...they are so soft and fluffy they practically melt in your mouth! Decided to try ordering food here. The chicken fried steak was large size but meat taste more like ground steak. Cheddar brocoli casserole ok, not much flavor. White fish, 5 piece serving. Cheddars there are a lot of options you can choose from. We were seated fairly quickly. For appetizers, we tried the trio sampler which was pretty solid, and the honey butter croissants which were flaky and crispy. For my entree, I got the country-fried steak with broccoli cheese casserole and mashed potatoes. Portion sizes were huge, especially for the price. I got the same thing a second time around to go and then it seemed the quality went down a little bit the food was more on the saltier side and the crisp from the batter of the fried steak wasn't there, so a little bit inconsistent. First off, your server orders your drinks and brings out a crescent drizzled in condensed milk? Whatever it was, it was light and flakey and delicious! They will tell you first one is free, any thereafter are a dollar and some change (didn't hear the exact amount). My niece and I ordered the chicken tenders to share, what a great portion for sharing. We ate every last bite and we're both full. The chicken tenders are very crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The mashed potato with cream gravy and broccoli cheese casserole were perfect accompaniments. My bf had the chicken fried steak with green beans and I didn't hear a word out of his mouth because he was enjoying his food too much! Great service, clean place. Plenty of parking out front. They have a little tablet like device on the table for kids to play video games or watch videos. That same device shows you what they have on their dessert menu as well. Food was not bad, I'll start with that. I was expecting the honey butter croissants to come out warm when they brought them but they weren't, they were a little hard. This was only the second time I have ever been here and the one thing I remembered about this place was that the croissants were delish. I ordered a bowl of potato soup, it was good, nothing spectacular. I was hesitant to order more croissants but I did. Those were better, tasted fresh. We also got the cheese curds and my boyfriend ordered the Monte cristo. Cheese curds were good, he enjoyed his sandwich but said they could've put more meat in there. Service was ok, our server had no personality and when she brought me a refill on my water she didn't bring my lemon like I had asked. The biggest concern I had was when using the bathroom I noticed the drain was so dirty, it looked like it had years of buildup on it, made me wonder if they let the kitchen appliances that they use to cook the food with get buildup like that as well. I got the alfredo pasta and it was soooooo delicious i could not believe it. like im not even joking i had a ratatouille anton ego moment the pasta tasted exactly like my moms. the sauce was not too much and not too little. perfect, dare i say. the chicken was a little sour, but its okay since it went well with the pasta. the garlic bread was a little ehh,, but its okay. Cheddars also has the best ranch out of any restaurant! Bacon cheese fries came out a bit cold, but they give you such a huge portion. Yay for getting your moneys worth. Went to cheddars on November 23, 2024, at around 12 PM. Greeted by a very rude girl who did not acknowledge us. We asked to be seated at the first booth in the bar section. We sat down. She threw the menus on the table and walked away. I said thank you, and she turned around and gave me a rude look. We sat there for 20 minutes; nobody came to the table. The bartender was making faces from a distance, knowing that we were sitting there waiting. A couple came in and sat in the middle of the bar area at a table. He went to them and took their order as we continued to wait. We called cheddars from the table so we could speak to the manager since we could not find anyone. We were placed on hold, so we stopped a bus boy and asked him to get the manager, and the manager finally came to our table. We explained the rude host, which turns out she was not a host. But in charge of the curbside pickup, the manager did apologize for the wait and the rudeness of the girl, but our table felt uncomfortable. The girl and other waiters were in a small group, including the bartender, looking our direction and pointing and talking about us. It was very strange. We will not be going back to this location ever again. We're regular customers. We had an experience three weeks ago with poor food quality and wrong orders, and now this. Usually people eat seafood after coming from Galveston. We tried going to one in league city but was sooo over crowded! We saw this cheddars near by and decided to come here. $5 HUGE MARGARITAS! I had one and was tipsy. Super strong and cheap. These prices are unheard of. I ordered their fish tacos with fries. No the best tacos but still edible. I didnt like the corn that was in the slaw that came in the tacos. Needed a good chipotle sauce... the tortillas were also not the best. We went there 3/9/24. I ordered the bourbon salmon with broccoli and carrots. Unfortunately they decided to serve me rotten broccoli. When the issue was relayed to the server, she notified the manager. At first, the manager acted as if she could not see that the broccoli was served rotten. Once she saw the state of the broccoli, she offered another serving of broccoli to which I refused. She then offered another side however, seeing that they are willing to serve rotten food and excuse it, I declined. After which she apologized then walked away. I would not eat at this location nor recommend anyone to eat here. Also, our waitress forgot to bring us silverware. They were not that busy to make mistakes of such nature.
