Went today to try the gluten free bread. Not the same as the regular bread of course, but all of the other meat and toppings were the same. The sandwich tasted great and the employee was very knowledgeable and helpful. The food was made quickly and smelled great in the car on the way home. The store was very clean, I was there not long after opening and it smelled good inside. It's an easy stop after a grocery store run at Kroger. Overall I will go to this location again. read more

The food was excellent as always. However when we arrived the lady who took our order was also mopping the floor in the dining room. Not necessarily a bad thing. She was, however, dipping the mop in the soapy water and mopping without wringing the mop out at all. This left puddled soapy water all over the dining room floor. When we left after dining, approximately 30 minutes later, the floor was still very, very wet. Anyone not paying attention could have easily slipped and fell. My better judgement told me to turn around and leave but I ignored that and forged ahead. First I ordered the French dip, and what I was served were a bunch of blobs of cooked fat. I'm tired of going to this location and getting less than what I'm supposed to especially on the pizzas. Tonight was the last straw. Ordered the vegetable supreme which was supposed to have 5 veggies. The mushrooms and the green peppers were missing. The tomato was limited, onion skimpy but the olives were OK. I called and was told that they were out of mushrooms. Asked why weren't we told that when we ordered? No answer. Was told I could come back and he'd give me some chopped peppers. I said really? So then he offered to make me a new pizza if I brought the old one back. Told him to forget it. On my past several sandwich orders I'd really have to look to find the lettuce. Sometimes the meat seemed less than it used to be. I understand times are tough but don't advertise photos of loaded pizzas or sandwiches but sell me something much less. It really makes me disappointed that I can't ever get a decent sandwich here. Without fail I always get the most dry, skimpy sandwich imaginable. The bread is never fresh and often hard and my sandwich is extremely dry! Add to that, when I visit the Schlotzsky's on Hwy 380, I'm always given my order with a nice pickle. That makes a difference with my sandwich and experience. This location is closest to me, so I have to drive out of my way to go to the Hwy 380 location if I ever want my sandwich made correctly. I order the fresh veggie and you would think because it's only made of lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and cucumbers that it would be packed hearty. No protein, typically indicates, this is the only meal I'm enjoying, please don't short change me. Had to stop at this location and sadly it's the same thing as always. This place needs a new crew, new training or a new management level. This is pathetic. I even asked for more sauce and veggies thinking I'd have to REQUEST a right size sandwich - nope, opened it when I got home and it's the same dry mess. Attached is a photo. The mixed greens salad was fresh and loaded with nuts, raisins, chicken and blue cheese crumbles. I added the blue cheese dressing. Staff was great and ordering was easy. I ordered a pizza online for my girlfriend and I while I waited for her to get out of work and when you order, they say that you can either go through the drive thru and pick it up or call and they will bring it outside. I get there a few minutes after my pizza is ready and I go through the drive through, I'm sitting there for at least a minute or two saying "hello?" But no one answered me so I drive around and see that guy that's supposed to be on the drive thru mic, on his phone. I thought to myself like okay whatever, let me just call and get my pizza. It's late, I get it. I go and sit in the parking lot and call to tell them I'm there to pick up my order and they say "you can either come inside or go through the drive through." I got a little irritated at this point because I was just in their drive through, but whatever, I just want my pizza so I pull up through the drive through again and up to the window this time because no one answered, and when I got to the window there were three people standing there and two of them just stared at me, and the lady walked away from the window completely. The guy finally opens the window and is like "Hello?" Like I wasn't just on the phone with them for my order? Ontop of that, my pizza was dry as hell. Sandwiches take foreeeveeerrrrrr to make, they make you pull over to a parking spot and wait for your sandwich. If there is a car in front of you forget it, it will take 30+min to get your sandwich. Not always but the dude working there today was high and couldn't even speak. Normally these sandwiches are good but not today. We ordered a turkey original and it was slathered in mayonnaise and no cheese. I also decided to try a calzone and I don't recommend the French dip one. Then I asked for my receipt but instead was given the one for the person behind me. When asked for it again it didn't happen. I am disappointed that they cannot get an order correct. An order was placed using Door Dash and the way I see it this was a double failure 1) by the Resturant that creates and pulls the order. 2) by door dash for not checking the order prior to delivery. The next issue is the Resturant refuses to refund the order the manager offered a store credit only and informed me to contact Door Dash if I wanted a refund. When I called Door Dash they only offer a store credit and that was through on-line messaging because you cannot get through to talk to anyone. This is poor customer service all the way. Update I have to say that both Schlotzsky's corporate and the local store contacted me to apologize for the mistake and rectify the mistake. Visited this location about a week after they opened. Not a great experience so decided to write my review after going back for a second time. The next time was after they had been opened for awhile. When i got home to share with family, all I received was brisket on a Hawaiian Bun . Briskets had no, nada, zilch Provolone cheese, pineapple kale slaw, red onion, basil and dressing. Had never been to a Schlotzsky's before and figured we'd give a try instead of the usual sandwich spot. We ordered online for pick up at 1pm, I ended up getting there at about 12:50 and let them know I was there to get my order. They checked and said it won't be ready for a bit but that was expected. I sat down and waited...and waited...and waited. At about 1:15 I checked and was told it would be 5 more minutes. Now to give context in the time I had been waiting maybe 4 dine in orders had come through. Not exactly a mad rush on the restaurant especially considering they must be able to serve quickly given they have a drive through. Finally my sandwiches came out with absolutely none of the other parts of my order, no chips, no kid's drink or cookie. I asked about them and they asked me what else I had ordered while a receipt was sitting not 5 feet away. Not great. Eventually I got everything and I went on my way but for the first time I ever tried Schlotzsky's it was a terrible impression. I've visited a half dozen times in the last 6 months and only procured a cup of soup ONCE (and it wasn't even the soup I wanted; they were - SURPRISE! - out of my first choice).
