We didn't necessarily want to get dressed up to go out to eat and it was already a little after 7pm. When we arrived I noticed how clean the restaurant was from the outside and it proved to be that way on the inside. We were seated promptly. There were about 5 other tables occupied at the time. I wish that I had gotten a picture of our food but I didn't think about it because I am not one that normally reviews businesses unless specifically asked to do so. I am a Chicken fired steak snob and I have to say that this one passed the test. It was the perfect size. It was tender enough that I did not need a knife to cut it. I had a side of green beans and mashed potatoes with it. This hit the spot for home cooking. Our waiter was Edvin and he was very attentive and made sure a few times that we were enjoying what we had ordered and asked if we needed anything. We will be absolutely be going back because they serve breakfast all day which is hard to find these days and I am old school and crave breakfast for dinner on occasion. Since there appears there's only an elderly male and female working this place, we had to wait for the elderly female to get done sweeping outside to come in and cook our breakfast. Then our breakfast was served in shifts because she was doing the cooking and serving while the male was working elsewhere. We needed "to go" boxes and had to wait 5-10 minutes to get them...even tho we were only 2 of the 4 people in the whole place. This place isn't going to make it after it appears it has changed hands from years ago. At this point, we hope we don't end up with some kind of food poisoning from our experience.

He told us all about how they source their unique draft beers from all over--including an incredible one from Iowa that Brian absolutely loved.
