we went to the Schlotzsky's on MacArthur Boulevard in Oklahoma City today. It's not as fancy as some of the others, but it was clean, the people who waited on us mannered, and it wasn't really crowded. note to parents there are these cute little signs that have lightbulbs and miniature lightbulbs that toddlers can grab would think they're so easy to screw them out. Of course I'm a grandmother and it's been a while with a grandchild and I thought those things were stronger and I told Mom he won't get those out on the very next word , my child is nine years old yikes that year old had screwed it out on the couch or the booth right in front of him. I looked at his mom said no and she left. Her other son who is my grandchild, grabbed it and screwed it right back in. He's a good kid and all we had to do is don't do that and then go find something else like jumping on his big brother. Kids weren't loud and they were very tolerant as we sat there and he escaped once running across the floor, but we called him almost immediately and I was surprised that they were so easy-going with. Of course he didn't get into anything, but that really encouraged me that this is very family friendly restaurant. The food is average. It's not out of this world wonderful and it's not nasty either. It's just average but the bread is so good. It's sourdough buns that you just have to go get some when you're around. I can eat their buns in them. Their bread is so good. They also have pizza salad soup, not a big group of soups, but they have some so there's a little bit of everything so everyone can be satisfied Schlotzky is definitely a place to check out. I've tried several in the Oklahoma City area and I've never had a problem in any of them. They've always been clean quiet nice cashiers polite, rude. And it took about five minutes to get our food by the time we got all of us settled at a booth here here they were with our food! I was like woo hoo when did this happen? The only thing is I like potato chips before, but they done something and changed that they weren't as good as they normally were my (ex) Daughter-in-law as well agreed that they didn't have much taste. We both had different types. I had jalapeño ones and you could taste jalapeño on them neither but those worth having if you'd like really spicy chips. And I imagine that you can trade it with something else that they have like the fruit cup, etc.. And they do have a children's meal you can get this a little small sandwich and you can put what you want which is really nice year-old grandchild walked up there. I want turkey pickles, and nothing else mustard and nothing else. I said lettuce and lettuce. I'm always getting him to eat more vegetables. And they never blinked and smiled at him and she even reminded him when he said something about she's OK we have those we also have chocolate and vanilla milk. Would you like any of those and he said chocolate milk, of course, and she smiled and immediately. like I said, the food service was really amazing. The ambience was nice for a family. You know just laid-back and easy-going nice and bright. It's worth trying if you have kids and you want something to just grab and I imagine the kids would even like one of the little pizzas that they have . It's worth checking out as I said. read more

Excellent Schlotzsky's serving a variety of sandwiches, salads and soups with a relatively spacious interior with plenty of tables. Desserts like cookies are also served as well. Service also prompt and accurate. Recommended! read more

This review is only for the Cinnabon, which is located inside of Schlotzsky. The Cinnabon was of course VERY GOOD !!! I never thought a cinnabun could tasted so much better at this place. I've had my fair shares of cinnabuns while growing up but it was from grocery stores and such. I didn't think the quality could improve so much at the actual Cinnabon store. The only downside side is that the buns are really expensive. A classic Cinnabon bun is $3.49 and the Pecan bun is $4.00 It was definitely pricy. My eyes were bigger than my stomach on that day so I bought a classic and the pecan bun. After finishing 1 bun I was getting sick already and couldn't finish the other one. So in the future, 1 bun enough for 1 person. You don't need 2 unless you want to kill yourself. The total price for 2 buns came out around $8ish for me. I could've had a full meal for $8 instead of buying these buns. read more

We're in okc from Dallas, order Schlotzsky's at home all the time we love it. Called in our order to this location, they said it would be ready in 10 min. When we arrived they asked us to go through the drive thru line - which has 4 cars ahead of us that JUST ORDERED and now we have to wait on that- so why are you advertising call ahead and curbside ?! If we then have to wait in line for cold food? And then rude to your customers like it's our fault for expecting what you advertised. You have a sign outside your front door that says "call Us and we'll bring it out to you!" Haha but when we call you tell us to go wait in drive thru line? Take down that sign! We just drove off and you've lost our business. Not a great way to treat customers that are trying to support during this challenging time. read more

Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Decor & Style: 4/5 Probably the best fast food sandwich chain! My favorite is the Original sandwich and the double cheese and pepperoni pizza. They are consistent across the country so I always know what to expect. The taste has not changed in the 10 years i've been going to a Schlotsky's, including the Schlotzky's in Houston, TX where I use to work! I still have never tried the Cinnabon so I cannot comment on that. Other favorites includes the barbecue chicken pizza and the pastrami sandwich on Sourdough bread! I would go here more often (for fast food) if they had one near work or home, in which they don't. Service is always excellent across the nation, and decor is what I call 2000's classic, not bad. read more

Check your to-go order before leaving! The last four times we've eaten here, our order was wrong. Order accuracy is not Rocket Surgery. It almost seems the are going out of their way to screw up our order. If you order any soup, they'll likely ignore it, and omit it completely. Food quality and taste is excellent when you get what you want. Service is hit and miss. I will wait a few months for a full turnover of employees, and try again. I can't believe the total disconnect these people have with the customer. They were not interested in my problem. They just wanted to tell me that the good service I got the very first time at a Schlotzsky's was a mistake and all the other times I got poor service was correct. Wow. The first time I went to this particular, or any Schlotzsky's ever, it was wonderful. I ordered and was asked what toppings I wanted; lettuce, tomato, etc. It was a great sandwich so I went back the next day; they were out of the meat I wanted so I ordered the same sandwich as the first time with different meat. It had no veggies on it at all so I took it back and they apologized and fixed it. I went back a few days later and they were still out of the meat I wanted so I did the same thing as last time and again got it with no veggies. I went back and they said we don't put toppings on unless requested. I asked if it was extra $ and they said no. I told them the first guy asked me if I wanted toppings and they said he was wrong for doing that. read more

I went to this place tonight and ordered 2 medium Fiesta Chicken sandwiches. After waiting for almost 1/2 hour there was nobody making my sandwiches. I was looking in the area where the sandwiches are made and all I saw was a employee folding a pizza in half to take something, that looked like foil, from under th pizza that was in one of there pizza boxes. The manager on duty was refunding a customer her entire order because they didn't make the food the way she ordered it. This manager has a BAD track record with me because he was the same manager on duty when my order was made wrong a year & 1/2 ago. I just tried coming back here again a few weeks ago, the GM of this store was working and the sandwiches I ordered were great! read more

Ya know i love Schlotskys and always have, a litte over priced but hey i dont mind if the food is good. But here lately i got some Rib eye sandwiches. took them home and they were as tough as shoe leather, ended up throwing half the steaks away and just eating the rest havent been back, i guess as long as you order turkey bologna your ok, but just dont order any camel meat otherwise known as "steak" i think the workers take all the good cuts home themselves, or eat them. read more

The food was good, as usual, but I was not pleased with the customer service. My husband and I came in because of a coupon he had clipped from the Oklahoman Newspaper. It was for 2 small sandwiches, 2 chips, & 2 drinks for $10.00. The cashier didn't know how to put it into the cash register because it didn't have a code number on it. She gave it to another person [I assume the manager] to ring up on the register. He couldn't figure it out either so he just charged us for the sandwiches not the drinks or chips. This was nice but we still had to pay about 62 cents more than if we could have used the coupon. The food had already been prepared and delivered to the table and I waited for him about 4 or 5 minutes more before he had finished paying for it. While still in the restaurant the owner of the restaurant came in, so the original cashier ask us if she could show him our coupon. She came back and said he was going to call corporate and find out why the coupon had no code on it. Hopefully this helped someone else but it didn't help us. We still had to pay more than advertised. I would have thought, in order to have a satisfied customer the owner would have offered to refund our 62 cents or throw in something free. It is not the amount but the principle that matters. read more
