Small place attached to a fueling station. But! Evidently, these are common in Germany and have some of the best food. It's clean and the Host and Chef are very nice and friendly. We got the Cream Schnitzel and Spatzle (egg noodles). The two others in our party got the Hunterschnitzel with Spatzle. We all enjoyed the food. The schnitzel had crispy breading and was bigger than the plate! Perfectly cooked. The gravy was flavorful. Maybe next time I'll ask for extra. The Spatzle was fresh and a wonderful accompaniment to the meal. We had some bottled beer to go with. Check out their menu. If you're into sausage, they've got it! Great spot for authentic German cuisine! Located in a small space beside the BP gas station (two booths and six 2-seat tables) their menu is limited. Oh, but do they deliver in their menu items! You can also order to go orders online and they'll have it ready when you specify your pickup time. We ordered bratwurst and a side of potato salad which was delicious! The bratwurst was a savory flavor bomb and the German style potato salad had bacon and a light vinaigrette. Also tried the Schnitzel with Roll that was a crunchy delight on a wonderful Kaiser roll. Finished with German Mac and Cheese which had an addictively light, ooey gooey cheese pull topped with caramelized onions. I can't wait to return to try some of their schnitzel with different sauces. The place is clean and the family that owns and runs it are friendly and helpful. It's neat listening to them converse in German in the kitchen. Highly recommend! read more

Average food in a gas station. I found the schnitzel to be just average,a bit bland. Came with a handful of French fries? Not vet authentic getting fries with it. A bit pricey for the portion size. Well. Schnitzel Time opened when my friend was still living in Palm Coast. She fell, shattered her kneecap and, later, moved to Jacksonville. We stopped there in early August but they were on vacation until August 19th. We drove down from Jax for lunch on August 21st. WHAT A GREAT PLACE TO EAT! We both had curry wurst & German potato salad. YUM-O! The restaurant is beside & sort in a gas station. Never mind! It's pleasant & reasonably comfortable. Great service! Spectacular food! We plan to drive down regularly & work our way through the menu. My friend is German & I grew up in Germany! We both gave it 5 ! Good authentic German food is not readily available in Florida. As, I write this review, I am enjoying my leftovers from last night's dinner! The schnitzel was a beautiful piece of lightly breaded pork with a peppery sauerkraut. The pork was moist and delicious! I accompanied it with a side of soft butter spaetzel! It was a perfect combo. The restaurant held a few tables and booths and offered sit in eating. It was pleasant to eat in. The staff were very attentive. My only preference would be a soda fountain with ice. They offer soda but it is with can. This was a personal preference so rating still a 5!!! We have just discovered Schnitzel Time on palm harbor dr. In Palm coast. It's a cozy little place with two booths and a couple tables. There are places to sit outside too. The menu is great. Schnitzel and bratwurst with several different sauces available. Our favorite was the pepper / paprika sauce. There are also traditional German sides. We enjoyed the sampler platter for 39.88. Two nice thin crispy schnitzel's and two nice plump bratwurst served with three sides, and three sauces. We chose potato salad, spetzle and cucumber salad. Everything was great. The schnitzel was delicious with lemon alone but also was great with any of the different sauces available. The bratwurst are large plump sausage w a very crispy skin. Great with the spicy mustard or sauce, outstanding. Everything is made in house except the French fries. They offer kids hotdog or schnitzel meals for the little one. Very limited menu and they were out of chicken. I've eaten here a couple of times. The food is good but the value is not. For the same amount or less you can get a similar meal at various restaurants. The "dining room" is a couple of tables. It's okay for take out. Excellent and authentic German food and outstanding friendly service! The menu is focused on various types of schnitzel and bratwurst. Our table had Jägerschnitzel and Spätzle, Gurkensalat (cucumber salad), and Bratwurst (made in-house) and Spätzle. They offer several German beers as well. The owner and his wife are from Ludwigshafen, Germany near where my grandparents lived and my mother grew up and that Bratwurst tasted like home and was the best I've had in the USA. This little place is tucked in the corner next to the gas station. It's nicely decorated and the lady who served me was very kind and attentive. The schnitzel was very good and while tasty, the spaetzel was kind of sticky but maybe that's how it's supposed to be? The delicious gravy made everything okay! The cucumber salad was just like my grandma used to make. It was an enjoyable meal and I will be back for some bratwurst! read more

I heard so much about them on a FB group that we had to try. It is a pizzeria style place with only about 5 tables. What surprised me was the gentleman who seated us from the host/podium who I presumed to be an owner. He gruffly told us to sit anywhere. No hello or welcome when he brought menus, and never offered us a drink or asked how everything was. There was only one other table with 4 guests besides us two so he wasn't slammed with people clambering for his attention. The food was amazing. The spaetzle could have used more seasoning but the schnitzel was perfectly fried (made to order which we watched from our table). Their website touts how they are family friendly and caring. It was not displayed the day we were there. We felt like we were intruders rather than valued customers. Please get some people skills! read more

Born and raised in Germany so I can 100% say this food is very authentic and the same as what you'd order in Germany I love that the menu is available in English and German. When I ate the food I felt like I was back home! Felt so blessed to find this German restaurant because you don't find them anywhere. The owner and front desk woman who takes your order are both welcoming and super sweet. The restaurant is clean and has German vibes for sure! Our first time there and what a nice find! Kinda hidden away to the side if you didn't know it was there but they do a really good business so all the locals in the area know it's there. A lot of "to go" orders filled while we sat there and ate. Not many tables inside, maybe 3 booths & 3-4 tables for two. Food was delivered quickly, was hot and tasty. Server 'Sven' was friendly and personable. We will definitely be back. Schnitzel was fantastic! We didn't notice at the time but there was a "special" they have (eat in only...sign on tables) we will get next time. Do yourself a favor and try this place you won't be sorry. read more

First time trying this small restaurant which is located next to a BP STATION/Convenience Store. Upon entering we were greeted by the lone server and seated immediately (there were only two others eating in the restaurant while we were there). She asked what we wanted to drink, they only had two German types of beer and I ordered one of those and my wife ordered a water. We then both ordered their hunter Schnitzel, my wife ordered spaetzle with hers and I had sauerkraut & I also ordered a roll. It didn't take long for us to get our food which actually looked pretty good. The server asked if I wanted her to slice the roll as it was quite unexpectedly large which I agreed to. When we asked for butter for the roll we were told they didn't have any which we thought was odd. The schnitzel and onion gravy while looking good had little to no flavor at all which was disappointing however my kraut was pretty good as was my wife's spaetzle. The best thing we had was the roll that was huge and very soft and probably would have been even better had they had butter for it. Once the food came out the server never returned to check on how the food was or to ask if we needed any more to drink. It's unfortunate that there are only two actual German restaurants in North Florida and we will have to cross this one off our list. read more

Been back a few times and everything I have tried is delicious. Service is also great, very welcoming and attending and live the feel of the restaurant, feels like Germany when you go to the "imbiss". Try a little bit of everything when you go, you wont be disappointed PS. I dont understand the bad reviews but in my opinion when you go to a german place and order ordinary fries instead of getting spätzle or german potato salad, thats on you.
