Very good tavern. Good grub and definitely reasonably priced drinks. Staff is pleasant and engaging. Close to me and I definitely recommended.

Best burger in Manhasset area (from Queens to Jericho). Ignore all the "best burger lists" (pay to play usually) and the clueless grinning content creators (influencing who? lol, beat it kids & take your selfies with you), I proclaim: SBT Burger is the best burger in a 10 mile radius. Period. Great bun, flame grilled perfection, tavern sauce so good no need for ketchup - I skip the pickled green tomato & add an egg over medium to the top. Ditch the lettuce too. Perfect beef to cheddar to bacon ratio. The rich gooey egg catapults it over the top. Every bite a decadent American delight. Add a frosty Wartsteiner on tap & revel in the joy. Bar vibe excellent. Staff friendly. Competent and timely service. Just don't overcrowd my little corner of the bar when I'm looking for my perch. The funny thing is, as great as the burger is, it's not even the best thing on the menu. SBT is a hidden secret door to great food. You're welcome.

SOO, me Cute- E -Bear & I , wish to have a spectacular drink. I live in Manhattan, & lucky him, lives here in Manhassett. We both Nod & know where to go. Cute -e - Bear loves a good MANHATTAN, & I , well, I"ll drink anything. We found parking easily, & there was plenty of good car parks , which IS important. " ADAM, thee Barkeep "was already busy, & he had just opened at 5PM. As always a smile n his face. I had a "Reisling" & it was a beautiful pour, for a good price. Thee ' Manhattan drink" was wonderful, & since I drank a lot of that as well, , we ordered another, & then the food began. Thee chef " Shawn " knows his food. We had octopus salad. Soo tender! PEREFECT!, thee pork dumplings were succulent with real sea weed on the bottom. Thee mussels were outstanding & large , AND thee Special burger , rare. was wonderful. Chips were added , & they were salty, crispy, & I didn't ask for ketchup, & gravy, the " British Way " I like. These were way too good for anything. For desert I had a "WHITE RUSSAN, " & Adam made it with REAL cream . THEE way it's supposed to be made! Thee last time I was there I had the french Onion soup for dessert. DON"T Judge . I've had stranger than that. This is a Cozy, place, Great for romantic dates, & the chairs at thee pub , where I love to sit , were comfortable, which to a lady ( me) who has GREAT taste ( sigh ) it was a pleasure. The lovely waiter Patrick, who really didn't know us , was very pleasant & when we entered was soo friendly. NOW...... about thee people that come here! I LOVE THEM! Quite a few regulars , soo funny, captivating and very friendly and understand British Humour . ( thank you ) . We stayed there for hours watching , chit chatting, ordering more & more, & we stayed for thee warmth of this place. By the way... if you wish to " Hide Away from wife, hubby, work, parole officer, etc THIS is the place to go. No-one can see through the WINDOWS! brilliant! BRILLIANT! Cheers all. Schout Bay Tavern was a pleasant surprise! How great to know that such good American food exists right around the corner from my house. The service was sophisticated and made me feel like I was in the city. Atmosphere was cool. It's dark, spacious, and has both tables and bar stools. It's a bar for older people though, so don't expect it to be poppin with 20-somethings. Lots of cougars! We ordered the fish tacos and the Aussie lamb skewers. Everything were great. The fish tacos were just small filet of fried fish (cod, I think), and didn't have much more in them besides that, but left me satisfied. The lamb skewers were lovely. However, the portion was a bit small for the price. Go with a date or with your family. Homey little gem in Manhasset. I wanna check it out for brunch!

The food is consistently good with a friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere! They make the environment safe for social distancing!

The total amount of Andouille sausage in the rice and beans. I find this insulting. You could fit all of that on a $.25 quarter.

It's a lovely place very vibrant great service and delicious food everyone loved what they ordered!! I suggest reservations there's a lot going on they have an area with live music a very lively bar scene perfect for Friday night or date night ! We were seated in a large room filled with friendly people and servers our waiter Mike was wonderful ( table 206) on a busy Friday at 8:30pm! I had a expresso martini with Bailey 's and my son had the red sangria and a Shirley Temple for the the teen granddaughter all drinks were great ! Appetizers were crispy calamari ( so crispy) Wagyu meatballs,General Harry's cauliflower (honey glazed ) it was good and I'm not a fan of cauliflower ! I had the braised short rib with mashed potatoes sooo tender and creamy whipped fresh potatoes , granddaughter had the Double Berkshire pork chop ( big and juicy tender chop) with mashed sweet potato's my son had Le Poulet cajun chicken with hand cut large fries delicious !! Apple crumble Dessert & vanilla ice cream had to be taken home along with 4 other bags ! They have a lobster fest now & also sushi so we will be going there often it's in Floral Park Queens very convenient and a parking lot too across from the side of the building NOT the lot across from the restaurant entrance ! Reservations are highly recommended. A lot of my mom friends rave about this place and I got to dine here twice with them, once for brunch and the other for dinner. The first time I came here was with my child for brunch. I got a mocktail and we ordered chicken and waffles along the unadvertised kids menu containing chicken fingers and fries. Portions for both dishes were generous and took home the leftovers. We also shared the Brussels sprouts and the infamois complimentary bread, which were really good. The second and most recent time we went was for dinner with the a huge group of moms. We shared the Caesar salad, Brussels sprouts, and general two's cauliflower, which was amazing. I had the red sangria and a taste of the Huckleberry lemonade, drinks were strong. For the entrees I ordered the salmon and once again portion was huge, took it home and the hubby ate the leftovers. Other moms ordered the frose, spicy paloma, le poulet and spicy Rigatoni. At the end we had key lime pie which tasted great but I was too full to finish it. I'll be coming to this spot more often because of great company and food!

Since we were dining in, they gave us a table number and we placed it in the holder so staff know where to bring the food. Our order didn't take very long to arrive to our table, just about 10 minutes. After finishing your meal, you bus your own table. The menu has options for burgers, hot dogs, fries, salads, shakes, floats, and desserts. I ordered a Yellow Label Burger ($13.45) and a Strawberry shake ($6.75). My husband and I shared a Farm Salad ($9.75). The Yellow Label Burger comprises of USDA Prime Beef, homemade fried mac n cheese patty, lettuce, tomato on a potato bun. This was delicious! I liked how after biting into the crispy, breaded exterior it gives way to a hot, molten cheese center that oozes perfectly over beef. The Farm Salad which consisted of spring mix, tomato, blue cheese crumbles, sliced almonds, dried cranberries, and raspberry vinaigrette on the side was also very very very tasty, fresh, and a good portion. The strawberry shake was also very good and had pieces of strawberries. Black Label Burgers pride on only using USDA Prime Angus beef that comes from a single source, Double R Ranch, located in Washington State, a family-owned farm known for its responsible practices and superior beef. You can definitely taste the richness and juiciness of the beef. My husband had the Red Label Burger ($13.25) and the PB&J shake ($7.75). He really enjoyed his meal as well. I really liked the inside decor and the laid back vibes. Black Label Burgers is great for a quick lunch, a night out with friends, or a family dinner. I am looking forward to my next visit.

I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and the place was busy, always a good sign. I liked the local (Long Island) themed decor, friendly service, spacious parking lot, wide variety of self-serve beverages (tangy lemonade - yay!) and nicely padded booths. Definitely a cut above competitors like Shake Shack in that regard. I chose the signature black label burger made with dry aged beef and regular fries. While the hand cut fries were wonderfully crispy and flavorful, the burger was kind of disappointing - not terrible, but the bun tasted stale and the meat was very bland. Also I ordered the burger cooked medium but it came out pink in the center, not my preference for chopped meat. Maybe I ordered the wrong item? I plan to try other menu items in the future to see if they hit my taste buds differently.

I think it would've tasted better with spinach. - Strawberry Cheesecake (4/5) this was surprisingly very light for a cheesecake, we ended up finishing all of it, and the whipped cream was really good. You can definitely tell how fresh the seafood is and that stayed true for the rest of our meal. For pastas, we got the spaghetti fra diavolo containing lobster and shrimp. Again, the seafood was fresh, sweet, and tender. The pasta was also a shocker, not only was it perfectly firm, it had such a nice chewy texture. You can feel and taste how homemade the pasta is. Next, the rigatoni eggplant was our unexpected favorite. The pasta texture was even better with the rigatoni shape and the eggplant was not even noticeable, it blended in so well with the sauce.
