First, kudos to the owner and staff for being so organized. Once people are seated, and you can tell that all the servers and bus persons are all helping each other. It makes for an efficient, but not rushed, pleasant experience. All dining is outside, but they are making the most of their available space, all tables had umbrellas. I love going out to breakfast while on vacation, and this was the best one of the week. It was also my first time eating there. They are open for breakfast and lunch. The menu had so many options, and for my friend on a limited diet, there is a "healthier choice" section. I can't imagine not finding something to eat on the breakfast menu. Regrettably, I didn't take pictures of the food, but at one point everyone at the table was quiet, no talking, just eating which to me is a good sign. Our table had omlettes (many kinds available, or build your own). I had a combination breakfast which was perfect since I couldn't decide between eggs, sausage, or french toast. Totally delicious. Had breakfast here yesterday and dinner tonight. Nothing is bad. The portions are large and everything is fresh. I had the crab cake which was ALL crabmeat. I could not finish one. My friend had the flounder and enjoyed it too. Took pumpkin bread pudding back to the motel because we were too full to eat it there. The order for 12 was ready in 30 minutes, during the busy diner rush - again, great service. Food was good, and a good value, and was enjoyed by all 12 people. 4 stars because the food was very good. We decided to take a girls trip on a dreary day. EVERYONE tells me when in Surf City, Scojo's is a must. We drove down from Lavallette, and immediately fell in love with this restaurant. A fabulous menu with many choices. When your a Jersey Girl and you now live on the West Coast, there was no question that I needed a pork roll egg sandwich. My wife and I enjoy dinner at school Joe's tonight I really enjoyed the homemade squash soup and I had the short rib lasagna which was off the charts my wife enjoy the fish and chips which was served with some excellent french fries and great coleslaw I had the banana cream pie for dessert my wife enjoyed the cannoli bread putting the food was excellent service was great and it was recently remodeled looks beautiful will be back for sure read more

Scojo's serves breakfast , lunch and dinner and while I'm sure their lunches and dinners are very good, we have only been there for breakfast and no one on LBI serves a better breakfast. Family friendly restaurant. Great big menu for all three meals. BUT, the early bird special from 2:00-6:00 EVERYDAY ALL YEAR LONG is the best deal in town. I remember going to Scojo's all the time when we had our house in Surf City. My family and I would go there right when we arrived for our week of vacation every summer. The food was always delicious, great breakfast! They were always able to seat our huge family too, so the service was also great. We moved years ago to another house in Beach Haven, so we don't really go to Scojo's anymore. However, this place always brings back many great memories :) read more
