I came here for the first time a couple weeks ago on a day trip to Richmond. Customer service was great, they were very nice and welcoming! I sampled the banana pudding ice cream and loved it (I think their flavors rotate so they might not have it right now). It tasted just like the real thing. I ended up getting a banana pudding milkshake (less mess for the road), with peanut butter drizzle. Finally stopped in for a scoop (literally) of the coconut flavored ice cream complimented by one of those adorable mini pink macarons! There are a good amount of flavors offered at the shop. My friend tried out the flight of ice cream each served with a cookie on top. Price wise they are pretty fair! Although seating was limited we lucked out and stopped in on a Sunday so it wasn't packed. i had a poor experience with an employee on 4/22 at 9pm. i've literally only left one negative review before in my life so i never do this. she was tall, dirty blonde long hair in a ponytail, in a tan hat with a navy brim. she was rude and short to me and my friends, and we went for my partners birthday. every other time i have gone to get a single scoop in a waffle cone, my cone is filled to the top and there is ice cream in the bottom. my cone was over an inch empty at the top and i'd argue 2 inches empty at the bottom. i'm literally holding onto the leftover of my cone to put my own ice cream in, that's how much empty cone i had left. meanwhile everyone else i saw getting waffle cones was getting there's filled as usual. i don't know why i got skimped out when i paid the same price as everyone else. very disappointing. the part of my cone in the picture is literally bone dry because there was no ice cream even touching it. read more

I struggle with this review. They do a flight of ice cream which is fun and a good way to sample all their fun flavors and each scoop gets a cookie slice on top (did I mention I literally live for those Whisk cookies). The "salted" flavor also gave the ice cream a twist compared to other places that only serve peanut flavored ice cream. I also tried some of the other flavors but this one still stood out to me! While the servers were nice, they didn't seem too enthusiastic about being there and gave me a very "passive" vibe. On the other hand, the aesthetics was quite nice: white-colored background with light pink accents, a neon light against a brick wall, and rose gold bar tables. They have a good amount of flavors, something for everyone. They also let you try flavors if you are uncertain about something. I got two double scoops (medium scoop size) with a cone and a cute mini macaroon! The cone was nothing to rave about, however they ice cream was refreshing after a 20 minute walk! Brown Sugar Cookie Dough and Triple Chocolate was my combo. I wish I didn't get the triple chocolate, it tasted more of a bitter dark chocolate than a combination of chocolates. Thumbs up for the Brown Sugar Cookie Dough! It was the highlight of my evening. The ice cream was creamy, flavors popped, the dough wasn't stone hard. It was just done correctly and I wouldn't hesitate to get it again. The mini macaroon can be eaten in one bite. I was sad that I ate it so quick, it was such a cute little ice cream topping. I'm not sure what to say other than they have some really good ice cream. I came on a whim, because I was looking to try a new place outside the normal Richmond staples. Let me preface this and tell you, parking can be a challenge. I think I had to drive around the block twice to find parking that wasn't too far from the shop. Now on to the ice cream.... I ended up getting a scoop of roasted strawberry, and let me tell you, IT WAS GEWWWDDD. It was creamy, and had the perfect balance of strawberry with just a bit more depth of flavor than your normal run of the mill strawberry. I opted for a waffle cone cause why not, right?! Also, I couldn't resist getting the cutest little mini mac to top it off. While it did end up being the price of a half-gallon at the grocery store, I think it is worth the splurge every once in a while for some quality ice cream. Another of my Yelp! finds this week is this quaint little Ice Cream Shops. This shop is located on a small street lined with other cute little "HIPSTER" style shops and even a market. Just the other day my friend and I went to another iced cream shop named Charm School now that ship as soon as you walk in the door smells AMAZING like waffle cones just baked out of the oven!!! This shop has an Instagram worthy visual appeal! With their neon (my favourite lighting) sign that you can easily picture yourself in front of with your sweet treat of choice from their shop. The shops caretakers seemed to be very friendly and helpful with sunny dispositions and willing for you to sample various iced cream flavors! They totally set the tone of the shop! I tried 4 different flavors S'mores, Cream Brûlée, Brown Sugar something and another flavor...I went with the Cream Brûlée! I also went with the colorful options of sprinkles and a mini vanilla macaroon on a Waffle Cone ! Oh my goodness the flavors were delicious! Sweet but not cloyingly sweet...the bits of crunchy toasted Sugar gave the creamy sweet flavor a nice little detour of texture with the crunch of an official dish of Cream Brûlée!!!! DELIGHTFUL!! This busy bustling shop is definitely a DO AGAIN flavor pit stop for me before I leave town, a lovely visit here to Richmond, Virginia.
