Surprisingly this is no West Allis dive bar and it's pretty nice compared to the local competition was my first impression, hell even the mens room was probably the nicest for a West Allis local bar I thought with wood floors, clean looking and modern. It's the typical local bar with flat screens, games, music, taps etc etc. Josh was the bartender and he was very friendly and he did an outstanding job at being the face of the business. Surprisingly josh is one of the few bartenders in probably a 100 plus bars and restaurants who knew what a Gin Rickey is and as always anyone who knows how to make one with out asking how to I buy them a drink which he accepted. Overall it's a nice addition to the area and in now way like the old school dinosaur bars that line NationalAve.

This is a large location with plenty of space for a big crowd. The bar itself is long and the location has dozens of tables and chairs for seating. Being a sports bar, the location has a lot of TV's that can be seen anywhere in the space. Happy hour everyday with drink AND food specials. My husband ordered a beer and the guacamole burger and I ordered the souvlaki. The beer was fine and while the burger was not the best, it was decent. The guacamole was little bit off, but at least it was a good sized portion. When the souvlaki came out, I noticed it was missing the Greek salad. When I pointed this out to the server, she told me that it did not come with the salad. I politely corrected her and told her that's what the menu stated so I should get my salad because that's what was advertised. She informed me that's not correct. So, I ate the souvlaki. It was okay, a little dry and the rice tasted like instant rice with lots of oil. I looked at the menu later and it did come with salad. It Is disappointing that the server did not believe me and was not informed about the menu. I was still charged full price for my meal despite her never bringing me my salad. I felt that was unfair. I hope that in the future they can improve this place.

The place has dedicated parking and street parking so that's easy. The place is your typical dive bar with a long bar and hi tables around it with tons of TVs. The bartender was friendly and didn't know what a gin Rickey was and I have yet to find one who does. It's clearly a neighborhood bar where people know each other and kept to them self but they didn't make the outsider feel out of place. I got there at lunch time and the place was empty but people started coming in. They don't have a kitchen but frozen pizza is as good as it gets and I was not interested in a frozen pizza. I ordered a gin with soda water and lime juice and to my surprise I got fresh squeezed lime juice which I wasn't expecting from a dive bar. Today was that day and dam still packed but one stool at the bar was open so I'm finally in for a beer and burger lunch. With very little pictures of the place they needed a Steve stop by just to get some photo exposure and one picture of food on yelp is not good. The place is your type Wi dive bar where everyone is welcoming and friendly. The taps were all domestic I'm sorry to say and that's as good as it gets even in bottles. The place is small with a small bar on one side and a room next to it that looked like a small dining area. The menu is small and I will post pictures but Tuesday when I was there they had a $2.25 cheeseburger special which is very reasonable. I opted for a bottle of point beer because the taps didn't interest me. I ordered the cheeseburger with ketchup, mustard and raw onions not expecting much for the price and I was surprised to see that it's not on a bun but a hoagie style bread. WOW it's charbroiled on a buttery toasted bread with nice grill marks. The cheeseburger was very simple and tasty with a good grill flavor on fresh bread and a pickle spear on the side. WOW this place is very reasonable because even with a 50% tip my beer and cheeseburger was under $8 and the cheeseburger was good.
