While waiting to pick up our truck at Gordie Boucher, my husband and I stopped in here for lunch. The U-shaped bar was pretty full by noon, but we found two seats near the video gambling. My husband got the chicken tenders, and I ordered the chicken ranch wrap in a spinach wrap. Unfortunately, they were out of spinach, so the bartender ordered me the plain because she advised that the tomato was not very flavorful. The wrap was delicious and nicely sized, albeit a little salty. My side of sweet potato fries were very good. No ketchup needed. The service at this bar is awful wait forever for service. Ordered shrimp got no silverware, napkins, shrimp sauce etc. Bartenders can't make drinks and have attitudes. Food - I've tried several items - perch, baked cod, beer battered and Sicilian Cod AND lastly the beer battered egg plant. All meals were fantastic. Oh and the potato pancakes and waffle fries - love them. They have a nice creamy cole slaw as well to go along with the meals. Atmosphere - This ain't no fancy bistro, this is your vinyl seat, towny regular, you're going to smell like fried food kind of place - leave your Sunday best at home y'all! We got darts and NASCAR though! Value - every meal is HUGE for around $10-15. Totally worth it! Service - friendly, not the most attentive, but the food is worth it! Stopped in for the first time on 12 March, as this place has been on my list try and I am glad I did. I grabbed a seat at the bar, ordered a beer and scanned over the menu, but decided on their lunch special for the day. Their special was a crispy garlic chicken sandwich with fries, chips or waffle fries. I would have upgraded to haystack onion rings, but I wasn't aware that I could for the special. Anyway, the crispy garlic chicken patty was fried just right and tossed in their garlic parmesan sauce - in house made. It is the same sauce that their wings are tossed in, delicious! I am not a usual fan of parmesan garlic, but this was super good. Also, the fries were nice and crunchy, and I paired them with a side of blue cheese dressing, I know, weird but a childhood favorite. This a local tavern and grill that draws its regular customers, this I could tell almost right away but that is not a bad thing, it just means they have decent service and food. If you're not one of their regulars, don't expect to get prompt service here. My wife and I went to Sportz Pub and Grill for the first time this weekend (around 7pm) to get some dinner and watch a Bucks game. We sat at the bar and it took about 10 minutes for a bartender to come over to us (both of the bartenders were just talking casually to a few regulars the whole time). After we got the drinks, we asked for menus to order dinner and they brought 2 over. As we sat at the bar we saw 4-5 of the tables come to the bar to pay their bills, visibly upset with their service as well. We sat with the menus in front of us for 30 more minutes before anyone came back to take our order. We were fed up with the service by this point and asked for our bill. I would not recommend going to Sportz unless you're with some of the regulars they seem to only serve. read more

Wings are awesome and are the largest and meatiest around. They get a 5 star rating. Nightly food specials are affordable and quality. Mixed drinks are weak and over priced. Big menu with above average bar food. Really like the fries and loaded tots with bacon. Egg plant is off the charts. Better than Summerfest. Word is the burgers are awesome but I haven't tried. Pizza is ok. A note to the owners - you are a sports bar so please train your staff to know when the local sports teams are playing so we don't have to ask for a channel change every time. We noticed it was Wing Wednesday tonight ($.50 Wings) so i went with that, they have a minimum of 5 wings per sauce. So i got the Parmesan Garlic, Buffalo, and the Daily special Jack Danial's BBQ. We also got a thing of the wonton wrapped Mozzarella sticks, those were awesome one of the best mozzarella sticks I've had. . My fiance ordered a southwest ranch chicken wrap and she really enjoyed that. My wings were quite large, and the wing themselves were big and juicy. The Buffalo sauce tasted much better than your typical Buffalo in a bottle sauce that most places use. The Parm Garlic was good as well. And the Jack Danial's BBQ Was VERY good, different but good! You have been warned, Worst service ever and that is being kind,, this has been a constant problem with Sportz Pub,, I have not been here since about a year ago and nothing has changed, the service is so bad that they pretty much ignore you,, now tonight, I give credit to the bartender, she did her best,, but my gosh the servers were so bad, so neglectful, I wonder if it is a prerequisite to be a server at the Sportz Pub that you are, slow, ignore customers, get confrontational, tell customers what to do,, and it is every one else's fault but the service. We had a party of 6, stopped in after attending our sons Miracle League baseball game,, got there about 6:40,,, it was busy,, but still plenty of tables outside and in,, I and another in our party put two tables together to accommodate our party of 6,, not once in the initial 10 minutes that we arrived did a server come over and take a drink order,, not only that,, I took it upon myself to go to the bar get our drink order,, then after getting the " I would have gotten to you" attitude, I ended up 5 minutes later, getting up, and getting menus, then I went and got place settings, napkins, cutlery, etc, as in the now 25 minutes we had been there,, I SERVED OUR OWN PARTY OF 6 AND SET THE TABLES,,, although our server was taking her time outside making sure the other customers got to see her tattoo, or tattoo's must have gotten a new one,, I don't know. The frustration level at Sprotz Pub is felt by all, the service is reprehensible, She finally comes over to us,, after we had to flag her down and this was at 7:10,,, 30 minutes later!!! She finally takes our order, two large pizza's and 3 beers,, this was (at 7:13 more on that time later) by 7:45 we started getting the what is going on? where is our food? did she even put the order in? 7:50 still no food, and no longer busy might I add,, she so ignored us it was as if that was her job, don't serve a table or check on the Customer,, ignore them.. so finally at 7:55 our party decides to just pay for the 3 beers and lets go to McDonald's now as it has been 40 minutes and nothing, not even a "i'm sorry let me check on your order" or "would you care for some more drinks" or "i'm terribly sorry your order is taking so long, let me check on it,, no,, we were as I call it the Sportz Pub Snub,, from 7:13 until we finally got up to leave at 8:00 we were IGNORED. I went to the bar to pay for the beers and advise we are leaving when suddenly we are told our order is up,, so we go back (never should have) and sat down,, IT gets really good,, She gets all confrontational and in our faces about how this is our fault and that we should have made reservations?!?!?!? WHAT??? reservations for what? there was no waiting and what good would reservations have done? I need to call ahead to to have reprehensible service,, I can't even call it that,, WE HAD NO SERVICE, other than the Pizza order taking she did nothing,, except show off her Tat's to outside customers,, Then,, oh not done,, some other lady appears from the kitchen,, and starts confronting us?!?!?! again how this is our fault,, I know hard to believe but I know plenty of Sportz Pub customers know exactly what i'm talking about,, the service is the worst anywhere ever. Oh, and you can see the pictures, she brought out our pizza's with a napkin as some sort of hot pad,, underneath the pizza!!! what kinda double contamination is this?? Trust me Sportz Pub, this is going to straight to the health board. And to top it off,, our pizza's were cold!!! COLD,, which means they had been sitting there done for what 10-15 minutes!!! The Server and the other server or kitchen worker then proceed to get all confrontational over " your order was placed at 7:13" I know,, It's Freak'n 8:00pm?!?!?! 45 minutes and no food, until we get up to leave? And this is our fault?!?!?! I will never go again,, I have gone here 4 times now too many,, and just can't take it,, worst service ever,, always that is the consistency is the Service is sooooo bad,, Last time i was in there the Menomonee Falls Police were in demanding the bartender show them her bartender license,, which she could not produce as she didn't have one!! Wow, the fish fry is so good! $9.95 for cod. $12.95 for perch. Both were delicious, tender, and moist. I always judge a fish fry place by the potato pancakes and these were great. They were obviously made here; not those pre-shaped pseudo hash browns some places serve. Place is a typical sports bar; 7 big screens in the main dining area, which is not huge. Despite that, it wasn't too loud.we could talk across the table without shouting. Will be back for sure. read more

Tried this place out for wings on a Monday night. They were good, and the bartender was attentive and friendly. However it was pretty clear that some of the drunken regulars were not happy seeing new faces in "their bar." After racking up a fat bar tab and eating apps, well after halftime of the game we were there to watch, we were told that a 30 person party was coming and we have to move. After politely asking to stay at the table we were at die to the location of the tv and the fact we had been there... The "owner" came over and proceeded to argue with is saying we "wouldn't cooperate" and were rude to her employees. One of the worst restaurant experiences of my life. Went to celebrate my stepdad's birthday. We has 5 people in our party. There was football on TV. Staff / owner got into a fight with patrons as they asked them to move so they could set up a large group (the place is small). Literal argument. The people were upset because they had bought lots of drinks and food and were watching a specific game they could not see from the alternate location. OK, that's forgivable. What is NOT is that my husband's food NEVER came and NO ONE bothered to check (owner took our order, too!) to see if we needed anything. No one NOTICED that he never got anything to eat? He was waiting to see how long it would take for them to notice. The answer was that they were NEVER going to notice. I finally told them that we were done and he never got his food. They then said he must not have ordered. I specifically said "she repeated back that he wanted cheddar cheese on his burger med well and I heard him order it". No apology. Just walked over to talk to owner and they stared at us whispering. I don't believe our drinks came either, but we just let it go. So after the complaint, we waited another 20 min for someone to bring the check. Nope, wasn't going to happen. Just was awkward with the loud fighting two tables away with the football watchers and us (only two occupied tables) and they just left and said they didn't want to pay for their drinks, etc. I finally said "WE WANT TO LEAVE, PLEASE LET ME PAY YOU" and they said "No, just leave, it's on the house." So we did. The prime rib was old and tough and weird with too many canned mushrooms and weird salty sauce you could barely eat it was so salty. No one seemed to care AT ALL about the patrons.
