On the morning of our appointment their sales agent, Shelby, called to confirm but I was unable to answer. Almost immediately, Shelby then called relatives (outside of our household) and shared personal information we had provided while asking questions about my needs. Because of the individual called, this created quite a bit of chaos and an extremely uncomfortable and awkward situation for our family. I explained to Shelby that I wanted to cancel my appointment and to please delete my contact information - that I would never purchase from them due to what I considered to be predatory and aggressive sales practices... essentially trying to get information from a relative in order to have more information about my disability and needs before the sales appointment -- while informing that relative of our plans to purchase, as well. I said clearly and directly that I did not want to be contacted by Mobility Works again. That I would go without rather than purchasing anything from them again - at all. She said she would remove the numbers from her database. Despite the assurance of no further contact, a short while later, their General Manager, Jim O'Mara, called... trying to smooth things over but yet being insulting and sarcastic in the process. For example, when I stated I did not give them those numbers, he replied that they did not get them from "outer space." It's clear from another review further down the page here that this is not an isolated incident but rather business as usual from them. When I first filled out their form online, a corporate representative (Illinois number) immediately called me about trading in my 2010 vehicle - something I had not entered on the website form or mentioned in conversation. I thought nothing about it at the time - strange, but assumed they had confused me with another customer. After today's interaction, it's quite clear that they use databases from other sources. I find it extremely concerning and discouraging that a business would not only do this - but would do this with a client base that is primarily disabled.

It took them 3 weeks to let me know it didn't fit the 2nd car and to make things worse they did it wrong. Found a new place to have it redone. They acted like they where doing me a favor like no I paid for a service and they failed to complete it. Jim Omeara is the manager there and you can tell the toxic work environment from a mile away. Stay clear from this place. When things goes wrong they bounce the blame on each other and when that doesn't work they hang up on you. I saw a couple red flags that I ignore: Never spoke to a mechanic if the job was possible. They have shock pictures actor being disable(they don't care about real people) Paying for a deposit when you already have my car. Isn't the car worth more Am out $2,166 because of their incompetence. They should told me they couldn't do it.

Called 5 other firms before I found Mobility ASAP, all the others had waiting periods from 3 days to 2 weeks. Hey, folks, this was an emergency! Mobility came out that afternoon, and rental stairlift was installed next day. Everyone was very professional, and installer cleaned up and then spent all time necessary to show me how to use the lift. Recieved a follow up call the next morning. Class outfit. She was wrong, in fact the only place that physically had the masks in the DMV area that I could find was this location. Of course there are plenty of online vendors but I needed the mask yesterday. I am able to leave work early but the internet says the wharehouse location is open until 7pm. I get there at 5pm when they actually close. The two employees see me in the parking lot and ask why I am there. I tell them my story, the woman remembers I had called earlier. The two agree to reopen the store, we wait for the alarm which has to be reset and they get me the pediatric mask with one to spare, just in case. I am so grateful. I did thank them but wanted to also let others know of the kindness and generocity of spirit they have in their staff. Good job, I will be a returning customer. To assist with mobility, a friend had suggested we rent scooters rather than relying on the wheelchairs that might or might not be available at the various museums. We called Karters and they said they would deliver the scooters wherever we wanted and at whatever time! Everything was confirmed via email and they more than delivered on their promise! We changed our time (perhaps twice) and Karters was flexible and fully accomodating. Tony met us on time at our selected museum and gave a quick tutorial (the seniors had never used a scooter) on the spot. The scooters were fresh, clean and ready to roll. By the end of the day, the seniors so much enjoyed the freedom and comfort provided by the scooters that they decided they wanted them a 2nd day! We called and scheduled and did everything again day two - even riding the mall that day! (Of course we changed the pick up time 2 or 3 times.) Karters NEVER said "no" to any of our requests and served us like they were taking care of family members. Because of the ease of our visit, the seniors have agreed that we can and should do it all over again! I really cannot fully express how pleased I am with this company.

They were professional, empathetic, friendly, reasonable, and responsive. They were willing to accommodate our timeframe and work with us. When we had a snafu in DC due to extreme temperatures causing the scooter to shut down, they were willing to drive to us to replace it (but thankfully it didn't come to that, thanks to giving the scooter a chance to cool down and utilizing the reset button. Been going here for years for little things like tire patching and rotations. I'm always in and…read moreout, on average 15 min. I live in Cheverly so they are VERY close. Once I asked about an oil change for my Nissan Rogue and was quoted a crazy amount so don't my oil changes there. Another time my brother went there to get a tired patched. It was in the side wall and they said they do not recommend patching it, but patched it anyway any my bother just kept the donut on and got a new tier so was a waste on money. I was not there so don't know how the transaction went down but my brother wasn't happy. Also, only a few of them speak English and they are a little hard to understand at times.
