The staff is super friendly and they work fast to keep the line moving. The double drivethru is really helpful on busy mornings. The lattes are always really good, I like getting half sweet. The cold brew is very inconsistent. Some days it is very sour. The amount of milk in the cold brew is also very inconsistent. Overall, this is still my go to coffee place! read more

The service was so very friendly and pretty quick and the coffee is good-not great- but the food is horrendous. It's worse than the Starbucks microwave food. Paid $5 or whatever for a bacon and egg ciabatta and it had the single saddest piece of bacon and it looked like half the bottom bun had been cut off. It's a good drive through coffee shop. I don't like that I have to order from the window--i normally don't know what I want so I rely heavily on the menu. Im the type that pulls up to window and forgets my order. I don't go there enough to know specifically what I want. The staff are always friendly, quick, and consistent. No matter the time, Scooter's is always good. I like their coffee more than Starbucks for sure! Every employee we've encountered here has had a smile on their face and is willing to help with any questions we've had. I also like how quick it is being only a drive through. It's also nice that you can approach the building from either side depending on which street you're coming off of, and they have a window on each side. read more

The employee was so very nice which is why I gave it 3 stars. I got a sausage English muffin sandwich but unfortunately it wasn't heated up enough so the middle was cold, and they didn't have regular mocha but told me the sugar free mocha was almost the same but I don't think it is--it definitely tasted off! I'll give this a solid 3, because of the awesome customer service I always get! The coffee lacks strength, lattes taste like the milk and flavorings used - but no coffee used. Their cinnamon rolls at this location are heavenly, ask for them warmed and forget all about that weak coffee. The teas are great, and smoothies a good staple. read more

Long stressful day called for a comfort food. I stopped by Scooter's to try the cinnamon roll. Really really good. The cinnamon roll itself rivals Cinnabon, especially the gooey cinnamon brown sugar deliciousness filling, but not enough icing for my taste. If I go back, I'll ask for extra icing. I had it warmed up and it was perfect. Highly recommend stopping by Scooter's for a treat. read more

Service was good but I was super disappointed they were out of coldbrew. I ended up ordering an ice mocha which was good but nothing out of this world. They also don't do single shots for those of us who are sensitive to caffeine, you can only order 3 shots at a time. Honestly, I prefer another chain over this one. read more

I LOVE SCOOTERS !!! And, So Does My Lil Doglette ! I get my coffee here daily before work. I used to go to Starbucks until I drove off with watered down mocha latte, one too many times. I gave Scooters a whirl as it is close to my job. Im SOLD ! Not, Only is my mocha ALWAYS on Point.... But, So is the AWESOME customer svc. I receive here !! This place is conveniently located right outside of base and has to drive thrus. That's about where the positives end for me. Their iced coffee looks like tea and taste about the same. Their coffee drinks are insanely overpriced and just mediocre. I generally prefer smaller coffee shops over the big ones and while I know this is a chain, it's a smaller chain so I really wanted to like it. However, I will not be back. read more

Ah, a friendly, drive-thru coffee place. I've been looking for a place like this since moving to the area. I can't attest to the coffee since I haven't ordered that here, but I have been happy with their espresso drinks the handful of times I've been here. I especially like their blended drinks. The espresso and flavorings are always perfect--not too strong, not too sweet, and always hits the spot, like a delicious coffee milkshake rather than the sometimes chunky and icy versions that I get at certain big coffee chains. Service is always fast and friendly. They're ready with suggestions and conversation (if wanted) and make the drinks quickly. I have to knock out one star, though, because a few minor service mistakes--one time they forgot to give me a muffin that I had ordered and I had already driven away by the time I realized this and another time I ordered a Caramel Silk blended coffee that calls for caramel whipped cream, and by the time they had already made it and handed it to me I was told they had run out of whipped cream. No biggie, but if an essential ingredient of an item is out I'd like to know. Otherwise, Scooter's is great. This is my go-to coffee place when I'm in Leavenworth or on my way to Kansas City from Atchison. read more

Better than Starbucks, not as good as Dutch Brothers. It works in a pinch though, and really wasn't all that bad so I can recommend it if you're in the neighborhood and need some iced coffee. read more

The best frozen coffee around! The workers are really nice most of the time, the only thing i wish they'd do different is making sure the iced coffee is actually cold before handing it to the customer. They usually just dump ice into hot coffee. read more

I stopped in today for an iced latte. I've been to Scooters before. I love it's location right by the bridge. Always have had a good experience. Today's drink was exceptional though! Freshly brewed espresso, rich creamy milk, shook over ice to simple bliss. The girls working were cheerful & sweet. I'll be back! I typically feel coffee is a bit overpriced, but I'm an addict & buy one more often than I'd like to admit. This one was worth every cent of $4! read more

Twice now within a month hours read open and it's closed. Maybe hire people able to make it on time to work. Otherwise coffee is decent and pastries are adequate. If daylight doughnuts served better coffee or the price chopper didn't have flies in the doughnut case I would not return. read more

Third time going here and the first two times, we ordered chai lattes. I felt like mine was watered down and I couldn't even finish it because of the lack of flavor. Today, I ordered an iced carmelicious and it was very good. It reminded me of a version of a caramel machiatto from Starbucks. I also ordered a warmed blueberry muffin and when I got it, I realized that it wasn't warm, but actually ice cold like it just came from the fridge! I've heard a lot people mention it on the base so I have it a try. I ordered something that no one could mess up... hot chocolate. While waiting I couldn't help but notice how unclean it looked on the inside. Crumbs scattered under the pastry platter. And a dead fly next to it. The water hose looked like water it was eroding. And I kept thinking "when was the last time a health inspector has been to this place"? This will be my last time going ... the hot chocolate was ok. read more

I will preface this by saying that this is about the Scooter's in Mosaic Lifecare St.Joseph MO, but they have no yelp page (cowards.) I would first like to note that the barista I got was not only disrespectful but didn't know how to make my drink. I don't know her name, but she looked like a bitch. It was early morning around 7:45 maybe eight, I'm a nurse so I was getting ready for a shift. I'm a regular there, and I used to see this one barista who was amazing, but she left. I miss her. After I ordered my drink (which took five minutes, might I add.) I ordered a carmelicious blender with almond milk instead of normal milk, because I'm lactose intolerant. It's not even funny, it's so bad that I always mention it TWICE to my barista. It did not have almond milk, and thankfully I noticed after the first sip, but she rolled her eyes and sighed when I asked her to make it. Unrelated, but she also looked very unprofessional. I get it's a coffee shop, but when there are stains ALL over your clothes, it's just sad. After I got my second drink, which was finally right she failed to acknowledge me afterwards. I went to work in a horrible mood. I get people have bad days, but this was absurd. I'd also like to mention, that this has not been my only bad experience with this particular barista. read more

First off, I love their Carmelicious, blended, iced or hot, is amazing. If you want an iced coffee, it's pretty much hit or miss, you're better off just missing altogether. They are not consistent in making coffee, sometimes it's been good but others it's been terrible. If you tell them to sweeten it, they add sugar packets, and to top it off they add water! Yes, water. Disappointing, they could have potential but just go to Starbucks, at least they're consistent. read more

No thanks. Couldn't get past the bad attitude of the girl at the window to even want to like my drink. I just had a tea and asked for flavor options. She acted like it was unheard of but did ask the other girl for options. The girl at the window finished making my tea and served it to me before the other girl even finished providing the choices. I just took it and left because she seemed too bothered to entertain my "crazy" request. Guess I'm just used to the great service at Dutch Bro's. What a let down Scooter's is. When you don't have competition it's a little easier to be mediocre. read more

For the third time and final time I go through the drive thru I ask for a medium pumkin latte they only fill the cup up 1/3 of the way and give me the rest foam! I pay $5 and change for foam basically!! Not worth it! Make your own or make sure they fill your cup up or you are just throwing your money away! They have lost my business for good now!! read more

One of our classmates had been there before and recommended the restaurant based on the food, so we were looking forward to spending our last evening together there. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from start to finish. We arrived around 4 p.m., but most of us did not receive our food until approximately 5 p.m. Even worse, three people in our party did not receive their meals until around 5:30-5:45 p.m. By that point, they simply had their food packaged to go. The service throughout our visit was lacking. Our servers rarely checked on the table, offered beverage refills, or provided any explanation for the significant delays coming from the kitchen. A little communication and attentiveness would have gone a long way. I initially planned to order a main course but couldn't decide what I wanted, so I kept the menu and ordered appetizers while I decided. Unfortunately, our server never returned to ask whether I was ready to order my entrée. Given how long everything else was taking, I eventually took that as a sign that I didn't need to order anything further. What was most disappointing was the apparent lack of management. I don't know what was happening in the kitchen or who was responsible for overseeing the dining room, but neither appeared to be effectively managed during our visit. No one came by to acknowledge the delays, explain what was happening, or check on our group. To make matters worse, the dining room was extremely warm and the air conditioning seemed to be barely working. Even members of the waitstaff serving other tables could be seen fanning themselves across the room. I understand that restaurants can have bad days, staffing issues, or unexpected problems in the kitchen. However, when delays are this significant, communication and attentive service become even more important. This was supposed to be an enjoyable final gathering with my classmates. Unfortunately, the combination of extremely slow food service, lack of communication, inattentive service, and an uncomfortable dining room made the experience memorable for all the wrong reasons. It was my first visit to The Suburban, and unfortunately, it will be my last.

My hubby got chicken fried steak, over easy eggs, hash browns and toast. His food was really good as well. Nothing fancy, just good home style fare. The place was clean and they were pretty busy. The staff were all really friendly as well. When we are in the area again, we would go again.
