Scooters!! One of my favorite local coffee spots. The app is great! The staff are sweet and fun and always great. The coffee is deliciously made. Always looks appetizing and the XL option is insane. Mini donuts are a quick yummy snack. The burrito was the only bad thing I've ordered it was small and not well made. Otherwise I'm a Scooters fan!!

    Maple Vanilla Latte

Environment: Scooter's Coffee is a small drive thru coffee spot. This is very covid friendly for obvious reasons. The location I went to was in Arizona. Considering the heat, picking up coffee via drive thru is very convenient. Drinks: I tried this place during the Fall season. I figured I'd try their seasonal drinks. I ordered the Maple Vanilla Latte. You can definitely taste the sweet flavors. If you don't like sweet coffee, then I wouldn't recommend this. But for my sweet coffee lovers, such as myself, I'd recommend this drink during the season. Though, I felt that I tasted more of the vanilla syrup than maple. I would make some adjustments next time. I rated this drink a 7/10. Staff: I thought my server was very nice. Baristas worked very quick. Throughput was under 2 minutes. Price: $$$ More expensive than average price. I ordered a small size, and it was over $5 already (no tip included).

So I normally go to another small coffee drive thru in the neighborhood, but due to the crazy lines I don't have an hour to wait for coffee... I've passed this small place a few times and never thought much of it 'til I feally needed a pick me up. We pulled in and were the first in line. After exploring the menu I went with a granny Smith red bull infusion and the wife got a peach mango strawberry red bull infusion. Both were really good. It's basically a red bull worth flavors mixed in. The coffee menu was pretty extensive from candy bar flavored blended drinks, fruity smoothies, and coffee classics. They have a variety of breakfast items from burritos, to sandwiches, oatmeal, etc. We've been here a few times and may have found our new regular! Download their app for reward points and ask about the free Frisbee!

    Peanut butter chocolate very good!

I received a gift card and tried this place out. The peanut butter chocolate shake was delicious and the service was fast. Will definitely go again.

    Iced vanilla matcha

Not great coffee. I get an americano and it wasn't very good at all, very mid espresso, not good quality. The matcha was not good ether, i could tell it wasn't authentic matcha, but usually even when a place has trash matcha it is still good, usually filled with sugar. But this matcha wasn't very sweet and just didn't taste good at all. The service was good, it was fast-ish, but its drive thru only. I would only ever go if for some reason I absolutely needed coffee and there was nowhere else to go.

But what really makes this place special is their mission. They hire individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and actively invest in the community -- from vendor markets to hosting events like their upcoming 5K. You can feel that purpose woven into everything they do. We tried one of their themed drink flights (the Sweet Heart menu was adorable -- Love Potion, Love Struck, To The Moon & Back... so cute). The presentation in the little mason jars was fun and picture-worthy. Flavor-wise, they leaned sweeter than my personal preference, but still enjoyable and perfect if you love flavored lattes. They offer plenty of milk options, including non-dairy, which I appreciate. Bakery - vegan and gluten-free options clearly labeled. I grabbed the lemon scone (vegan + GF). It was good! I'm personally more of a vegan-but-not-gluten-free girl, so texture-wise it's not something I'd specifically crave again -- but I absolutely appreciate that they create inclusive options. My friend had the cinnamon roll and was happy. They also have a small retail section with mugs, shirts, local honey, and little gift items, which adds to the community feel. Overall, this isn't a hyper-trendy, third-wave coffee aesthetic spot -- it's something better. It's purpose-driven, inclusive, and clearly loved by the neighborhood. Not a five-star flavor experience for me personally, but an easy four stars for what they stand for and the impact they're making.

Today I walked in and was greeted by Chey. (Hopefully spelled it right) She was so friendly and we got to talk quite a bit. She stated the shop's been here for about a year . I don't know how I missed it, but I'll be back often now that I know. I told her my love of cold brew and she offered me a sample of both their regular and Nitro. She said the Nitro has said to be liked more by their customers. I agree. It was so smooth. The regular had a tiny acidity to it, but not bad. Her customer service was awesome. I ordered one with vanilla cold foam and a tad sf vanilla. They only offer one size in drinks. I also went opposite of my usual and ordered a French Toast shaken espresso iced. It's one of theocmost popular. You only live once and I know I'll be amped all day ha ha. I then ordered an iced vanilla chai to take to my niece. The shop is small but offers a cozy room to chill, a few seats near the register as well as a table and a few seats out front. There is a fuel lot next door to park, but also a couple paved including a handicap accessible spot. All the drinks were so good. I honestly think the shake espresso may be my new favorite drink. I never thought I'd steal away from my cold brew, but it's got me hooked already. Come show them some love. Supporting local is so important and brings so much back to the community.

The country theme was right up my alley and made the whole experience even better! The barista Madeline was the sweetest! She took the time to recommend drinks based on what we liked and completely nailed it -- which isn't easy because my husband and I like totally opposite styles of coffee. I'm more of a coffee-forward person, while he loves the sweeter drinks. Somehow she found the perfect choices for both of us! We loved it so much we came back the very next morning to try something new. Madeline was there again along with two other baristas, and everyone was just as friendly and welcoming. Our second round of recommendations was another win and matched exactly what we were looking for! And it wasn't just the coffee -- we even got our son a strawberry shake and a breakfast wrap, and both were delicious! This place truly had something for all of us. That's how good it was -- we ended up coming back a THIRD time in two days to grab our last coffee fix before heading home. Great coffee, delicious food, amazing atmosphere, and even better people. We'll definitely be back anytime we're in town!

We ordered the ham steak and eggs w/ O'Brien potatoes and toast (see the picture), a side of pancakes, country fried steak and eggs, and a 2-egg breakfast w/sausage and hashbrowns. The ham steak comes with red eye gravy. I didn't know what that was and hated it. So I scraped it off and used their fresh salsas instead, and it was so dang good. The pancakes were also delicious. They were light and fluffy and had a touch of sweetness. I used the strawberry jam from the toast on the pancake and I think it made it even better. The gravy from the chicken fried steak was also a hit! The food was 95% good, but there were a couple of hiccups. The hash browns were burnt darker than dark. I feel like they should've never made it out of the kitchen. Also, the jalapeño cheddar biscuit was very thick and stodgy. I also got a specialty latte (can't remember which) and that was bitter and not at all something I'd get again. To recap: you can't go wrong with the pancakes or chicken fried steak. Make sure to ask for salsa. Skip the latte. Overall the experience was great and I'd go back next time we're in town.
