    French Toast Bites*

A solid spot for brunch! The bottomless food and drink deal is a steal honestly. The eggs Benedict is just okay but definitely don't miss out on the French toast bites. So delicious. And the hashbrowns are perfectly crispy.

This is my second time coming here, the first time was amazing! The mimosas were great, and all of the food was great. This time they change the menu, and the mimosas were more orange juice than champagne. Yes, they were busy, but I can count how many times our server even came over to check on us, let alone refill our drinks. The salad was trash, do not get! The deviled eggs are great! And so are the French toast bites.

Ambience : Cozy, intimate little Italian bistro with both indoor and outdoor seating. It's on a quiet SF street with some street parking right outside which we were able to get easily on a Friday night. Interiors are cute, dimly lit with hand painted maps and wine bottles from the area. They have standard tables, bar seating and coffee tables with couches indoors and outdoors is standard seating. Food : We went for the fixed menu on their 5 day long Valentines Day celebration with live jazz music. What was disappointing was there was no Jazz music as advertised and I was really looking forward to it. The food itself was average - nothing really stood out to me. We got the crudo and crispy cauliflower for appetisers. The crudo was okay, but tasted more like a sashimi coz the citrus flavour was barely there. They had two pieces of Sicilian oranges on 2 of the 10 pieces of crudo. The crispy cauliflower and the dressing was just okay - nothing to write home about. For the second course/mains, we got a lasagna and lobster ravioli. My husband liked the ravioli which I found a bit bland. I got the lasagna which had an overpowering sweet carrot flavour. The portion sizes were just right given they were heavy/cheesy dishes. We both got the chocolate torte for dessert which was alright. I didn't care much for it. In fact we only shared one of the two we ordered. They also served a glass of cava as a part of the fixed menu which was nice. Service: The staff was super friendly and attentive. They brought us a rose on occasion of Valentines Day which was a nice touch. I thought the service and ambience honestly were the highlights and the food was just average. No live jazz music was also a let down.

Came for the sf restaurant week deal: 3 course set menu for $60. ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT!! The first course was a super refreshing salad which set the tone for the rest of the meal. The main course was either steak or a vegetarian lasagna, and I chose the lasagna. This thing was HUGE, absolutely worth the price. Delicious sauce and came with a side of garlic bread. I sampled the mashed potatoes and spinach that came along with the steak and they were super flavorful and filling as well. The real star of the dinner was the chocolate torte for dessert, served with a side of whipped cream. It was super rich and decadent, almost like a slab of dark chocolate ganache, and let me tell you I will be having dreams about this cake for years to come. Service was pretty quick and attentive, with the waitstaff even giving us wine pairing recommendations. There was a live jazz band playing throughout the night which provided the perfect cozy and intimate vibe.

Cute place with street parking. There's outdoor and indoor dining for an intimate feel. Went with a group of people and we had an outdoor table with a heater so it was nice. Food came out fast and they have a good selection of wines and drinks

Came for the $55 bottomless mimosas and food brunch! Unlimited food and drinks for $55 is a solid deal in the city. I ordered eggs benedict with salmon which came with a delicious hash brown. We also ordered beignets and french toast bites which were a delight to share with the table! Finished the meal with a small bowl of fresh fruit. We were a group of 5 seated indoors in a corner on a warm day in SF, so it did get pretty stuffy. Service was quick and they were attentive in making sure our group had the food and drinks we needed.

Kitchen crew here is paid higher to help offset cost of living, commuting, and working in sf! So nice

As a frequent rider of the 1 bus, I've ridden and walked by Scopo Divino too many times, but never went in. Finally one Friday night, we tried it. There's a pretty good happy hour special every night before 6pm--$1.75 oysters! 24 oysters per table with the purchase of a bottle of wine, or 6 oysters per glass of wine* We got a nice bottle of champagne (happy hour discount by a little) and devoured the oysters. We got 4 total for 2 people because we weren't trying to get full before dinner, but will come back and get a bottle and max out 24 oysters for sure one day. They have a cool looking bar and lush comfy seating and lots of tables both inside and out. The bar looks neat too, as do walls. The decor is kinda dark academia but in a more welcoming way. They treated a dog at a table outside so nicely too! Service was so kind and helpful and patient. Will be back for their Sunday night trivia and they also host cool dinners where they partner with wineries!

Came for the bottomless brunch (food and drinks) and it did not disappoint. We ordered so much food and shared it across the whole table. My favorite was the French toast bites and the candied bacon. The vibe inside is cozy but since we had a large party we sat outside.

I'll lead with the strengths. -Wonderful ambience, furniture, and music. -Delicious food (when you can get it) Now the weaknesses... I came with the party of four for the bottomless brunch. It's pricey (for me, but that's subjective) after mandatory 30% tip and tax, but we believed it would be worth it. We opted for the 90-minute bottomless brunch. We arrived 8 minutes after our reservation time, but thankfully that wasn't an issue as they have a 15-minute grace period. We were seated right away, but we didn't get our first drink order until 20 minutes after we seated, and our first food order came later. Between food and drink orders, large amounts of time passed. After approximately an hour had passed, we had still only been served 1 drink and a few sides. I think the idea is for customers to forget the time and just enjoy eating and drinking, but with the way things were going it felt more like we had to be vigilant to get our orders, which made it difficult for me to relax. It's a nice place I can tell, but the experience ultimately wound up being a bit frustrating. I'm not convinced we were able to get the value promised out of this particular deal and I don't think I could recommend it to anybody else - but please note that this is my first and only time experiencing it. As I type this, a waiter came to confirm drink orders, and it was as though mine had never been placed even though I've been waiting for it for almost 20 minutes. Bummer. Edit: This review has been a bit of a rollercoaster, as we had a couple of moments I was not thrilled about (one in particular being when a member of our party casually and politely questioned staff about the delays and was met with a defensive response rather than an explanation or an assurance that they would be flexible with the time limit), but in the end the service did improve. There were some additional minor issues here and there but I can't deny the deliciousness of the food nor the wonderful atmosphere. I feel my review of 3 stars is still fair, as this is my one and only experience at this establishment and all I have as a reference point. You may have a better experience!

Stopped by here for some wine and a little bite to eat before our dinner reservations somewhere else. Their HH is great!! We each got a glass of wine, some deviled eggs, and oysters. All were fantastic! I do plan on comes back to try some of thier dinner dishes as they looked great.

The food was good but not amazing. Chicken sausage was good but the chicken was gross and not seasoned. The service was ok. They weren't attentive or friendly but the owner was nice. 55 dollars is amazing fir 90 minutes of mimosas and food included. The ambiance was nice.

such a cute vibe here!! staff is super friendly, we really enjoyed sitting at the bar and getting to chat with them a bit. food was great too! i had the fried catfish benedict - it was a delicious and comforting combination of flavors. my eggs weren't runny, but i honestly didn't mind too much in this dish. usually for an eggs benedict i do want a runny yolk , but this is closer to a warm salad than a traditional benedict so it was acceptable. beignets were so puffy and delicious and the caramel sauce was phenomenal! i'll definitely be back for their bottomless brunch deal ($55) since it includes a range of drinks from NA to mimosas to bloody mary's! also want to try the chicken & waffles and burger at some point!

A wine bar/café that also serves some beer that has sort of an old-timey European café vibe to it. I came here during happy hour and sat at the bar. I thought their happy hour specials were good and the service from the bartender was great. Great oyster specials too! I came here when my parents and I were in the area cause I just wanted to grab a beer and have a seat for a little bit. I looked over their menu and ordered some oysters along with one of the local craft beers. Really enjoyed my limited time here. I even found out that they were really known for their brunch here on the weekends. I would totally love to come back and experience that. The food from the other pictures look amazing at this place, but we just limited our visit to a few oysters and a beer (we had a big meal not too long prior to this visit).

What are the Happy Hour Specials? I saw discounted oysters but are there other food or drink specials as well?

Hi Mark, Wine on our regular wine list is reduced 20% by the glass and bottle during happy hour. It's with this wine that you can get oysters at half price. We'll hope to…

Is their live music on Friday's?

We do not have music on Fridays, mostly because we have no room. Our full music calendar is available on our website: https://www.scopodivino.com/live-music-calendar

Is there music during brunch Nov 13?

Live music happens here 5 days a week, on Tuesday-Thursday from 5-8pm and Saturday & Sunday from 4-7pm. So no not during brunch but at many other hours of our operation.

Are all the food items listed on the brunch menu on the website bottomless?

Yes for those enjoying Bottomless Brunch, that includes all the food and all the drinks under Bottomless Options.

How much are the bottomless mimosas?

Well yelp won't let me put a link in here to the menu itself that would quickly answer your question, but the Bottomless Brunch we offer is $50 per person, which includes all food & all drinks under the bottomless options. It's a much better value…

Is says Vegan options on Yelp, but I don't see any on the menu. What vegan options do you offer?

The menu changes but presently the Shishito Peppers & Pear Salad (without cheese) are vegan options.

Is there still live music, and if so what days? Is wine half off now? Thanks so much!

Yes there is! We have live music 5 days a week, all information about Scopo Divino can be found on our website at www.scopodivino.com.

Are Tuesday nights still half off wine nights?

We stopped doing that promotion in favor of live music on Tuesdays a couple of years ago. That said we have live Motown Music on Tuesdays from 6-9pm. See you soon.

Is there live jazz sat evening?…

Good afternoon, there is not live music on Saturday evenings presently but there is on Sundays 4-7pm, Mondays 7-9pm, Tuesdays 6-9pm, and Wednesdays 7-10pm. You are also welcome to look here to get more information about the music:…

I called a couple of hours beforehand and made a same day reservation for three at 8 p.m. I was amazed they could get us in. The guy who answered the phone was so nice. We arrived right at 8 and were seated on the back patio. Our server took a little while to greet us, but by about 8:15 she showed up and we immediately ordered our salad and entrees. The heirloom tomato salad came out around 8:30 and was great in concept, though a few more pieces of cheese would have made a big difference. Our entrees, two salmon dishes and a medium-rare steak, came out around 9 p.m. We had waited a little too long, especially since the restaurant was not very full at that point. My steak was overdone, so as politely as possible, I sent it back. The server said it wouldn't take long, so I assumed 15 minutes at most. By 9:20, the steak still had not arrived and my family had finished eating. The server came by and said it would be out in another couple of minutes. Another 10 minutes passed, and there was still no steak and no sign of the server. At 9:30, I was so frustrated that I got up to cancel it. I found the server standing near the kitchen talking with other servers, while my steak was just sitting there in the service window. I'm sorry, but I did not come to a restaurant at 8 p.m. to eat my entree at 9:30 or later, after everyone else had already finished. What made it worse was that the server was not apologetic at all. We also ran out of water multiple times throughout the evening. Overall, it felt like the staff, other than the host, just didn't care. Neither the kitchen nor the server. I don't know if it's the no-tip model, but it definitely felt like an authentic European zero-customer-service type of experience. I'm really disappointed, Zazie. I know you can do better.

Our server was super friendly, helpful, and provided great service to make us feel welcomed and he seemed very excited about the menu. Food was absolutely incredible. I was blown away by the peanut salad and how creamy and fresh it was. Perfect started. The shrimp baos were unique but super juicy, not too flavorful. Pork floss shumai was flavorful, juicy, and delicious. Garlic noodles were buttery, creamy, and had such a unique flavor I was really surprised and loved it. Absolutely amazing dinner and will be coming back!

My party of four came without a reservation, so we were seated along the wall against a small countertop area. It wasn't the most comfortable setting for a group hangout. I'd recommend making a reservation in advance. Space is a bit small so seating is limited. Ambiance is a vibe though. Cute and chic little wine bar in a central location. Between the four of us, we ordered the bread/butter, ceviche, Dungeness crab garlic noodles, and the Wagyu dog to share. We also got a bottle of their Lambrusco. The stars of the show were definitely the wine and the garlic noodles. I wouldn't recommend sharing the Wagyu dog as it got a bit messy. Everything was definitely overpriced, and portions were small. We had to order takeout from another restaurant afterwards to satiate our hunger lol. I'm glad I tried this spot but would only recommend stopping by if you're not very hungry or are just looking for some small snacks before an actual dinner.
