It's hard to describe but it's definitely worth a try. It also comes with some Dijon mustard to try with it. * Dumpling Martini = VERY strong and unique. It comes with a real dumpling! * Mango Sago = I really liked this one - tastes exactly like mango with coconut and has a few mochi for fun. * Ube Cheesecake = yummy dessert cocktail that is fairly thick so commit (it's worth it) The food is really unique as well - I highly suggest the deviled egg sampler. The atmosphere is very lounge like with chill vibes. Service is great.

The escape room is Alice In Wonderland themed and includes three drinks as part of the experience. Arrived on time for our reservation but were held in a waiting room for about 30 min before we could start. Didn't seem like anyone else was doing the escape room but it was also the week of their biz anniversary so maybe they were just super busy. Phoenix led our escape room and was such a delight. Friendly, great banter, helpful throughout the escape. The escape game is split across multiple rooms with a good diversity of puzzles. Don't want to spoil too much here but they were good challenges. Drinks we incorporated throughout and presented like test tubes that were drinkable in a gulp, kind of like a cocktail shot. Personally, I found the first two drinks to be a bit too sweet, but I liked the third, which was coconut forward. The price is definitely a bit more costly. It was $100/person for a party of five. I understand that it was an escape room + the staff + the cocktails. If you max out the party size, it's about $85-ish per person which I think is pretty solid. Still very unique and fun and glad I got to try it

I was craving a refreshing craft cocktail and got one with the Green Emmanuelle. I liked the cardamom in the Beauty Mark as well that my partner ordered. We ordered shishito peppers and mushroom bahn mi sliders. The mushroom bahn mi sliders were amazing - the quality fillings and taste of the soft bun - I was unexpectedly hit with a bite of spice from maybe jalapeño seeds left but didn't sour my experience. The shishito peppers ended up being extremely spicy as well, those are usually just a few spicy and not the majority. The roasted lemon and salt was a wonderful combo but just too spicy to eat. However, the server very kindly removed it from our bill without us asking. We order the crostini because we were still hungry and that was an absolute hit. Delicious med-soft crostini with luscious berries and sweet honey. I didn't care my hands got sticky as it was soooo good! Great experience, I would be weary if the peppers as I'm a bit spice-intolerant but everything else was spot-on.

Finally tried out this Divisadero institution and it did not disappoint!…read more My friends and I all got the burger with fries ($20). I usually am very anti-ordering the same main, but it could not be helped. It sounded too good, and it was, indeed, a really good burger. The bun was soft and fluffy but didn't collapse under the pressure of being held, which is make-or-break for a burger. I don't want my buns to turn into frisbees. The patty was cooked through, still tender, and well-seasoned. Quite fatty, so just know that! The combo of the sauce, cheese, and onions was fantastic, but it did make for a more slippery experience. As a result, my hand was covered in sauce and juices by the end, but our waitress had wet hand wipes on deck, which was amazing. The fries were perfect, quintessential shoestring fries. We tried the Yuzu Custard, Peach & Basil Shortcake, and Rum Butter Cake for dessert, and all were solid!! It is a mission of mine (very casual mission) to find and promote restaurants that have solid desserts because it was hard to execute but also so necessary for Sweet Tooth Nation. My favorite was either of the cakes. They are honestly the same thing, just with different flavor combos. The custard actually pairs very well with the cakes. Outside of the great elevated American food, the space has a cool vibe, and the service was solid. Will be back!

We ordered the Oaxaca, which did not explicitely say was more of a "shot" than a drink. We also ordered the guayaba which we liked. The guava tasted fresh and I liked that the rose petal flavor really came through with a flavorful floral addition. The ceviche was good, and the creaminess from the coconut rounded out the flavor well. The chips were also seasoned well with some spices. We mostly just came for the views and ambiance, which I will say was beautiful.

The vibe was incredible, a live salsa band, everyone dancing, people having a good time... we definitely came on the perfect night! The band played until around 8 PM, which worked out perfectly because our dinner reservation was at 8:15. After dancing and enjoying the music, we got to watch one of the most beautiful sunsets I've seen from this rooftop. Such a beautiful way to start the evening. And the food made the experience even better! The menu is mostly small bites, so we ordered several dishes to share. We started with the classic ceviche, which was fresh, citrusy, and so good with the chips. We also had the al pastor tacos with pineapple, flavorful and a classic combination that worked perfectly. But the arepitas... OMG! Definitely my favorite. They come with three little arepas filled with shredded beef, and they were SO good. Between all the dishes, it was actually plenty of food for two people, and we left very satisfied. For drinks, we tried the guava and passion fruit mocktails, and both were refreshing and had really nice flavor. I've been to Cavana before, and I already thought it was a great place to stop for drinks or food before a concert at Chase Center or a Giants game. But this Sunday experience made me love it even more. It's also such a nice spot for a date night or just hanging out with friends. I don't know what the rest of their weekly schedule looks like, but this particular Sunday was a 10/10, salsa, great food, rooftop views, and a beautiful San Francisco sunset.
