Tray of Yucca Fries, Cajun Shrimp, and Vaca Frita
    Eileen Q.

The seasoning on the yucca fries was delicious! I enjoyed the vaca frita though I did wish that there was a stronger lime flavor and I personally was not a fan of having plantains in a savory dish. The Cajun shrimp sauce was warm and comforting. The staff were attentive and great!

Are delicious guacamole, and chips and salsa. The salsa was so fresh and delicious. We asked for two extra servings.

Cha Cha Cha in San Francisco makes a delicious Spinach salad! Went here with some friends who were visiting from Phoenix, Arizona, and wanted to visit all of the thrift shops on Haight. We ended up going to Cha Cha Cha for lunch and loved the entire fun and lively experience. This Caribbean restaurant is a vibe and they play wonderful music. They also have a great variety of different Caribbean dishes, but I recommend the Cuban sandwich and the spinach salad. Their guacamole and chips and salsa were to die for as well. The staff is friendly and our food came out pretty quickly considering the place was packed. Look forward to coming back here and trying some new dishes.

Came in during happy hour on a Wednesday, no wait! My friend had recommended cha cha cha and LOVES their cajun shrimp so we had to try. And I now completely understand the hype the sauce alone is soooo good and dipping it with the bread too. The tres leches was good but not my favorite. Great place to grab drinks and catch up with friends!

Always a good time! The festive decor, the lighting at dinner time, the colors, the vibe is awesome in here. A reliable DATE NIGHT spot. You know you'll have food and fun The best SANGRIA! Tastes sweet like juice, it will get you feeling good. You can eat the delicious wine infused fruit after too. You'll forget this is wine The food is fantastic: -Jerk chicken is so tender just perfectly cooked -Cajun shrimp: the sauce is buttery and tasty, plenty to dip your bread into -calamari is ok, not especially flavorful, comes with lemon and tartar sauce and marinara sauce on the side Service is efficient! They've got this down

One of my favorite places to eat in the city! The service is amazing and they bring the food out so fast. Jerk chicken is life changing!

Stopped by while strolling Haight-Ashbury on Labor Day. Had good music and good vibes. Pretty fast service. I liked that the music wasn't too loud. My friend and I shared the jerk chicken and paella which was more than enough food for both of us. Jerk chicken: 4/5 Really big portion size. The jerk sauce was super unique and the chicken was soo flavorful. Paella mixta: 4/5 Also huge portion size. Had so many different things in it. Mussels, shrimp, chicken, scallop, fish, sausage (which we didn't eat), squid, calamari. I liked the olives in it. Rice was well seasoned too. Kinda wish it was only seafood to get more of the seafood flavor.

Overall, the food was good. My favorite was the cajun shrimp as the sauce was savory and creamy. The spinach paired well with the bacon and mushroom in the salad. The chicken paillard was a bit dry but the mustard sauce was decent. This is a cute restaurant with a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating. There was no wait for a party of 2 on a Saturday morning right when they opened.

Heard a lot of good things about this place so i decided to check it out for with two other friends after a long walk around Golden Gate Park for Saturday lunch and we were sat immediately. We got the Cajun shrimp, jerk chicken, chicken wings, and guacamole and chips to share. The shrimp is so creamy and rich and has a spicy kick. We even asked for extra bread just so we could get all sauce with the bread. The jerk chicken is hands down the best I've had. Absolute flavor bomb. The chicken wings are tossed in this finger licking guava chili sauce. The guac and chips are not as memorable in comparison to the main dishes and maybe we should've gotten the plantain as a side. All the portions are massive and everything's reasonably priced so we ended up feeling super full. The service is fast and friendly. The only thing is we didn't get our water refill that often. The interior has a vibrant and colorful vibe and we came during the 60th Grateful Dead concert weekend so all the other customers also dressed in a funky and colorful way which added to the fun vibes. This place lived up to the hype and would love to come back and try more dishes!

Came for dinner with my family. Cool ambience with colorful lights, and eclectic Caribbean/Cuban decor. We had the potatoes, shrimp, mussels, jerk chicken, salmon with spinach and plantains, mushrooms, etc. All you can eat bread to sop up the flavorful sauces. We were getting ready to leave when our flan was comped. Everything was delicious! Unfortunately, my food pics came out too dark. Great, friendly service. Street parking. Place was busy! May come back to try the $37/person prix fixe of 3 dishes, M-Th. Highly recommend!

Came here on a weekday night. No reservations, but there were plenty of tables open for a party of 3. Been wanting to try this place since I was in high school. Ended up trying a few different things. Cajun shrimp was creamy and delicious. A rich dish. Wish they gave more bread, so I could eat the rest of the sauce. Jerk chicken was super tender and flavorful. There was so much sauce to go either the rice. Paella mixta was interesting. A variation on the Spanish original, but I prefer the original. The portions were massive. Definitely stuffed by the end of the meal.

Ambiance: it's located in a corner spot, and not too far way from the golden gate and panhandle parks, plenty of outdoor seats and spacious dining room inside, with full bar service in a separate narrow room Service: super friendly and very patient with requests, provided useful suggestion, served food fast and refilled water attentively Food: plenty of choices on their menu, classic Cuban food options and fusion dishes too PAELLA MIXTA - ***** Spanish rice with saffron, mussels, seasonal fish, shrimp, calamari, scallaps, chicken, and andouille sausage, rich in flavors, the rice is so tasty, and seafood combination is very fresh too, a must-try here, highly recommend CUBANO CLASSICO - **** Roasted pork, smoked ham, Swiss cheese, pickles in a pressed baguette, the roasted pork was so good, and the simple ingredients made the sandwich so yummy, recommend Plantain Fries with Pasilla Aioli - **** so crunchy and tasty, recommend Price: generous portions and very affordable prices, expect $30 per person for a hearty meal

Located on Haight Street, across the street from Kezar arena. This is a fun Caribbean restaurant is a great place to enjoy delicious food and sangria! I highly recommend their The paella mixta, which is Spanish rice with saffron, mussels, clams, chunks of fish and shrimp. We loved their cajun shrimp, which was more like a spicy, coconut-tomato bisque soup with shrimp. Served with slices of bread. Their breaded calamari was a great appetizer.

The interior was dimly lit with vibrant, colorful decor. The ambiance was lively, but not so loud that we couldn't have a conversation. The Ceviche was a group favorite, and we ended up getting a second order of this - highly recommend. I asked our server what tacos were most popular, and ordered based on that. Unfortunately, they were sold out of the Tuna Tacon, so I got the Taco Tropical. This was delicious! The fried shrimp was perfectly cooked and the flavors worked so well together. The portion size was small (2 tacos), but that was expected. I also tried one of the Carne Asada Tacos, which was less memorable. For dessert, we shared the Flan - so well-executed, one of the best I've had in recent years. Service was friendly and efficient. Overall, I really liked Loló for dinner!

And I was tired of the typical American or Italian fare. Abrazo popped to the top so I booked the reservation for 7:30. When we arrived, we seated at a wonderful table in the corner of the restaurant. The main dining room is boutique sized, but they don't overstuff it with tables so you do not feel like your neighbor is breathing on your food or listening to every word you say. Ha. Ha. The service was impeccable. They treated us like guests. We chose to eat from the small plate portion of the menu, although the main course meals looked incredible as well. Every dish was delectable. From the brussels sprouts (which would not be one of my typical selections - but which was mouthwatering ), to the Salmon (which is much more closer to lox than American Salmon), to the meatballs, to the garden salad, every bite was flavorful, fresh and brought smiles to our faces. And don't forget to order their fresh bread. And did I mention the service? Home style, friendly, attentive.... Like great local restaurants used to be. We had a reservation and was shortly seated after a few mins of waiting. The restaurant was small and cosy. We got the croquetas and house-cured salmon. Both were very delicious and finely curated. The croqueta tasted like what I had in Spain in fine restaurants. The aioli had some truffle taste to it and it's not overwhelming. Normally I stayed away from truffle tasted dishes but this was good. The salmon was very good - it's perfectly salted and the beet puree and dill-yogurt sauce go so well with it. The depths of flavors and texture were perfect. The highlight was the paella. I can confidently say it's authentic - socarrat at the bottom and I'm very happy that it's not salty! The taste of the paella suits my palate so well.. and the shrimp on the paella was incredibly - cooked so tender and fresh that salinity in the shirmp shines on its own. If I had to nitpick I would suggestet having extra salt on the side of the paella and aioli to go with it :) Service was average - staff seems to have different responsibilities and were pretty busy. The food was the best part of the experience. Bravo Abrazo!

The coliflor was okay. It was a little dense for me. The Hueso Asado was scrumptious, buttery and full of flavor, but half of a bone marrow was too small for an appetizer and only served with 4 small thin crostini. For entree we had the Ojo de Bife and Malbec short ribs. The Ojo de Bife which is the rib eye was delicious and grilled perfectly. The meat was not as tender, but the meat itself had a lot of flavor. The short ribs were excellent! Very tender and scrumptious. I would order this again. They should bring back the beef tongue or Lengua. I heard it is a must try. Anyway, we had a great time. That could be a good or bad thing depending on the vibe you are going for. All the dishes hit their mark for me. However, the dish itself was delicious. Scallops and shrimp: Similar as above, a very refreshing light appetizer. I would get either this of the other because they're kind of the same idea. Potato fritter w/ mentaiko: probably my top 1 or 2 of the night. Think fancy hashbrown with creamy umami pollock row plus more crispy toppings. This is a must-have I would say. Soft tofu soup w/ galbi: I liked the theatrical element of pouring the home-grown soy from Oakland to create the tofu right in front of you. The umami broth and the jang make this dish very rich. Another must have! Pork jowl bossam: this was a delicious take on bossam. Smokey soft jowl. The greens and kimchi accompanied it made this dish taste so healthy while satisfying your craving. If you just love buttery soft tender meat, go for it. However if you like jowl because you like the chew/bounce on every bite, you might be disappointed because this meat is super soft! Drinks: matcha colada was a little too coconuttey for me. It kind of overpowered the taste of any matcha but if you like coconut, this is a perfect visually pleasing and sweet dessert cocktail. The lychee blossom had a pleasant taste of fruit and almost tasted like there was yogurutoo or calpico in it. I much preferred this drink and it was on the sweeter side too.
