First they change the date to another day because he wasn't going to be in my area then because of me having a code or person there which they could have still entered both way. Prior to moving to San Tan Valley in 2018, I discovered this area is known Scorpion's and other critters. While still in Ohio and after reading reviews, i contacted Scorpion King, best thing I ever did. Barb is a walking treasure of information provided us with all kinds of information and even mailed us information she had in the office, and then followed up with us to see if we had any other questions, which I did. And of course, she had answers. Then about two years we got flies. 1000's and 1000's of pesky flies. Could not step out the door without being dive bombed. Called Scorpion King, spoke with Barb and Eric. Eric was out the next day, sprayed for flies. He told us that before his service was complete, we would see 100's of dead flies on the patio. HE WAS RIGHT!!!! His treatment provided results in 10-minutes after start of application. Of course, it's difficult to control flies when you live in the desert. His treatment allowed us too once again go outside without being dive bombed by flies. Note, they do a lot more than Scorpion and Flies, including ground animal control, bees, and a lot more. I recently purchased my first investment property in Queen Creek Arizona. Nobody told me anything about the scorpion infestation. I'm from Florida, we don't have scorpions. I was really disappointed with this service. As far as the extermination is concerned, I have not had scorpions in my home since starting services with them. I have had more live scorpions just outside of my home than I had before starting services with them. The owner explained to me that he was spraying the perimeter of my home, and would put traps in bushes. That's not too helpful for my property as I only have a couple of bushes on the side of the house. Other exterminators have told me you need to place and wet granules around the perimeter of the property (not just the house) so they cross chemicals before they get to your home. I'm not an expert on the science of all of this, but when I inquired about this they told me they would only put granules down if they knew it was going to rain. They weren't willing to wet them in. On the business side of things, I would receive a text the day before service asking me to pay ahead of time. If I didn't pay by that evening (usually receiving these texts while I'm at work), I would get a follow up text saying they would cancel my service. I've worked with a few exterminators and nobody has ever asked me to pay before I receive the service. When I sent my concerns to them via email they told me since I was unhappy with their processes that we should part ties. I found my experience with them disappointing and unprofessional. read more

When we moved into our new home we didn't realize we had a MAJOR scorpion infestation. I researched companies and went through a few before finding Scorpion King. It seemed that the problem was never really taken care of with the other companies. I even bought my own expensive pesticides after a lot of research, but it still did not take care of the problem. I started to feel that maybe having scorpions in our home was something we were just going to have to get used to. The final straw was when my kids were about to bake a cake and there was a scorpion in the cake pan they had just retrieved from the cabinet. This was just 2 days after our last spray. I got back onto the computer and continued to research. Finally I found Scorpion King and all of their reviews were excellent. I called and spoke with Barbara for about 30 minutes. She was so knowledgeable and took her time to explain everything to me. She made sure to set up service ASAP because she knew how much this problem was worrying me. Eric came out the next day and he took his time to further explain everything to us. He was at our home for about 2 hours, not rushed at all and took his time to answer any questions we had. After the 1st spray I saw 1 scorpion outside, which was obviously dying. A week later, just 1 more scorpion. That's all I have seen of them since. It has been about 2 months and I have not seen a single scorpion. I have never been so at ease in our home since we've lived there. out of desperation I posted something on Next Door about some gnats that I have been experiencing in my new home in San Tan something I have never had in the Valley in Mesa. Barbara mentioned they could be flies and to call them if I am not able to get rid of them. I did so and Eric stopped by that day that afternoon Saturday on his birthday! He identified my problem to be some terrible Phorid Fly more a nausiuance really. But was quick to repsond and came to the house three times to provide treatment to make sure the problem was solved. I cannot stress enough how easy to deal with and amazing his knowledge. Hands down the best service ever.
