The other three were focused on a $10k fix to remove rodents that I didn't have, performing a whole home termite prevention for $2500, one didn't show up, and then Jon from Arizona Pest Solutions easily won my business. Jon very quickly isolated the problem, showed me clear signs of termite entry that no one else noticed, and promoted the least involved and least expensive solution that was most likely to fix my problem. I was scheduled very quickly, Jon arrived on time, and within an hour he took care of the termite issue and helped me fix an ant problem as well. I wont go anywhere else for pest control.

After considering burning down my house or moving, I called Simply Green, and once again, they saved my bacon. Less than an hour later, their technician arrived and removed the poor creature. They have managed our pest control for the last five or six years, and it's been a wonderful experience. This is the second time in that timeframe that they have come out to help me - unscheduled. Of course, these things only happen when my husband is out of town. Their responsiveness and customer service is unmatched. They took my irrational fear seriously and improved my day and my week. Is that a good old boy make work arrangement or even a conflict of interest? On a home that was built in 1995 they did new home type inspections with current building requirements and codes and what common sense would suggest normal lived in conditions. On another note it seems like a new hot button in the real estate industry to recommend underlayment replacement even though there have been no leaks and no insurance claims whatever. Is it possible that realtors are using this as a ploy to get the price down? A suggestions would be to separate health and wellness issues and cosmetic issues so you don't kill sales or just shift over to new builds inspections only.

The morning of appointment I received a text msg, indicating ETA for his arrival. He and his co-worker did a great job installing over 13" of insulation in our garage attic! He took before and after pictures of our attic. The inside temperature of our garage feels much better now. This is a small owner-operated business who knows how to take care of their customers. A couple even came by to look at the job site and make recommendations about the type of installation they thought I needed. After talking to four or five firms, Milton from Izzy's insulation reached out to me and made the most practical recommendation based on my unique situation. We ended up going with a blown in fiberglass insulation of R 38 and 13 inches. His price was the best by a few bucks, but I particularly liked his practical recommendations, and so ended up using him. He booked me out a week later and showed up exactly on time and had the job done in just a couple hours. He even provided me with before and after pictures that I can use when I submit my taxes for an energy tax credit. Very straightforward and honest service I recommend if you're looking for installation to talk to him at least. As it ended up the insulation did basically nothing to help with the temperature in my garage. If others are looking to do the same thing, I tell you to look at a combination of insulation for your ceiling, walls if needed, and the inside of your garage door these metal garage doors really radiate a lot of heat into the garage.

Scorpion Specialists have been one of the most professional companies that I have worked with. While maintaining their small business feel, they provide an excellent pest control service with wonderful customer service. They have serviced our home for the past year and we have not had any scorpions or pests in general. The one time we did start to see an unfamiliar pest, I called them and they provided a service right away. Additionally, they began servicing our home right before we gave birth to our now one year old. I have a sign on the door that states to please knock, because the baby was sleeping. They are the only service that has actually heeded what the sign states. Each time prior to treating our home, they would call or text rather than knock on the door as to not disturb the little sleep that I was getting. I cannot rave enough about the personalized customer service that we have received this past year. They are willing to go above and beyond the call of duty and I would highly recommend them if you are considering their services. Scorpion Specialists seriously Rocks the House! Today was only our second Service But when they came out a month ago because we were having a serious Scorpion issue that had been going on for actually 4-5 years, well we are Excited to say that after (ONLY) our first service we literally haven't seen a Single scorpion since, let alone any other creepy crawlers... Chris the owner is extremely personable and helpful, and Jacob who comes to do the service is also very nice and respectable. There service is Affordable we pay 48$ a month and that includes the inside of our home every 3 months and every month they come out and treat the outside. This go around I did have an issue with house ants coming into my kitchen through the electrical sockets on the wall, I spoke with Chris and He assured me he would have Jacob address the situation by leaving us some traps on his next visit free of charge. These guys are great! We had them seal our house when we bought it and there was a known scorpion problem in the neighborhood . . . in fact when I first walked in the house after closing I found a giant one sitting in the kitchen sink. They sealed it before we moved in and spray monthly and as a result we have not had one single scorpion inside our house in the 3.5 years since. Costs are very reasonable and they come out yearly to recheck the sealing on everything and put in new door guards, etc. Chris has given me good advice on other pest questions too over the years and prevented me from spending lots of money when other companies were trying to convince me I had pest problems that I really didn't (door to door pest service con-artists). I've been using Chris and his pest control company for 15+ years. I've referred him to many real estate clients and friends over the years as well. They are the best at what they do and super reliable and knowledgeable. I had my home sealed as it was being built in 2004and never had even a spider inside and I was on the edge of the desert where new construction was disturbing the ground regularly. Had my new place sealed as well which was not new construction and still have never had pests of any kind. We had 2 to 4 scorpions a day in our backyard when we first moved into our house. We tried 2 different highly rated/recommended pest control companies for 4 months and they both failed. I'm July 2016 we hired Scorpion Specialists to seal and spray our house. And kept them spraying monthly. Since July 2016 we've only seen 3 total scorpions! But they were dead. And that's because our neighbors on both sides had scorpions. Scorpion Specialists COMPLETELY removed scorpions from our house and continue to keep the ones from our neighbors away. This company is the best! In 2011 we moved into a house that was infested with Scorpions! We tried other Pest Companies with minor results. When Scorpion Specialists sealed our house and started spraying only then did we get rid of the Scorpions entirely. The technicians are polite and give a heads up on the way over. We only saw a few scorpions in the 3 years we lived in the house. That could easily be explained by the atrium not being sprayed. Looks like we now have to start all over with a complete treatment. The front of the house did not have the holes drilled into the cement (just into the soft joints) like they did the back patio. Since this is near where the activity is, I'm wondering if that's what caused the issue to return. I often had to call to find out when my service was scheduled, there was no clear arrival window, and my service frequency changed from monthly to every other month during peak scorpion season without clear notice. When I decided to cancel, I emailed my cancellation request. Green Mango responded asking why I wanted to cancel, but before the cancellation issue was resolved, I discovered I had been billed under a monthly subscription model for a period in which no technician came to my home and no service was performed. Customer service was unwilling to remove the charge or transfer me to someone who could address my concerns, and I was told to wait for an email review. This experience reflected poorly on the company. The lack of communication, inconsistent scheduling, and refusal to promptly address a billing dispute demonstrated a disregard for customers' time and trust. I cannot recommend Green Mango based on how this situation was handled. I will also be following up by filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the Arizona Attorney General regarding this matter.

The people were very nice, however I hired them for their "Weed(s) Control Program" because the ad…read moresays a 6-month guarantee for a weeds-free yard and that they stop existing weeds. They came out and sprayed, but left the current weeds (which are huge) standing..no pulling, cutting, or removal, so my yard still looks completely overrun. If this is a spray-only service, that needs to be made very clear because "weeds-free yard" sets a totally different expectation. For $195, I expected the existing weeds to be addressed in a way that actually results in a weeds-free yard, not just an application with the weeds still there. Why am I paying almost $200 to go out and have to collect the weeds?

I am not particularly afraid of insects - I can crush a cockroach or squish a scorpion - but an aggressive airborne army is more than I can handle. My "hornets in Tempe pool" Google search sent me to Hornets Pest Control, and I am so incredibly grateful. The owner, Ray, is responsive, polite and accommodating. On the day of our appointment, he arrived exactly on time and went to work immediately. He assessed the pool area and investigated our thick hedges before making a quick change into protective gear. Less than five minutes later, he was standing at our sliding glass door holding an enormous wasp's nest (had I been inclined to grasp the thing, I would have needed both hands.) The honeycombs were oozing with white, cocooning larvae. With all of those baby wasps on the way, our "bee" problem would have quickly become a dangerous natural disaster if Ray had not come to the rescue. He explained the deterrent strips he placed in the shrubs and around the infested area, and warned that we might see a few die hard "worker wasps" returning to their home base over the next few days, but they would relocate quickly. Sure enough, five days later, we were - and remain! - completely wasp free. For an incredibly reasonable fee, Ray gave us back our beautiful backyard. He is a pure professional and absolute expert. If you have pests and need the problem solved - quickly and completely on the first visit - don't waste your time calling anyone else.

He was kind, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. He took the time to educate me about pest control and explain the services being provided. Ray thoroughly sprayed both inside and outside of my home, provided white powder treatment and sticky boards, brushed areas as needed, and even picked up dead bugs afterward. His attention to detail and level of service were excellent. I definitely recommend Ray and Hornets Pest Control for anyone needing pest control services!
