The hot tub was often quiet around 8pm and made for the perfect end of evening activity. They have an ample selection of towels and robes by the pool that are available to use. We also enjoyed a couples massage offered by the inn. Breakfast was very yummy! Each day there is a large selection of options you can pick and choose from. They had the breakfast offering for the day displayed and then you check off what you want with a marker on a short form. The inn is about a 10 minute walk from Footbridge beach, which was awesome. Overall I would recommend for any weekend getaway or celebration!

And the hotel is all about location, not frills. We made our plans late and got a garden level room, which was clean and had a comfortable bed, but, well, it's a garden level room with no view, facing a parking lot, with ultra low ceilings and was kind of cramped. Still, it had a nicely redone newer bathroom and shower, a functional air conditioner and it was convenient that there was a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven (for slices) and a sink for dishes etc so you don't have to fill up your coffee maker with water from the bathroom sink lol! We got lucky and had beautiful beach weather for every day of our stay so we just used the room to shower and sleep and spent time at the beach, walking Marginal Way, exploring Perkins Cove, shopping, trying different restaurants and having ice cream at night on one of the many public benches for people watching. This hotel does have a pretty lawn with some tables and chairs for all guests to use and that was nice in the morning with coffee. But if you reserve and get a garden level room, I wouldn't recommend that in the off season, or if you are unlucky and get rainy weather.

We chose the Lesa Lynn room which is off the main house around the back and is considered semi-private. It had a cute little porch with some chairs and the room was cozy and welcoming. Small little bathroom was perfect for the two of us and there was a small fridge and AC in the room already which is perfect. It was cooler during our stay so we just kept the ceiling fan going. There is also a larger fridge for guest use in the main house as well as coffee/tea available around the clock. The Inn is about a 5 minute walk from the center of town and despite being on Rt 1 (main road through town) wasn't overly loud or chaotic. They have a little porch on the front where we ate a DELICIOUS breakfast each day. Breakfast options included a starter (we had broiled grapefruit, fresh strawberries with homemade whip cream, and a delicious cherry bread pudding), there was an option of a sweet or savory entree (pancakes and french toast, quiche and scrambles with amazing homefries), a choice of bacon or sausage, and then juice or milk as alternatives to the coffee/tea option. All cooked by Duane and Claudine who are literally the sweetest humans and hosts. They also are interactive during the day and Duane often was found tending the gardens throughout the day. Overall I am thrilled by our stay and will certainly go back next time we head North for a weekend away. I can't speak highly enough about this bed & breakfast and the comfortability, service, and welcoming we received. Obviously we were there during the "in season" and so the rates were high but not outrageous in comparison to other locations and what you got.

The front gardens are chock-filled with beautiful flowers, & sweet touches such as a bubbling fountain, moss covered structures, & stone pathways leading everywhere. Each room has its own unique amenity: one has a gazebo, two have private screened-in porches, one has a garden entrance, others have fireplaces, etc. There is one suite, three other rooms and also a full apartment. The central air conditioning is a gift from heaven on hot summer days and the pool is amazing - so much more than just the standard cement hole-in-the-ground filled with water. Personal touches abound and it seems that everywhere one looks there is a unique piece of artwork or furniture or sculpture or planting that compliments the whole without being gaudy in the least. Having frequented Ogunquit for ten years, I do not know why I never knew about Beauport before - perhaps because it's a 15 minute walk from the center of town and I just never stumbled upon it until this past weekend. Quick list of other things I love about Beauport: no kids, no pets, no loud delivery trucks rolling by at 4 AM as with the other inns downtown.
