Fantastic buying experience! I would absolutely reemd Monster to any one looking for a used, reasonably priced yet still good condition vehicle. Other reviewer, I think you may be confused. First, Robbie isn't the owner. Second, none of your review jives with our personal experience with Robbie, or Scott (the actual owner). Or any one we know who has been there. That's just not their way. They are very fair, reasonable people. And I have a very, very hard time believing they'd treat anyone like that, especially an elderly lady. I've seen them go so far out of their way to help many different people that I'm flabbergasted by that negative review. We have conducted a number of transactions there, and have found both Scott and Robbie both to be super helpful, and even went out of their way to help us out. Both went well beyond the standard customer service, to provide excellent customer service. I know for a fact that every car is thoroughly checked over and detailed, car fax included, before its even considered being put on the lot. Anything needing replaced or fixed, is taken care of before it's put on the lot. When we are looking for a car again, we'll absolutely go there first. And after our excellent experience there, we spread the word with our friends. All of whom have went and nothing bad to say about the company, the selection, the prices, conditions of the vehicles, or Scott and Robbie. Some of our friends have already bought from them, some are still waiting for the 'right' car to show up on the lot. They will make sure you get the car you want, the one you love. Thank you Scott and Robbie for an excellent car buying experience. This had to be the easiest most enjoyable car buying experience I have had yet, and I've been through a few nightmares(well that's another story). I discovered Monster Motorsports while browsing for a late model used Hyundai Elantra GT hatchback on Cars.com. The price on the website was an incredible discount on what the usually asking price was for the 2014 Elantra GT. I called the office and spoke to Scott because it was 90 minutes from my home and I did not want to make a wasted trip. Scott assured me that I would not be disappointed and we agreed to a price that was an additional discount from the price on the Cars.com website. I asked Scott if it would be OK to take the car to another shop to have it looked over, he said no problem. When I arrived at the store Scott had the auto washed and ready to go. I explained that I had to travel across town to get the car inspected at a Hyundai dealership and I may be gone for 2 hours. He said fine and we drove off. The car checked out great and when I returned we did all of the paperwork with Robbie. Robbie was very patient and explained all of the financing. They took care of everything and we left the store in about 35 minutes. Now that's fast! Again, I have to reiterate how great both Scott and Robbie were. I would not hesitate to buy another car from them. Even though you are 90 minutes from me you'll be on my short list for my future car buying needs. read more

My car-buying experience at Monster Motorsports was fantastic!!! Robbie was such a joy to work with and gave us the most amazing deal on a 2008 Honda Pilot. I am still in shock that I am the proud owner of such a great vehicle. Robbie could have sold that vehicle for much more, but he valued the customer more than the money. He was so personable, and treated us with kindness and respect. We had already been to three other places and none of them even came close to the deal we got with Robbie. (One place even went so far as to try to sell us something that was valued at least $3,000 dollars less than what they were asking, and they wouldn't come down on the price.) It is almost unheard of to have such a wonderful experience purchasing a used car, but I'm happy to say that this is the best experience we have had. Robbie took the time to answer any and all questions we had and made the whole experience pleasant. He even called to follow up with us a day later to make sure we were happy with the car. Don't let one negative review cause you to miss out on what could be a great car-buying experience with Monster Motorsports. I bought a truck from Scott two years ago- 2006 F-350 diesel, for significantly less than any diesel truck in a 200 mile radius. I had a freeze plug blow out, which dumped the coolant, overheated the engine, and blew the head gasket about three weeks after purchase. It was not something that a mechanic would identify or predict during a normal inspection. Scott was under no obligation to help me whatsoever. Even so- he came in early the next day and identified the problem. He found the necessary parts (gasket & ARP head studs) for less than I could find. He then got a local 6.0 Powerstroke mechanic to perform the work at cost. The total came in about 65% less than the lowest quote I got from any local shop. I even looked into renting shop space and hiring a diesel mechanic to help me perform the work myself- this was still 25% more expensive than what Scott did it for. I cannot emphasize enough that Scott was under absolutely no legal or moral obligation to help me. This speaks volumes about his character. I will always call him first when shopping for vehicles. read more

it is a shame that somebody can completely fabricate a review and effect a business. she put down a deposit and on the day she was supposed to pick up then decided she wanted a mechanic check.....This is NEVER a problem.It then took HER three weeks to finally get a appointment. Her mechanic found a cracked fan belt and thought it could "possibly' need two shocks.on a 15 year old vehicle with 140k miles I would call that a successful check.And we would have gladly performed the repairs she wanted. After three weeks we considered it fair to keep her $200 dollars for backing out of the deal. we sold the car two days later and that person is still driving it today! Robbie is not the owner ,I am(she couldn't even get that straight)....I take my customers needs as my number one priority....I always have. This one did not work out even though we gave it our best shot. read more

I had a very positive experience with Monster Motorsport. I had been looking for a used Volvo S60 for several weeks and noticed one at Monster that seemed to fit the bill. I met Ryan the next day at the shop, and he was very up front, courteous and accommodating. He also let me know he had gotten another S60 just the previous day and showed me the Carfax reports on both (free of charge). I drove both, ended up buying the second and am most pleased.
