I did read online last week that the owner is sick and he will be closing down this establishment to focus on his health. This deli was such a big part of Port St. Lucie, and we love nothing more than to support small businesses. I will say, my favorite sandwich is, of course the Philly cheesesteak which is my go to every time. Absolutely delicious and this is from somebody who's had her fair share of Philly cheesesteaks and even a few in the city of Philadelphia. Both were lacking flavor. The pistachio ricotta cake had a slight pistachio taste, but the rainbow cookie was just flavorless. Staff was nice, but between the wait and the food, I don't see myself coming back. Can't speak for the rest of the menu since I didn't try it, but when I'm in the mood for Italian, this won't be the place I think of. I will also note that the website photos look auto-generated by AI, which is a bit off-putting. Edited from 2 stars to 1 after the manager's sarcastic response to this review. That tells me everything I need to know about how they handle feedback.
