I apologize to the owner for taking so long to write a review. I've only been here a handful of times, but this is my husband's favorite lunch spot. I did read online last week that the owner is sick and he will be closing down this establishment to focus on his health. I wish you all the best and I hope you get back to being healthy and have another 50 years left in you. I do not know his real age. This deli was such a big part of Port St. Lucie, and we love nothing more than to support small businesses. I will say, my favorite sandwich is, of course the Philly cheesesteak which is my go to every time. Absolutely delicious and this is from somebody who's had her fair share of Philly cheesesteaks and even a few in the city of Philadelphia. 1st time here, heard all good things. A little hole in the wall neighborhood place. Husb and I really enjoyed!! I got the Cuban, it was really really yummy, Husb had cheesesteak with mushrooms & onions, we did our own half-sees, both were fresh and delicious! WOW 10/10 BEST PHILLY CHEESE STEAK IN SOUTH FLORIDA! Yes I know this may be a bold statement but after visiting Philadelphia and coming back home it was hard to find a quality cheesesteak. Then we found Meeter's deli! Hands down one of the best in Florida with tons of cheese and a great meat to cheese ratio. They also offer cold sandwiches aswell and they are out of this world with all fresh ingredients I ordered the Italian cold sub with a Philly and let's just say just do yourself a favor and try it already. Oh baby! So so so good. The subs only come in one size, but you really only need that because it's filled with all the veggies, meat and cheese you could want. I've had several of their subs now and my favorite is the cheesesteak with grilled onions and green peppers and a little bit of those banana peppers. Yum Yum They also give you a side with it like a cookie or pasta salad. Totally hit the spot. Very cost-effective, service is great. Out of pastrami and roast beef. The wait was ridiculously long for three sandwiches and others (who presumably ordered online) got their meals ahead of us, and even waited. The ordering monitor was not working correctly so the transaction was delayed and needed to be completed with a different machine. Out of toilet paper and paper towel in the bathroom. We thought the sandwiches were pretty good until we noticed the sticker was still on the tomato slices. Highly disappointed in wanting to support a local deli. No trash bags in the garbage. So here I am scrolling through Yelp, thinking I just want a sandwich.... Meeter's Deli pops up and okay a sandwich shop. I looked at the menu and see at the top of their list a cheesesteak sandwich, so not just an ordinary sandwich...now I'm really interested... (yes, that's the face I make when I'm interested...lol) Read the description on the menu, thin sliced/shaved ribeye with a three cheese béchamel..YES, talk dirty to me! SAY IT WITH ME, BÉ-CHA-MEL! Say it dolcissimo! (Is it getting hot in here?) And you can add peppers, onions and mushrooms. You tease me. Okay, I know you wanna know...does the description match the taste and my answer, YES! Ribeye was good, that 3 cheese béchamel did not disappoint. The bread, baked fresh and super soft. The only downside for me, I could only eat half. Lol. It is so filling but not worry, part 2 will be just a good. They do have other sandwiches that sound and I am sure taste equally the same. Great Philly, but... ordering is a challenge. Asked those in the kitchen we wanted to order after standing there for 5 mins. Got some attitude but elected to stay and try this Cheesesteak. It took 15 mins to get our sandwich and then try to find a table that wasn't filthy dirty. Sandwich was very good but will not return. Homemade bread, great cuts of meats that's what makes a deli. They have pasta salad, potatoe salad, tuna macaroni salad, macaroni salad all top quality, hard to choose for me. They are open for breakfast, now. Tried the bagel breakfast sandwich, loved it. The NJTBLT has pork roll plus more stuff, delicious. It's worth the drive to this small business. We ordered lunch to go on a Saturday. My husband had the Pastrami on rye. He said it was delicious. I had a ham on a hoagie and the bread was super fresh, soft and delicious! There best hidden secret is their Cole Slaw. It is the creamiest and tastiest I have ever had!! Here are my critiques: (1) Tell your customers that you have a daily lunch special and what it is (also give more detail about it on your website); (2) update your design and descriptions on your website AND ADD the Cole Slaw (it's NOT on there); and (3) add those potato knishes to your menu (have that Jewish lady teach you how to make them from scratch). Lastly, I was surprised and disappointed to see they removed the Corned Beef from their menu. They explained there was no demand for it and it was expensive and they ended up having to throw it out. I'm astounded that with as many New Yorkers that live down here that there isn't more requests for it. read more

This little place is tucked away in a new, clean, shopping center but is a bit hard to find if you don't know it's there. Kerry and her husband are the owners and really great people. I am from out of town and wanted a ruben so the hours on Yelp showed open until 5:00. However when I arrived in my Uber the place was closed just after 3:00. I was lucky in that Kerry saw me get dropped off as I walked to the door. She was cleaning up but opened to let me in. I explained my dilemma and she invited me in to sit down and said she would make me a Ruben!!! How sweet is that!!! I had a wonderful Ruben with sauerkraut and thousand island dressing on perfectly grilled bread. The pastrami was fantastic and melted in your mouth. Kerry and her husband stayed open just for me, waited while I finished my entire sandwich and then waited for my Uber to come get me! How kind is that! Great folks and great food! read more
