Convenience store There are a lot of things running through my mind about this place but it can all be summed up with "meh". A seedy little convenience store that reminded me of what you find in an old gas station - only no gas. The place sells cold drinks and other sundries and also makes sandwiches. The girl at the counter gave me a weird look when I asked for bologna on a roll (don't judge)... she had no idea what bologna was apparently. I will guess it is a cultural thing (she was Indian) and there is a caucasian worker there who figured it out. The deli display case looked skanky and the floors were nasty - the place is just dirty overall. The sandwich was ok - nothing special. A third person is running the register - they charge more if you use your card BTW. Probably fine if you just want a bottle of soda, otherwise avoid. Parking lot in front. read more

Its really gross smelling and looking. Foods are dirty with a film over it. Horrible. The employee were nice to us.

Wow it has gone downhill. New owners. No longer clean, smells, food has cheaper ingredients. It's just sad now.

New ownership is rude. Prices are exorbitant. Looks like the Cumberland Farms gas station on Del Rio and California will have to do as our convenience store. We have been going here for years, through all the different owners. Usually we are satisfied, I understand they are busy and things can get messed up. I ordered extra well done bacon on my sandwich, only to get AGAIN fatty bacon and NO EXTRA (that we paid for) only realizing this after we are home with our food. I HAD to call, (which this is my first time calling to complain after getting countless of messed up orders), I am fed up, so I call, first thing I do is ask for a manager, only to get the newest child they have hired, to ask me "What is wrong" So, I tell her and then she gets, whom I presume is the owner or manager. So I tell her the story after just telling the child employee the same story. This manager is not apologetic, instead she starts reading me back my order , which yes says "extra well done bacon" Then she says to me after I tell her "yes, I know what I ordered" She says to me...'maybe this isn't the place for you". Well. she is right, They have lost two loyal customers due to their rudeness and lack of professionalism. read more

What a cute little place to stop and grabs bite and do a but if shopping. I've driven by a bunch of times and while I was out doing some Christmas shopping I saw that the parking lot was pretty empty and looked quiet inside. A perfect refuge on this rainy day! Walking in I noticed they have a bit of everything. Dog food, daily necessities, ice, beer, wine, like I said, daily necessities. They have a nice deli area where they have prepared pasta salads, jumbo pickles, chicken salads, and boars head meats to be sliced to order. The decor really takes you back to an old time country shop which is nice in the middle of a city. They also have coffee brewed and slushy type drinks (strawberry and mango). They looked delish. Maybe next time. I ordered a boars head roast beef sub with mayo, provolone, lettuce, tomato, pickles, black olives, tomato, and banana peppers. The sub bread was pretty good (not Publix bread) but a good bread, it had a nice chew to it and held up well with all the veggies. They did not skimp on the roast beef which was a nice medium rare. The provolone was sliced a bit thicker than I'm accustomed to. Which was nice as well you could really taste the cheese. The veggies were cold, fresh, and plentiful with just enough mayo to hold it all together. It was a well made sub. My only complaint was that they slice the bread all the way through instead of leaving one side attached so I had to keep adjusting the insides to keep them on the bread. (Ps: the sub was $7.95 +tax, a bit pricey, but remember you're supporting a local business). They also have soups and breakfast items as well. I'll definitely stop back in one day. read more

Neat little store and deli. Super friendly people. My veggie wrap was good, but for nearly 7 dollars it was on the small side. It's veggies, not Filet Mignon. Seems they could have been a little more generous. My husband got the Cuban. He said it was delicious, but here's a warning to those who can't take the heat. The spicy mustard was so hot my husband (who loves some heat) almost couldn't eat it. I don't know if this is the way they always make them or if they accidentally picked up the wrong mustard, but it was HOT, like make you sweat hot. Traditional Cuban's are not hot, so this was possibly a mistake. Just make sure to ask if you order one. We got 3 small containers of their salads. The best was the loaded potato salad. They are $4.99 a pound so it can add up quickly. Our 3 half pound (small) containers came to almost $8.00. A Cuban, a veggie wrap, and three small salads......loaded potato, pasta and feta, and macaroni salad came to $25...and change. Actually I was more excited to see they carry frozen organic hash browns and french fries. read more

Absolutely filthy. Everything in the store has grimey film on it. The ventilation system over the grill does not do a proper job. The ceilings have dirt hanging from them! Does the health inspector go to this place? My sandwich was made with a stale sub roll. So unappetizing I couldn't eat it. I would have given this better reviews but the store was sold a few weeks ago. My son and I ate there everyday for 3 years because we loved the food and the employees were great. In a month all the employees we knew quit. The new employees are clueless and most sandwiches we have ordered are smaller and they mess the order up almost everytime. They had great tuna (all white) and last night I ordered a tuna sandwich and it was grey and it smelled fishy. I plan on going to the store today and let them smell the tuna. The store is totally out of snyc and there is no teamwork. In addition they added drug paraphernalia, like bongs, pipes, and all that stuff. Its no longer a place I will shop at and I spent at least 300 dollars a week. Im sad because it was so close to my house. Ill have to find a new place. read more

The breakdown sandwiches are soooo good. The stuff in there is pricey and you have to spend at least 5 dollars to use a debit card which is annoying bc I don't need to spend that much when I just a drink.
