Loved this place! Everyone loved their food. The Hash stack was awesome! I had just skimmed over the menu before ordering and there are atleast 4 other items I want to go back and try. If you live in east Plano or Murphy, you must stop in Scrambler Cafe for breakfast or lunch. Art, the owner, is friendly. The servers are very efficient. The food is excellent, and when it arrives at your table, it is hot. The servings are large, and the decor is welcoming. The restaurant is clean, and the coffee is hot and ready. We have usually had breakfast, but one time we had lunch. The BLT is great......the French Fries are really good. We plan on eating at Scrambler a couple of times a week, and when Covid goes away.....hopefully soon....we will take all the kids and grands there to eat. read more

My wife and a couple friends had lunch here yesterday (10/7/21) and were really disappointed with the service received. The red headed Mexican waitress had difficulty getting the orders correct, didn't check back to see if drinks needed to be refreshed, etc. Also, it would more convenient if the online menu, in-restaurant menu and waitress all had the same information. The final insult was my wife's bill was for something other than what she ordered and received. Between the cashier and the waitress, they could not get it figured out and since what they charged was only about a dollar more my wife paid just to get out of there. I could go on with this report but you should be able to get the jest of this visit. This is really sad because my wife and I have eaten there at least 5 times and have been VERY satisfied and enjoyed talking to Art. We like the interior décor but if this lady is representative of the help Scrambler is hiring, this restaurant will sink like the previous two attempts in this location. read more

Morgan had the chicken and waffles, which we loved! It had bacon cooked into the waffles! I had pumpkin pancakes with coconut whipped cream! The sausage and bacon were also perfect! The special touches added to the dishes elevated them, and makes this restaurant so special! Our coffee cups were never empty, and our table was politely and continuously bussed. Couldn't be more happy to review! In town from Midland tx and had very berry crepes, son loved them. Texas burger, husband happy! But hears where it gets good. I'm glutenfree and it's hard to go out and find anything worth raving about but the gf pancakes are a real treat and mind blowingly large, fluffy and delicious!! I was almost scared to eat them thinking it must be a mistake they looked so great. They have a gf bread option too so French toast is on the menu and clearly the bread could be subbed into any meal but it's almost impossible to get real delicious gf pancakes. Excellent food, service and very attentive.. My daughter and I stop by around 11am on a Saturday. We waited one minute. They took our order immediately. We love ice coffee, which was not on the menu, but our waiter offer to make it for us. The manager came by at least twice to make sure everything was how we liked it.
