Weren't sure if we would find a parking spot for a bob tail Trk but we did around the corner (2 spaces). Ya breaky is on! It is a sat and busy. First they say us by window ... Too cold so our waitress was great and moved us more inside.. much warmer! He had steak n eggs with the everything on potatoes. I ordered spinich with potebella mushroom with Swiss Quiche. It was busy so his potatoes came plain...he was so disappointed since the reviews raved about them. Our waitress was understanding and was going to take his plate but we were hungry so he said that's ok.( she could have had cook make some and brought them separate I was thinking..) now my Quiche was fabulous. I love Quiche and don't get it very often being on the road all the time. They did make it fresh so it took a piece to get it but worth it! Served it with a small ramekin of hollendaise sauce on the side-perfect! My fruit was fresh and ripe too! Although the nice two gals we were taking to when she had her pankcakes delivered....(and omg r they huge) received a rolling off my fruit cup grape!! Lol landed rite under her foot!! We all laughed. Passing through on an interstate drive. Nice atmosphere with bright decor. Asked for hot tea--the water in the cup and in the thermos was lukewarm, no accompanying honey or lemon and no plate for used tea bag. The spinach and portabello omelet was greasy--totally smothered in and had to be dug out through heavy Swiss cheese. English muffin was barely toasted, I.e. not crisped. My husband had plain scrambled eggs which he said was not done well but liked the bacon and pancakes. Service was prompt in the early hours but the delays at the other tables were evident when the crowd started coming in. It made me miss Cracker Barrel. read more

Let me start by saying- the food here is very good. I mean it's nothing mind blowing, but it is a pretty good breakfast spot. However... the service there was less than desirable. We had to wait a long time after ordering our drinks for starters. Our food came a little later than we hoped, but nothing too bad. On the other hand though, we had to ask for basic things, like syrup for pancakes, and EVEN SILVERWARE. The staff was decently nice, but seemed very unaware, as we had to yell to get their attention. So, for all those thinking of going here, I'll tell you- Scramblers has good breakfast food, but don't go there if your in a hurry, because the service is less than desirable. read more

This is a tasty breakfast and lunch spot in my hometown. It has the best turkey flat breads and their side salads are delicious. Their food always tastes fresh and is quite filling for a very reasonable price. Would highly recommend. read more

The hostess was rude and wouldn't answer anything about the menu. "I'm just a hostess. You're waitress can help you with the menu." Anyone working in a restaurant should have knowledge of the menu and a friendly spirit to be helpful to the guest. Okay, if the food were amazing, I can look past the hostess... Here's the real issue with this place: The food all tasted like it came out of a frozen bag. Nothing seemed fresh. Frozen french fries. Frozen burger patties. I mean, how hard is it to chop a potato up and season it? How hard is it to use fresh ground beef instead of pressed frozen patties? We had a group of four and none of us were impressed. read more

My hubby and I wanted to try this place and finally did.....we wish we had tried it sooner. A warm atmosphere, quick service, friendly servers, and the food was absolutely amazing. We both wished we could have gotten one of each item off the menu. Great place to stop for Breakfast and Lunch. I had the stuffed strawberry French toast and only complaint was not enough strawberries stuffed inside, but was delicious all the same! The rest of our party has the breakfast burrito and the gravy train. Both were as expected awesome flavor and one couldn't finish his plate. So we had plebe to eat the four of us are for $54. Well when I came in they had 6 open tables and 2 more covered with Christmas presents for a party of 8. We were told it was 5 minute wait the. To me a restaurant on a wait should never have open tables that's lost revenue. After 15 minutes we were given one of those open tables. When we ordered it was 30 minutes server was walking around but still no food. Finally I left. Never did get food. All that was ordered was hash and eggs. Have been going here for over 10 years and it is going downhill and I'll not be going back again. Ordered a simple ham and eggs with hashbrowns breakfast. It took over 15 minutes to arrive. Despite emphasizing I wanted the potatoes well done and crispy, they came back as hash mush not hash browns. This has happened many times before and I'm tired of it. They have taken back the potatoes for recooking and usually by the time they re-arrive (not much crisper) the rest of the meal is done. This time I asked to be served all the food at once, the manager apologized and gave me a free meal certificate. But after waiting another 15 minutes, I finally walked out, never to return again. read more

This place is absolutely amazing! I come here quite often now that my friends and I from the university started making trips every Sunday as well as the occasional lunch date during the week. I always try to try something new, and I am never disappointed. No matter what your tastes, there is something for you. The staff is one of a kind treating you like you are family every time you walk in the door. Being a college student, I have a pretty tight budget, and with how much food you get here, you can't beat the prices. this is by far my favorite place to eat in town since I moved here for school. The only complaint I can find about this place is that it closes at 3 pm. I wish it could stay open later so I could take my family here for dinner.
