The owner of Reedville called me today and sincerely apologize for the situation that took place lastnight! I wasn't asking for anything but an apology last night and that did not come from the manager, but the owner was not pleased and is more than adequately taking care of things for us! I have to say that says a lot about his business ethics! After talking to him I understand he is in a really tough spot! He is a new owner and trying to live up to the expectations of his customers who have been coming there for many years! He is trying to keep things the way that Rick had them so it keeps customers happy but there are things he would like to change (the meal we had lastnight is one of then) but he is afraid to ruin the reputation of the restaurant by making changes to quickly! He is keeping the menu consistent with the original menu and recipes and hoping the customers will be willing to accept that some changes can be good, so he can possibly try new things! I really do appreciate him calling me back and at least apologizing and recognizing that the situation that happened last night was not appropriate! With all that said, because of him I will give them another try! I hope that others will too!
