    Tofu and vegetable hibachi
    Sheila C.

We had so much fun at Asiana! We all got different types of hibachi, I got the veggie and tofu, my friends got salmon and one got steak. Our waitress was super attentive always checking in with us. Our chef was very fun and I forgot how hibachi is a whole performance almost. Also the food was bomb, so good and savory! The restaurant is huge with lots of decorations.

Stopped by Asiana with a large group, and I was impressed by our waitress handling our orders and checking in every couple of minutes. The Green Bay Packer roll was delicious and we enjoyed the sesame chicken and General Tso's chicken. We asked for spice on the general tso's and it wasn't spicy at all, so that was a bit of a bummer. Good bar area to hangout at as you're waiting for your group or to be seated. Lots of parking available outside.

Very good food! Probably the best sushi, fried rice and pad Thai in the area! Can make it gluten free too which is great! We always do takeout but inside is cute!

    Great friends and fun hibachi!

After a fantastic experience, I'm shocked I've never been to this place before. The ambiance is great (It has a PF Chang's vibe while still being a local restaurant, which is impressive. Chain restaurants be damned! It looks like no expense sparred to make the interior impressive. It feels like a restaurant that should be downtown and not in a suburb, albeit a nice one). The hibachi was entertaining and delicious. We had the chicken and shrimp combo and ordered a Sushimi appetizer and a bottle of wine, as well. We will definitely be back.

    Steak & chicken hibachi

The restaurant was far better several years ago. The salad was iceberg lettuce and 1 slice of tomato and a bit of dressing. Nothing else. The clear mushroom soup was terrible and tasted only of salt and a weird chemical flavor. The cook lost control of his spatula and nearly hit a gues next to us with it. Sauce was everywhere from mistakes. I had a combo of shrimp & salmon. The shrimp were pure salt & like leather in texture. The salmon was broken up before it hit my plate due to poor handling. There was so much salt from all the sauce that it killed most if the available flavors. My wife had steak and chicken and both were cooked well but all the sauce added to the vegetables still made for way too much salt that completely over powered the meal. Our 2 meals + 2 Pepsi's+ tip (20%) cane to $85 & change. Thats an awful lot of cash for a poor show and food that was no better than Asian fast food. We probably won't be back

We come here for family dinner often. I've had better, I've had worse. I just don't think it's anything special. Food is decent, fairly priced for the most part. The waitress we had yesterday kept cutting us off while we were trying to order... that was annoying. I'm sure we will be back because of convenience.

    Volcano chicken

The good: The miso soup was delicious. The salad dressing was yummy. The salmon teriyaki was edible. The bad: The volcano chicken is not true volcano chicken. If you want volcano chicken, go to King & I, Mekong Cafe, Emperor of China, etc. The white tuna roll was 8.50 for the smallest pieces of tuna I've ever been served (I eat a lot of sushi). The ugly: The restaurant itself is filthy. Just look at the pictures. No words necessary. The manager did take the volcano chicken off the bill but was not apologetic whatsoever. She tried to tell us that every restaurant has their own volcano chicken sauce and we just weren't familiar with their version. No, Ma'am. Your version seems store bought and terrible. Worse than a mall's food court. They need to borrow anyone else's recipe because theirs is absolutely an embarrassment to the Thai culture. Sadly, this once regular patron and proponent of Asiana will not be coming back.

Large Asian restaurant (perhaps too large for an intimate conversation) and menu selection including freshly made sushi. Food was good.

Dirty ceiling and restaurant. Overpriced for the "show" you get. Clean it up and cater to lake country.

I didn't get a good look at the interior because I was just picking up the food but there was plenty of parking and the individual I interacted with briefly was friendly and my order was accurate. I started with the gyoza. They were decent/average. I wasn't super blown away but they also weren't bad. I also ordered the Red Tonkatsu. It was kinda spicy which I wasn't mad about. The pork chasu had good flavor and texture. The noodles were a little thicker than I'm used to. The broth was heavy and rich. I've eaten a lot of ramen in KC and had several Ramen pop ups from Tokyo so I'm a little biased. This was definitely solid ramen but it wasn't the best I've ever had either. The price point is fairly cheap compared to KC prices so overall I was happy with my meal. I probably wouldn't seek it out if I'm back in the area, but if you live here, then definitely check it out because it was good and was a good value for the price.

Unfortunately, the dish lacked flavor and I ended up adding soy sauce and hot sauce at home to give it some life. I like a little spice on my Thai food, but not too much and I did not realize that the mild spice level was pretty much a zero spice level so next time I will pick medium. I loved the light cook on the vegetables and how crunchy they were. The staff was very friendly and the inside of the restaurant was beautiful. I went there a different time and got their sashimi flight and a salmon avocado hand roll. I moved here from Vegas so I'm very picky about sushi and seafood in general. This has been one of the best sushi places in Wisconsin for me so far! The fish was high quality, extremely fresh and definitely superior to the other sushi places I have tried out here. Even though the drunken noodle I had was lacking, I definitely want to go back and would love to give some of their other Thai items because they look really good. And I will 100% go back for the sushi!!

Mom's Kitchen is such a charming and cozy little spot. The restaurant felt open, spacious, and welcoming, and the staff was incredibly friendly. We came in for an early Wednesday evening dinner and were seated right away. Definitely one of the perks of beating the dinner rush! They have a pretty extensive menu along with a signature menu, so naturally, we had to order enough food to turn the table into our own little buffet. We ordered: - Korean Wings - Crispy, flavorful, and a great way to start the meal. - Chive Dumplings - These were interesting! They reminded me more of a soft, doughy Korean style pancake than a traditional dumpling. Not necessarily my favorite dish of the night, and I could have done without it - Salt & Pepper Chicken - THE WINNER! This was easily our favorite dish. Crispy, savory, seasoned perfectly, and something I would absolutely order again. - Shrimp Pineapple Fried Rice - It was good! It had a slight curry flavor that I personally liked. My guest was about 50/50 on the curry flavor. The rice was a bit dry and could use a bit more savory taste. - Duck Pad Thai - Probably the lightest dish flavor wise. I personally would have preferred a little more sauce and a stronger marinade on the duck, but that's also personal preference. The duck itself was a nice change from your typical chicken, beef, pork or shrimp Pad Thai. The noodles were also a bit dry. A bit disappointed with this signature dish. One thing I really appreciated was the portion size. They are very generous here, so you definitely feel like you're getting your money's worth. We ordered quite the spread and had plenty of food to enjoy and had to take home. Not every dish is going to be everyone's favorite, especially with such a large and diverse menu, but that's actually one of the reasons I'd come back. There are SO MANY other dishes I still want to try! Overall, Mom's Kitchen was a good find in Pewaukee. Between the cozy atmosphere, friendly service, generous portions, and huge selection of dishes, I think it's absolutely worth checking out, especially if you enjoy Thai and Asian fusion cuisine. I'd definitely return the next time I'm in town. The Salt & Pepper Chicken is definitely on my list for a 2nd order . Also, I always order a Thai curry and this time I didn't. So next time it's on my table for sure.

The restaurant features a menu highlighting Mandarin influences, Thai, and Japanese, along with a sushi bar and hibachi tables. There's guaranteed to be something for everyone on this menu. We come for the sushi. They always have the freshest fish - Tuna, Salmon, Sea Urchin, Surf Clam, Eel, Sweet Shrimp, Abolone - you name it, they serve it. The sushi is available as sashimi style, maki roll, or there is a giant menu of different rolls and sauces to choose from. My wife loves the Sunshine Roll (tempura Lobster), and my daughter loves the plain tuna roll. I dig the Angry Spider Roll or a Volcano Roll. Crispy oysters are hearty, with a plum dipping sauce. I honestly haven't had anything I wouldn't try again! The sushi appetizer menu itself has a collection of unique presentations that have all been amazing! Before she braved the sushi my daughter often ordered off the menu, her choices ranging from chicken tempura to the Sesame Chicken or Lo mein, and always tasty with large portions. I was happy to finish later what she could not, lol. Service is good, sometimes the weekend nights get a little hectic but they make mean drinks! Get the Zombie rum mixer, it'll get ya there. My daughter always enjoys the Japanese soda they offer, nice little treat. Saki of course and Sapporo beer, there's not much you could ask for they don't have! Great place. The shrimp cocktail was worse - the shrimp was tough and the cocktail sauce had no seasoning. It was basically just ketchup. The price for these two items and a glass of house wine came out to $40.
