Food was perfection, highly recommend! I'm surprised they weren't more busy. Inside of the place was clean, calm and cozy. Nothing fancy, but it's not about the "ambiance" it's about the food when it comes to strip mall ramen! (Though I did appreciate they were playing some Asian pop mix on the radio instead of American music! Nice touch!) I got the shoyu ramen (10/10!), the broth was so flavorful I didn't need to add soy Sauce or salt. Pork in the ramen was cooked perfectly tender and was NOT sketchy at all, and I'm sensitive to that. Seriously the best ramen I've had in forever. My husband got the Katsu Curry which he demolished! He really enjoyed it! We got the spring rolls too and they were super delicious. We had some peach sodas in a glass bottle, so refreshing! This will be our new go-to pre-Costco-Run place from now on. Maybe on the pricier side for strip mall food, but the flavor and quality of the food is absolutely worth it! Paid around $48 not including tip for everything. And I'd pay it again! Our order was set to arrive between 5:30-5:50, but at 5:27 I received an update that it would be delayed by a hour. Not the end of the world, but a hour is a significant delay. Once the food arrived I can confidently sat it was worth the wait! Wow, was it good. They charge by ingredient for the build your own bowl option so it is pricey, but if you do not want the hassle of making it yourself this is the place to go! We ordered a build your own poke bowl with Carrot, cucumber, jalapeno, spicy salmon, cilantro, onion, green, tempura flake, dried seaweed, sesame seed, chicken, white rice, and spicy mayo ($20.50). We also got a ramen bowl with cilantro, spinach, green onion, hard boiled egg, chicken, tempura flakes, beef broth, ramen noodle ($29.25). Both were very good and we will be returning! read more

Place is a more than a bit sad and desolate and service is strained, but food is actually alright. Strip mall Ramen and Poke place that seems to have seen better days. Fountain soda machine is out of service. One side of the dining room was roped off. One TV was fairly loudly playing a Japanese TV channel but several others were off. There was only one worker during the dinner hour. As a result of the limited help, that worker needed to take orders, man the cash register, make the food, bring the food out and bus tables, clean, etc. There were only two other tables occupied when we went but service was overloaded. The worker needs to make each dish, one at a time and then bring them out. I can see if you are behind a few orders that the wait could be quite lengthy. And they charge a mandatory 15% tip for dining in when this is not a full service restaurant, due to "tough times." We ordered pork buns as a starter and I had a Tonkostsu ramen bowl. We waited at least fifteen to twenty minutes until the worker came over and I was surprised that he brought the Tonkotsu, not the pork buns starter. Frankly I wasn't expecting much given the general situation visible here, but the ramen was fairly decent. Not great but a fairly decent bowl, better than many I've had. It had a creamy tonkotsu broth with a slightly funky taste and an ok assortment of toppings including a few thin slices of braised chashu with a nice flavor, a half egg that could have been slightly more well done, bamboo shoots, scallions, some spinach (not nori) and some ok noodles. Then we waited about another 15 minutes before he brought out the pork buns and a Poke bowl. The pork buns were a bit different with a fairly thick piece of pork covered with barbecue sauce and carrot bits and some small crunchy bits. So-so on the pork buns. The Poke bowl was reported to be good. There are worse places, but would not go out of my way to come here. read more

Im not really a ramen person so ordering was a bit of a challenge but with a little assistance I had an awesome bowl of Ramon with spicy miso soup, bamboo shoots and duck that was just awesome. The spicy miso was so tasty and the duck was delicious. They offer both takeout and a dinning room and we chose to dine in. I went here one night with two friends, two of us got Poke and one got Ramen. The ramen was OK but nothing spectacular- it hits the spot if you want something warm and nourishing, but there's better Ramen in town. The Poke was fresh and lovely. Service was a little slow but very kind and pleasant. And the service was slower because everything was made from scratch and Ramen takes a little time to assemble, we were there just before closing so there was only one cook. TERRIBLE service. I was there with my family today, ordered on the counter, and when it came to tip, I skipped it because I didn't have any service. The employee said they were going to cancel my order, or change it "to go". Turns out there is a 15% mandatory tip in order to sit at the restaurant. RIDICULOUS!! Shrimp Tempura Bowl My wife wanted to try something different for lunch (I love fast food) so we came here. Prices looked high ($16 for shrimp tempura bowl, $3.50 fountain drink) but we were the only ones in the restaurant so at least we could have a nice conversational lunch. Whoops! There is a $5.45 (15%) surcharge if you want the pleasure of wiping clean your own table and eating inside (I'm not kidding). The place was generally dirty, understaffed, and unkempt but at least the a/c wasn't freezing us out. It was very hard to like the place. In spite of all this, the food and my wife's company were excellent, hence the 3 stars. It didn't seem like a good value at all. We live locally but probably won't return. read more

This is a new place in the area, so my son and I decided we try it out. We started off with the octopus balls, which are very tasty look very interesting. He had a rainbow poké bowl and I had a duck Ramen. Both were very tasty, and very much recommended. This restaurant in in the old Dickeys BBQ location, and there was still some lingering decoration from that at the time of our visit. Also, there was not much seating, and a pile of old equipment in the dining room, which detracted from the ambiance. Our food was served in styrofoam and plastic bowls, and we had only very flimsy plastic forks and spoons. If you're thinking of visiting, I encourage it, because the food is excellent, but if you're dining in, I recommend that you bring your own spork. read more

Context; lived in Hawai'i for several years, and know my poke. Have eaten here nearly 3 times a week for the last few weeks. One miss in all that time. They forgot to put any sauce (shoyu) on one order. Let them know, and has been as amazing as the first and all other times. Ramen is Ramen, but its about the broth, really. Spicy Tonkatsu is phenomenal! Only issue might be the small amount of vegetables and pork for the price. ($14) Poke bowls are perfect and out of this world! This is the type of ramen I would expect to get in New York, not in Pewaukee. Super fresh, quality ingredients and authentic. We had the spicy miso and beef sukiyaki. The layers of flavor in both were insane, eggs were cooked to perfection in both, broths were amazing, chicken was roasted and all white meat, the spicy miso was actually spicy too, and the ramen noodles themselves were authentic and had just the right amount of spring. I visited Tsuta Ramen & Poke while on a craft brewery crawl in the area. I don't see many restaurant devoted to ramen in WI, especially compared to Cook County in IL. This establishment appeared clean and organized, but a ghost town. Considering the diversity of their menu with poke and different bowls, I was surprised to not see more patrons. With the server's help, I ordered a spicy tonkotsu ramen. They had a good variety including miso, seafood, and a duck ramen. While I normally don't like picking a spicy variety if I can't control the spice, I made an exception. When ready, the server took my tray and seated me, as well as got me a complementary glass of ice water. I proceeded to survey my bowl and dig in. At first, I was a little overwhelmed with the spice but quickly adapted. The broth was both creamy and spicy. The noodles were well cooked and standard egg noodles of standard shape. The ingredients consisted of a soft egg, bamboo shoots, spinach & 3 thinly sliced well seasoned chashu. I was satisfied with the bowl and left full. I would recommend a visit both to try out their varieties of ramen, but also to support the business and ensure that the area maintains a presence of ramen restaurants. read more

The restaurant was mostly dead and yet it took 30 minutes to get the order, which is fine but not for a lunch order. And if you want to dine in, they charge a mandatory 15% "tip". Ordinarily, I would leave a tip anyway, but the fact that it was mandatory left me a little annoyed (especially since I had to order at the counter). The couple who ordered in front of me walked out when they were told about the added tip. So for my order which included Vegetarian Ramen, Shitake mushroom bun, and Thai iced tea, it came to $41.70. Unfortunately this place has devolved from a 5 star experience when we went there the first time, now to a 1 star experience. Over the last year of eating here, we have been angered by their incredibly unreliable service and wait times. It seems they are only able to prepare 1 or 2 dishes at a time. Often times we order by phone and are told it'll be ready in 30 minutes, only to find out that they only start it when we get there. We've had wait times of over 30 minutes AFTER the time we were told it would be ready. We would overlook this (and even joke about it) because we absolutely loved the food. But now it seems they are cutting major corners with the food and it is no longer worth the high prices and frustrating experience. Their pork belly fried rice used to be amazing with fried pieces of real pork belly with incredible flavor. Each grain of rice was like a little gem. Now they use red colored bits of mystery meat that kinda looks like chewed up gum, and the flavor is unnaturally sweet. So disappointing. The ramen now uses spaghetti noodles and the broth is watered down. After much frustration, we sadly have to remove this place from our restaurant list. read more

Listen- I've been to ramen places and this is not ideal. So It really does seem like they use Costco ramen and add their own juice/toppings. For $15 you can go to Costco and get a whole package of these bowls or you can get one bowl from this restaurant. You can literally make this from home. read more

What a horrible experience. We were so excited to see a new ramen and poke place open up close to home, but sadly to say it fell short of expectations. Clearly, I understand that we are amidst a pandemic and that they are a new business, so staffing maybe short, but being upfront about wait times would have been appreciated. We were told our order would take 15-20 minutes to prepare- 45 minutes later we were still waiting for our food, and now I had tired, complaining kids on the car. Had we known how long it would take realistically, we could have drove home and came back. We ordered their fried rice, priced higher than your average takeout spot, but consistent with local dine in restaurants. The taste was mediocre at best. Not worth the price your pay. The taste of soy sauce is quite overwhelming and a little sweeter for my preference. We also tried the spicy combo poke, which came with 75%rice and 3 small scoops of the actual poke which was cut up into very fine pieces and doused in sauce. The natural fresh seafood flavors were not allowed to shine in this dish, rather again the sauces overwhelmed it. We also ordered ramen and their takoyaki. I really wanted to love it, but the depth of flavors I'm used to in a bowl of tonkatsu ramen was just not there. The takoyaki was more batter than anything else and deep fried rather than cooked on a special molded pan. All in all, the food is a generous 5/10. For the price, it's not worth it for us. As with any new establishment, they will still need time to iron out their processes. Unfortunately, the recipes won't have us coming back for more. read more

I got the poke and there weren't pieces of fish but pulverized fish like you would get inside a sushi roll. Three balls of minced meat. So strange. The corn and pineapple added to the bowl were both from a can. I wanted the zucchini as my bowl base but they didn't have that. I also ordered the chicken and pork ramen but they were out of pork. They didn't offer to double the chicken portion or take some $$$ off for not having pork. Prices were ridiculously high (one order of poke, one ramen was $43). There was a $5 charge to dine in.
