Recently I've had two horrible situations happen to me as a customer with UPS at the La Jolla…read morelocation at 7660 Fay Avenue. 10 days ago, Yananice, their new hire received my package of $500 sennheiser headphones and decided to not put my package in my mailbox but instead put it in the outgoing mail, and almost shipped my headphones out of the building. When I came in and showed that my tracking had been delivered and she was questioned about my package she denied seeing it completely and denied responsibility entirely(typical). By working with another employee I was able to catch this mistake and receive my package. Four days ago, a valued $3000 DJ deck got delivered to the store where my PO Box is.. Marvin, a regular employee listened to a new UPS courier Who said that my package was a returned to sender, which it was NOT and they didn't even bother to look at the label, let it sit there for a day and then let UPS take it from their store, and now they can't locate it!!! Tori the operations manager needs to do a WAY better job of training her employees and have more competent hires, and take more responsibility for their mistakes in their store. Tori told me to tell the seller on eBay, that they should start a claim, but the last scan shows that the package was delivered, and there is no marking for return to sender on my package and there are no further scans to show that my package has left the warehouse hub here in San Diego. Also UPS thinks this was sent by Amazon when it's actually an eBay purchase, so everything is messed up with this and 1000% has to do with UPS, it's negligence and poor protocol/procedures!!! To make matters worse, I have been on the phone with eBay customer service about this item for the last week, due to it being a high risk item. This is also a new eBay seller who has been non communicative and if they did receive it back from UPS they're going to lie about it and then I'm screwed out the money and the equipment. Shame on you UPS!!!!!!!!! I want closure as a paying customer. I want there to be competent managers, curriers and employees that take responsibility for their mistakes and do their job, which is to deliver my mail! Revision! Torri Morris is amazing!! She got the owner of the store to cover my loss! It's not a $3k piece of DJ equipment... But, I was almost out my gear & my money, but Torri and the La Jolla UPS Store COMPLETELY went the extra mile for me and made my day by covering my loss! I still have faith in UPS Store La Jolla.

The change in cost plus WAY more fees added on is ridiculous. Charged per packager over limit? People use this for that specific reason, now if I get more than 10 a moth I gee a fee? Married? Opp that's another fee, extra $5 a month for another person added on. Leave a package for an extra day? FEE. F-ING ridiculous. My wife and I will be changing mailbox services, FEDEX is literally in the same shopping center, and doesn't have all the extra fees, the owners of this location should be ashamed of their outright greed.
