Printing is new for me since last year and they have always tried to make it easy for me by suggesting ways to print, type of paper to choose, and deals to save money. Guy behind the counter was kind of rude and not helpful at all. Said my return couldn't be shipped because of Fed Ex policy but I happened to be out and about and took it to a Fed Ex "shipping center" (not even a real Fed Ex) and they said no problem. Lame. read more

I arrived on a Saturday morning at opening and said to the clerk that I needed to OVERNIGHT a perscription. He took all my info and replied it would arrive by 10:30 in the morning, charged $61.00 . I paid and joyfully went on my way. What he didn't tell me was it wouldn't arrive until 10:30 MONDAY morning. I ADVISE USE UPS IF YOU NEED TO SHIP OVERNIGHT. Impossible to get through by phone. First the UTC FedEx store refused to take a FedEx envelope and said I had to print the label online, then their website was not working for printing an overnight envelope, their outsourced barely-English speaking 'customer service' was of no help but gave me the number for this FedEx 'office'. Called and after going through all the automated prompts, was got put on hold and no one picked up after 15 minutes. So I went with UPS instead. read more

Had a last minute copy job that needed to be cut. Our cutter went down so I brought them into Fedex and they were able to help me out. I was able to weight for them and Elizabeth jump right on it for me and got it done A.S.A.P. So glad to have them in the village. I highly recommend them. Great store and staff. I went in to ship a FedEx package. I was quoted a price but when the clerk wrote up the order, the price was three times higher. When asked why, she guessed that the rate she had just quoted wasn't available anymore. I went to UPS. The price was the same as the lower price I had initially been quoted at FedEx. read more

I needed to print some architectural drawings today, and the staff were super helpful in explaining my options, and then helping me with my file and print settings, even though I was in the self serve section. HORRIBLE STAFF, FILTHY STORE, Grossly Overpriced (EVEN COMPARED TO other Fedex/Kinko stores) The staff REFUSES to take care of copying in a timely manner, the store is ALWAYS UNDERSTAFFED. What the he-double-hockey sticks is wrong with these people? This store has got to be running at huge loss because I cannot imagine ANY customers returning here. I always use this FedEx location because it's convenient and the Staff is super professional and also very friendly. Sorry have to pile on. Ran down at 1:45 PM to drop off a package that I had a pre-printed label for. Maybe needed a box- wasn't sure. Pickup hadn't gone out yet, great! Then onto- notsofriendly person behind the counter insisted that somehow I was incapable of putting my item in the box that I had purchased. I cannot express how wonderful my experiences have been over the last year and half here in La Jolla. Every team member is helpful and willing to go the extra mile to make sure I am happy. They even suggest ways to save money, time and paper (yay for the environment!). Their printing machines are super high quality so when I print my manuals or certificates for clients they look extremely professional. Monday, Nov 13, 2017 between 11:15 am to 11:35 am. I walked in and was not acknowledged by the woman behind the counter. Other customers walked in and she acknowledged them. They were white. I'm not. When I asked her to help me with my shipment, and asked her a few questions, she had a negative attitude, "I cannot help you with that", and she was not helpful at all. I came into the store today with a huge box full of packages (about 15 in total). With today's stress levels, it is so easy to justify unbecoming behavior in places of service, so I wanted to highlight the exceptional experience I had with the FedEx staff today. Mike saw me approaching the door with a huge box and came to the door to help me inside. He proceeded to be very kind, throrough and efficient when mailing out each package. I was just really impressed with the genuine spirit of kindness in the store.Mike, along with his co-workers, Unique and August were equally welcoming, kind and helpful to others who came in the store while I was there. It gave the store positive vibes and I will definitely be making this my FedEx stop in the future. It is so wonderful when you receive not just good service, but that genuine good nature alongside it as well. Despite all the bad reviews this Fedex Location has received, I have had a great experience here over the last 2 years! I work from home for a hair company and am constantly sending prints to be done at FedEx. I would say I am at this location at least 5 times a month. I always get the friendly hello every single time it go. It only took about 2 months before I became a regular and was greated by first name. Even when a new employee was hired I was Always introduced to them so they would know to expect me every other week. The staff here is by far the friendliest staff of all the Fedex Kinkos locations I have used. My orders are ALWAYS done on time and to my liking. Even tho the staff has had a little bit of a turnover and I am sad to see employees leave, they always seem to hire someone else as easy to work with. I have been there often enough to even witness how other people are treated and it is always with a common courtesy. The store is clean, organized and a fun place for me to visit regularly. It deserves way more then one star! read more

It seemed like it should have been easy to get a vintage drum packaged for shipment overseas - after all, professional packaging is a listed service. I walked in at 11:15am, there was one person there, who announced to me that she had just picked up her lunch. She asked me to leave the drum for packaging by her co-worker who was coming in soon. She told me if I would come back at 1:30pm, it would be ready and waiting for me. I told her the item was expensive and she promised to keep it safe. Already I felt like a customer should be a higher priority than a bag of takeout, but I agreed to return later. I had brought the drum inside a briefcase to protect it and she took it behind the desk. When I returned at 2:00pm, there was no sign of the first person, and the one who WAS there had no idea what I was talking about. Fortunately, before I had a coronary, I saw the briefcase sitting on a desk behind the counter. Thankfully, the drum was still inside, but obviously had not been boxed as promised. Person # 2 said she'd wrap it right away but, within two minutes, had to take a phone call. She listened to some long-winded customer for over 10 minutes, instead of taking a message and phoning her back. I was beginning to fume. At last, she got off the phone, and she was mine! She pulled out a FedEx box but, since I planned to actually ship the drum using the USPS rather than FedEx, I asked her to put the drum in a plain box. She said FedEx boxes were all she had, but assured me the USPS has no problem with FedEx boxes. Having spent far more time than I planned on this escapade, I finally was able to pay her and leave for the post office. Well, guess what? The USPS WON'T ship a package in a FedEx box. Fortunately, the rep at the post office had a black marker, which I borrowed to obliterate the FedEx name (on all four sides, of course). One would never guess that you can get carpal tunnel syndrome from mailing a box. How could something so easy be so hard? This store reeks of poor management. I would discourage anyone from patronizing it. read more

I sold something on Ebay and was checking prices, they told me it's the same price direct or Ebay but it's less when you do it through Ebay. Poor management. Waste of my time. read more

I have to ship things out for my job all the time and occasionally get some things printed. The staff here is friendly, patient and extremely helpful. Shipping processes can be so frustrating and they always take care to resolve any issues I may have in a timely and informative manner. I wish I could give them a negative score. I had a package redirected to this location because I wasn't going to be at home when it would be delivered. I show up the day my package is expected to arrive and its not there yet, no biggie yet. I show up 4 days later, not only is my package not there but its at another location on the opposite side of the city because FedEx attempted to deliver my package not once but twice to this shop on the same day and they didn't accept because they "were closed". They were not closed, I was in the shop that very same day asking for my package which they claimed was still in transit and they wasted more of my time stalling to say they were to F#cking lazy to do their job or own up to their mistakes when it would've mattered. and now they refuse to have the package delivered to the correct shop. This place is a total ripoff. I printed out 42 pages black and white, and I was charged $20! They are crooks!!!! They charge .20 a minute to use the computer and I had to wait 5 minutes for a man to quit answering other peoples questions while he saw me standing right there.
