A long overdue review here, bought my Vespa here and then my KTM 1290 GT - which I love! First day I picked it up, I rode it to Los Angeles. Amazing service from these guys. They were patient and looked after me. Big shout out to Caleb and Kennedy!

I don't write Yelp reviews and wasn't told to write one for these guys at all, but the service and care I've experienced at Scuderia solidifies to me they are the only place you should shop for your scooter / motorcycle in the whole Bay Area. I came in knowing nothing, never even owned a car before or have been into a dealership of any kind, but the heads up service I've received from Rhone and company has me feeling supported, excited, and more knowledgeable about my purchase. It's almost as if they said 'we got this' and took care of all my questions and concerns at a prompt speed. Thanks so much guys, especially Rhône for the experience you've provided, you never made me feel annoying even though I know I was! I'm already excited to get another one down In the future and it'll 1000000% be from here.

Great place to buy a ktm. No Mark up. Fair price. The staff is awesome zero pressure and totally transparent on all ends of the sale. Currently own 2 Ktm's a 22 690 smcr and a 23 500 excf that I bought from scuderia. Definitely will be my go to dealer for my next ktm and service intervals from here on out.

    My new Aprilia

I just purchased a new Aprilia Tuono 660 Factory from Scuderia and have had an awesome experience!! Caleb who sold me the bike was honest and no BS which was important to me. He was willing to answer my many questions with a smile and never got frustrated. When it was time to buy the bike there was no pressure. Kennedy and Dave in the service department are really what gives this place 5 stars. My Aprilia has had a couple little issues to be worked out and these guys have been nothing but a pleasure to work with. Getting the work done and getting me out riding on my new Aprilia. Please, if you're in the San Jose area avoid Spirit Motorcycles and make the trek up to the Scuderia. Thanks Scuderia!!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about SFMOTO--especially Dave B!…read more I have a 2013 Lance Cali Classic 125cc scooter that had been sitting in a garage for about 10 years. She badly needed a tune-up, new tires, and a new battery. I called scooter shops all over San Francisco, but everyone turned me down because of the scooter's age or because they now service only electric scooters. I was at the end of my rope and honestly thought I would never find anyone willing to help me get her back on the road. Then I remembered SFMOTO on 8th Street. Years ago, I purchased my first motorcycle helmet, shoes, and gloves there while taking motorcycle classes, but I didn't realize they also repaired scooters. I was so happy to learn that they are a Lance distributor and service Lance scooters! Dave B was my service representative, and he was amazing from the beginning. He has such a great personality and genuinely understood how much getting this scooter running again meant to me. Although the shop normally doesn't accept vehicles over 10 years old, Dave looked at me and said, "I can't say no. I can see how much you want to ride your scooter, and I love your passion. I'm going to say YES!" And he did! SFMOTO fixed my scooter, and now she purrs like a kitten and is ready to ride into the sunset! I am so happy and excited to ride again. I truly believed no one in the city would help me, but Dave found a way to say yes when everyone else said no. Thank you, Dave B, for seeing how much this meant to me and for helping bring my scooter back to life. I love SFMOTO so much that I ended up buying another helmet, and I will definitely be back. Scott responded giving me the quote. After he also sent me a link to a Brembo rear rotor. I checked it and noticed the part number was different from the one I had just ordered, the day before, from Italy. I Googled it and apparently the part I bought was incorrect and the one Scott had sent was the correct part number! I immediately panicked and luckily was still able to cancel my previous order of the incorrect rear rotor! Phew! That was a close call! Would've been stuck with it if it had already shipped out from Italy. Scott did not have to send me a link to the correct part number but by him doing more than he needed to, he saved me a big headache. I think this shows that Scott does go beyond what he just needs to do. Thanks Scott!

That would have been the time to inspect the piston rings, the cylinder bores, etc., and advise me if something was wrong and what the parts and labor would have cost while everything was already apart. That never happened, unfortunately. Now the same inspection and replacement would cost thousands in new labor. 2) Worse, is at a later service, they bled the clutch fluid, and reassembled the clutch master cylinder reservoir badly causing it to leak when I went home. The fluid dribbled on the fairing paint and caused it to bubble. I emailed them about this and they never responded.

I first reached out to them about my leaking fork seals, and I had the pleasure of speaking with Shawn. He told me I could bring my bike in for a quick inspection, so I stopped by and they took a look at it and gave me an estimate. From the beginning, Shawn was transparent about the pricing, what work needed to be done, and what I would be paying for. Before coming here, I had gotten quotes from other shops, and TokyoMoto's price for replacing my fork seals was significantly better. I was so happy with the price and how they treated me that I decided to have them replace my chain as well. Obviously, adding another service increased the original estimate, but everything was explained clearly and there were no surprise charges. I had seen a previous review mentioning unexpected or last-minute charges, but that was not my experience at all. Shawn was very straightforward about their pricing and what each charge was for. I always felt like I knew exactly what I was agreeing to. They were also fantastic with scheduling. Since my motorcycle is my daily commuter, they worked with me to find an appointment that wouldn't interfere with my schedule. Luckily, I ended up being able to bring it in on one of my days off, and everything worked out perfectly. The whole crew at TokyoMoto was friendly, responsive, professional, and transparent throughout the entire process. My bike came back riding great, and I genuinely appreciate the work they did. Also, I am new to the Vespa world in general and didn't know much about anything. However, I am a quick study and have been educating myself since my interest to purchase arise. The staff has been good for the most part. Dean is a professional that will go over the models, pricing, service, and any questions about the product. Dean has been extremely helpful and patient when answering my questions. Scott is a good guy, that doesn't always respond to emails, which bothers me as a paying customer. Pros: This location will provides a great selection of vintage Vespas on this side of the Mississippi! They acquire Vespas locally or have them shipped from Italy. You will get a quality product from Bello Moto. Cons: The prices are top tier. In a market where finding a vintage Vespa of your choosing is few and far in between, perhaps this is a good problem. There were many little problems Bello Moto should share with customers that are not local since they ship the products nationwide. The clutch did not have the gear numbers stamped in. This made guessing the gears hard for this new rider. The kick stand leaned to one side. The throttle did not snap back, making that a very dangerous to ride! Truth be told, I still would have purchased it, but I would have appreciated a heads up especially if I am paying top dollar. The description said it was a 1974 Vespa with "factory holes for turn signals". When I got the title, I learned it was actually a 1976 model. The factory holes for turn signals led me to believe that I could have someone install the turn signals at some point. I was told I couldn't add the turn signals because the aftermarket compression brake took up all the conduit space, making it impossible as it is. Here is one of my biggest problems, It was more than that. The whole wiring harness, including the switchers, have been ripped out. I didn't learn that until I had the product shipped to me. These items are not found on the market! Luckily I found a competent mechanic in Orange County that made a customer electrical harness and was able to get my front and rear turn signals operational in tandem with the aftermarket brake. I had Bello Moto install a right hand side mirror because I am blind in my right eye. This was a crucial must for me. They said that a handlebar mount (to match the left one) was impossible due to the aftermarket front brake so they installed an overcharged mirror onto the shield. Turns out that a matching mirror could be ordered and installed despite Bello Moto saying it was impossible to. Bello Moto needs to be transparent with their clientele. Vintage Vespas sell themselves! Inform your potential cliental of any and all issues. Setting the proper expectations to someone that can't walk up in person is crucial for a great customer experience. I wish I knew about the electrical system being compromised for turn signals. Also, all the little problems should be discussed. Your mechanics gave bad advice for mirror solutions.

As a new classic enthusiast, Bello Moto helped me navigate that barrier. Their shop is one of the few in the Bay that you can go to and have a selection of amazing classics to choose from. I can't think of another place that you can walk in and choose a vintage Lambretta or Vespa and ride away with it that day. They have up to date stock on their website. And the turn around time for getting it on the road is lightning quick. Granted, these scooters are not cheap. But the Lamby 1967 Li150 series 3 I chose is pristine. The few little issues it had were taken care of immediately. Tim was fantastic. I flooded the engine in my garage and was having shifting issues after I got it home. He came to my place and got me on the road again. It had to go back in for some clutch adjustments and Tim made sure everything was running great even weeks after the purchase. The day I drove off the lot I got about 5 min away and ran out of gas..Tim came through again with the save and I was so grateful. He taught me so much about my new scoot..how to unflood the engine, change the spark plug, adjust my clutch cables etc. he was very patient and really wanted me to ride away happy. All the men I know in the scene said I'd never get my hands on a Lambretta..and now because of Bello I'm a proud owner. I did some light mods on it today and am so happy to have a new wrenching project. Thank you so much to Tim and Jeff for all your help and my new baby :)

When I asked for the owner it was deflected claiming he lives out of state. They took no responsibility. I would have at least taken an apology or sorry for putting you and or the public in danger. Lastly, I originally had my two tires replaced, very costly compared to other spots, but testing out the bike, it is shotty work. It doesn't feel balanced and feels shaky and slick.
