A long overdue review here, bought my Vespa here and then my KTM 1290 GT - which I love! First day I picked it up, I rode it to Los Angeles. Amazing service from these guys. They were patient and looked after me. Big shout out to Caleb and Kennedy!

I don't write Yelp reviews and wasn't told to write one for these guys at all, but the service and care I've experienced at Scuderia solidifies to me they are the only place you should shop for your scooter / motorcycle in the whole Bay Area. I came in knowing nothing, never even owned a car before or have been into a dealership of any kind, but the heads up service I've received from Rhone and company has me feeling supported, excited, and more knowledgeable about my purchase. It's almost as if they said 'we got this' and took care of all my questions and concerns at a prompt speed. Thanks so much guys, especially Rhône for the experience you've provided, you never made me feel annoying even though I know I was! I'm already excited to get another one down In the future and it'll 1000000% be from here.

Great place to buy a ktm. No Mark up. Fair price. The staff is awesome zero pressure and totally transparent on all ends of the sale. Currently own 2 Ktm's a 22 690 smcr and a 23 500 excf that I bought from scuderia. Definitely will be my go to dealer for my next ktm and service intervals from here on out.

    My new Aprilia

I just purchased a new Aprilia Tuono 660 Factory from Scuderia and have had an awesome experience!! Caleb who sold me the bike was honest and no BS which was important to me. He was willing to answer my many questions with a smile and never got frustrated. When it was time to buy the bike there was no pressure. Kennedy and Dave in the service department are really what gives this place 5 stars. My Aprilia has had a couple little issues to be worked out and these guys have been nothing but a pleasure to work with. Getting the work done and getting me out riding on my new Aprilia. Please, if you're in the San Jose area avoid Spirit Motorcycles and make the trek up to the Scuderia. Thanks Scuderia!!

CBR 600RR with eBay fairings...Only Jordan @ Scuderia West could make this 2017 used bike look brand new, OEM

Incredible service department, managed by Kevin M.. It is very evident that they have a culture of excellence, and won't let anything go out the door that they are not proud of. I brought in a pretty beat up Honda CBR 600RR along with some aftermarket fairings purchased online. Jordan, with a strong background in Honda, did an absolutely incredible job on the bike. I didn't even recognize it when I picked up just days after dropping it off. They took the time and care to custom fit the fairings to my bike, going above & beyond. To say their work exceeded my expectations would be an understatement. Kevin, their Service Manager, was very communicative and delivered on everything as promised, at a very reasonable price. I wouldn't take my bike anywhere else. The entire staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Five stars.

14K+ flawless miles. All service done by me and Scuderia

I brought my motorcycle in after a low-speed drop that left my steering feeling notchy. Shawn and the team did a thorough front-end inspection, including test riding the bike, checking alignment, and identifying that the steering head bearings needed to be replaced. On top of that, they had no issue honoring my request to double-check the wheel bearings, front suspension, and rear wheel alignment. It's now been 1,500 miles and a full track day since the service, and I'm still extremely satisfied with the results. The bike feels planted, smooth, and confidence-inspiring. If you're looking for honest, detail-oriented work and excellent support -- Tokyo Moto is the place to go. I'm very grateful for their help.

I've been riding scooters for 20 years in SF as my main transportation for work. 18 months ago I was referred to Moto Java because my scooter was about to die and I'd need a replacement soon. Mike, Ben and their team at Moto Java gave me an honest assessment about what needed to be fixed, gave me an itemized invoice showing me it'd be better I traded my old scooter for parts and bought something new. They appreciated I was an experienced rider, knew what I wanted and didn't try to oversell me on something I didn't want and gave me a fair price for my trade in. My previous scooter dealers/mechanics have given me a wide range of mileage for routine maintenance. Mike and Ben gave me an easy, clear number to remember so I bring my scooter in for routine maintenance based on the specific scooter I bought. Every time I call for an appointment Moto Java gets me in fast and finishes earlier than estimated. They also give me an itemized receipt of what was done and a heads up to what the next maintenance bill will cost so I'm not caught off guard. My review is based on my scooter that I bought from Moto Java. However I know they sell and service and sell a variety of motorcycles like long range highway motorcycles to mountain bikes to scooters. Moto Java is easily accessible off S Van Ness. Mike and Ben are always up for a chat about what they sell, no pressure sales and offer honest estimates about any repairs you might need. Definitely check out Moto Java.

Here's what stood out though: instead of feeling like it was time to dip out after the test ride, I ended up staying there for several hours just talking. I mostly worked with Josh and also spoke with the manager (super chill and easygoing) and a couple of other employees. At no point did I get the sense of "this is what YOU need." Instead, it felt more like, "Here are some options, let's talk bikes," with a few jokes thrown in along the way. In the end, I went with a different bike that they didn't sell. But the experience still left me wanting to support this shop any way I can. They have plenty of bikes that a great for most riders in the city, a knowledgeable staff, and fair pricing. I could have bought another bike for around $4,000-$6,000 but this one had sentimental value, so I decided to invest in restoring it. I dropped the bike off and asked them to make it "cherry"--fix it up properly and make it ride like it should. Make it look like new and reaooy aprae no expesnse its sentimental bike. They had the bike for about a year. During that time, I called regularly and was repeatedly told, "It'll be done this week." That went on for months. I stayed patient because I assumed the long wait and roughly $7,000-$8,000 cost meant they were doing a thorough, high-quality job. When I finally picked it up, things immediately felt off: They tried to charge a 3.5% fee for using a credit card. Ok, so I used Zelle, I attempted to pay via Zelle, but due to limits and delays, they refused to release my bike unless I paid in full immediately. I ended up paying theCC fee just to get my bike back after a year. Then the real issues started. The gas tank was completely empty when I picked it up. It happens, could but it could hsve been a shitty tming thing BUT After putting $20 of gas in, it them tank, started leaking immediately. Since then: The bike is still hard to start Parts are loose (a handle knob fell off the next morning and I ran it over and smashed it on accident Overall, it feels like very little mechanical work was actually done. At this point, it honestly feels like I paid $7k+ for a paint job and a basic tune-up. The bike is still in poor condition and nowhere near what I expected after a year in the shop. The staff was really (the son) polite, and I don't have anything personal against them--but from a service standpoint, I feel completely ripped off. I wanted to support a local business, but I would not bring my bike back here under any circumstances. I Do NOT recommend . First off I went in because I needed tires, I had a blow out in my rear tire and decided to just get both replaced. So, the tires were a little pricey and the labor charge was insane. But I value quality over price so I went for it. The tires are terrible (Michelin) it doesn't seem balanced and it just doesn't feel right. Usually with new tires I get this secure sensation when I ride ( not this time) Secondly, they were pitching me on other services that I found strange because I just had them done at a school with an instructor. Thirdly, on my way home, my storage box fell off my bike on the freeway, when I went back, they claimed they hadn't touched it, it was odd to me because, I ride everyday and had no issues. Lastly, instead of apologizing, I get a mechanic yelling at me saying i was at fault. When I asked to speak to the owner, I was told that he lives out of state. After all this mess I spent hours reading past reviews and found that others had similar experiences, but my biggest takeaway was how the owner/s replied to some of the commentators. I found it defensive, rude and never taking accountability, always deflecting the bad service or work they've done. Truth is truth, my review is based on my horrendous experience I had at this place of so called business.
