    I'm stoked to be a new customer at Munroe Motors! I had my eye on this pre-owned 2022 Triumph Street Twin for a while now. The boys treated me the utmost respect and patience despite me arriving right before closing time of a Saturday. I had the whole shop to myself! Elijah took the time to walk me through every little detail on this bike. Danny "Shades" did all the paperwork and made it a breeze--and pulled a couple favors for me. And Andy made sure that I was taken care of every step of the way. I'm proud to support a legacy business that's an anchor in our Mission neighborhood. I'm looking forward to being a part of that legacy! Thanks guys! The bike sounds and rides like a dream. I appreciate y'all staying late for me.     I rode to Munroe in September 2022 just 'to see' what the Multistrada V4S felt like. I'm 5-8 with a 28.4" inseam. One of the sales guys rolled one out so I could sit on it. I could be on the balls of my feet and the bike, although heavy wasn't so heavy that I'd not be able to handle it. After a lifetime of riding/racing motocross, desert, and finally road racing and training racers I wanted a bike that would in all likelihood be my last one. I asked Andy what kind of deal he could work for me and he said the best deal would be on the shop's MS demo bike. It was at the mileage they set as the maximum before selling. So he walked me outside and showed me the MSV4S Sport and I was in love. He went into his office and came out with a post-it note with the price. Deal I was sold. Ask if he had and could install the crash bars (because I knew I would fall at some point) and he did. Subsequent to my purchase I emailed and talked to the staff there about questions I had/have since this bike has more tech than my car or computer. LOL. In each and every case I get a prompt and courteous response, what I consider old school, which is a compliment. I didn't get as much as I had hoped trading in my 2017 Zero DSR, but it all balanced out with the price of the MS. My first Ducati, my first experience at Munroe. Both have been positive.

    In 2005 I was a young parent with a 1 year old and a second child was on the way. The sexiest bike on the market ( to my eyes ) had just received a series of updates to make it better. I had dreams of owning a red Ducati Superbike but given my financial situation this was not to be. I found my dream bike after waiting 17 years. The team at Munroe handled the service work to get the motorcycle on the road and reliable. Will answered my questions and provided accurate estimates on costs and timelines. I appreciate the expertise and enthusiasm of the staff. Everyone I have had the chance to interact with is upbeat and knowledgeable. I have purchased a motorcycle here, ordered parts, and used the service department. I TRUST the employees here to steer me in the right direction and educate me along the way. In short, THANK YOU!

    Huge Shoutout to Dan and Matthew for being my boyfriend's go-to and securing him a Ducati Panigale V2. Everything was so seamless, and so efficient. My boyfriend has been looking for this bike everywhere! He has been constantly looking at websites and other dealerships trying to locate one in stock or incoming shipment. And decided to go Munroe Motors one day and Dan and Will convinced him to buy it. The guys told my boyfriend to sleep on it, and not even 24 hours later, he put a deposit on this bad boy. The even better part was being able to see another V2 for service and I was instantly in love. Ugh this bike is a beauty and beast and can't wait to ride with my boy again! Thank you Munroe Motors

    Great showroom and awesome, honest people. I worked with Andy who is very knowledgeable and we spoke in details about the 701 Enduro, I loved the bike and all of my questions were answered. Process is straight forward and there are no tricks and games that are popular with other dealers. Recommend 100% if you want some new adventures in your life!

    When they attempted to torque down the head, it never achieve correct torque And they went ahead and assembled it completely.

    Dishonest, the shop breaks parts and uses glue to hide this from customers. Unqualified technicians: when doing a remedial head stud repair they used a 1/4" deep helicoil in a 1" deep case hole and stripped another during reassembly. They charged me 3,500 for this Buffoonery to release my bike. The only thing offered was I could have my bike back for free if I signed a NDA. I said no. Knowing I am disabled this asshole GM Andy pushed my bike out of the shop and refused to help me load it. I took my bike to catalyst Reaction Tuning who repaired all the damage caused by Munroe Motors in 10 hours for less money with pick up and delivery. I am currently working with the California bureau of automotive repair case #SF- 2022-18017.trying to get my money back from these hack crooks. I brought my bike there at the very beginning of August and they kept it until December. Do not buy a bike here. Do not shop here or use the service department unless you like dealing with children that don't understand or know what to do when they are wrong. Matt and Nick have lost there way.

    Here is their hidden fees "freight" $550 and "handling" $799. Bad way to do business

I Do NOT recommend . First off I went in because I needed tires, I had a blow out in my rear tire and decided to just get both replaced. So, the tires were a little pricey and the labor charge was insane. But I value quality over price so I went for it. The tires are terrible (Michelin) it doesn't seem balanced and it just doesn't feel right. Usually with new tires I get this secure sensation when I ride ( not this time) Secondly, they were pitching me on other services that I found strange because I just had them done at a school with an instructor. Thirdly, on my way home, my storage box fell off my bike on the freeway, when I went back, they claimed they hadn't touched it, it was odd to me because, I ride everyday and had no issues. Lastly, instead of apologizing, I get a mechanic yelling at me saying i was at fault. When I asked to speak to the owner, I was told that he lives out of state. After all this mess I spent hours reading past reviews and found that others had similar experiences, but my biggest takeaway was how the owner/s replied to some of the commentators. I found it defensive, rude and never taking accountability, always deflecting the bad service or work they've done. Truth is truth, my review is based on my horrendous experience I had at this place of so called business.

    This place is a hidden gem. Everyone I talked to was super cool and easygoing. Here's what stood out though: instead of feeling like it was time to dip out after the test ride, I ended up staying there for several hours just talking. Not because anyone was trying to "sell" me something the moment I walked through the door, but because they were genuinely great to talk to. I mostly worked with Josh and also spoke with the manager (super chill and easygoing) and a couple of other employees. At no point did I get the sense of "this is what YOU need." Instead, it felt more like, "Here are some options, let's talk bikes," with a few jokes thrown in along the way. In the end, I went with a different bike that they didn't sell. But the experience still left me wanting to support this shop any way I can. They have plenty of bikes that a great for most riders in the city, a knowledgeable staff, and fair pricing. Mike, Ben and their team at Moto Java gave me an honest assessment about what needed to be fixed, gave me an itemized invoice showing me it'd be better I traded my old scooter for parts and bought something new. They appreciated I was an experienced rider, knew what I wanted and didn't try to oversell me on something I didn't want and gave me a fair price for my trade in. My previous scooter dealers/mechanics have given me a wide range of mileage for routine maintenance. Mike and Ben gave me an easy, clear number to remember so I bring my scooter in for routine maintenance based on the specific scooter I bought. Every time I call for an appointment Moto Java gets me in fast and finishes earlier than estimated. They also give me an itemized receipt of what was done and a heads up to what the next maintenance bill will cost so I'm not caught off guard. My review is based on my scooter that I bought from Moto Java. However I know they sell and service and sell a variety of motorcycles like long range highway motorcycles to mountain bikes to scooters. Moto Java is easily accessible off S Van Ness. Mike and Ben are always up for a chat about what they sell, no pressure sales and offer honest estimates about any repairs you might need. Definitely check out Moto Java.

Nini at the front desk was absolutely perfect for the job imo: compassionate, reassuring, and exactly what a first-timer needs before throwing a leg over a bike for the first time for real. Freddie and Henry were great too, really easy dudes to talk to and very helpful with sharing tips and other pointers for me. I'll be honest, I dropped the bike an equal number of times on both sides over the weekend, all at zero mph (embarassing af). Symmetrically bruised ego, perfectly balanced. Returning it felt intimidating, but the whole team handled it with zero judgment and genuine professionalism. I didn't try to hide anything and they made the whole process painless, albeit with some monetary penalties caused by my inexperience (I own up to this though). I'm leaving with my wallet lighter but with my heart genuinely fuller for the experience. The environment this shop creates for nervous beginners like me is genuinely rare, and it made me feel supported and motivated to come back and do better next time. Will absolutely be back for my next rental and keep getting ride time in, because real experience gained like I did is priceless. The human element of the shop is just cherry on top, and makes me feel good I'm supporting a local business. Shoutout to Nini, Freddie, and Henry. You made a squid feel welcome.
