Not a great start, we're old but not ancient. However, I would prefer a menu that I can hold in my hand, not one I have to download on my phone. "we no longer have paper menus." We should have left then. What soft drinks do you have? We have Pepsi products. Great, I'll have a Mountain Dew! We don't have that! Sweet tea then and it was not sweet, sent it back. We ordered, I got fish and chips and although the piece of fish looked enormous, 80% of it was breading and the fries were barely warm. Our waterside table was for one as my side was blocked by a huge plastic sheet. The bill was over $60 which I thought was high, $80+ with tip. Went to this place because I thought it would be great seafood, let's just say it was anything but that. We were seated quickly by a lady wearing casual clothing, yet the feel was more upscale. We were given menus that were sticky and dirty and put in a small corner table. We first ordered drinks, pina colada and White Russian along with the hurricane. All three were very wrong. The pina colada tasted like a cheap mix with no alcohol. The White Russian was more like a cold milk with vodka ( no Baileys or Khalua) and the hurricane was just a bunch of alcohol with a cheap mix. We also ordered the poke stack and Artichoke dip. The stack was pretty good, but the dip was overly salty and served with some really hard stale bread. Then we ordered our entree, everything looked aesthetically pleasing. my husband ordered a steak I ordered the coconut shrimp (appetizer as entree) and my sister ordered the shrimp scampi. The steak was okay, but raw in the center and mostly fat. It was served with mashed potatoes, the consistency reminded me of either the kind you get from a freezer container or instant. The coconut shrimp average, the honestly reminded me of the coconut shrimp you get in the freezer section. The scampi was pretty bland and tasted like it was made with the cheap garlic that's pre chopped, butter and parsley. Needless to say, if you want fresh seafood and good drinks, this place is not it. read more

The view you get when dining on the boardwalk at Sculley's is breathtaking. We dined there on a Saturday evening and asked to be sat outside because weather was a crisp 68 degrees-- it felt amazing. The flavors and freshness of the seafood is great, but the food is a bit on the higher end. We ordered Calamari as an appetizer. Though it was light and crispy, we weren't blown away. My boyfriend ordered the "Crab Stuffed Flounder" it was very rich and the lobster cream sauce that came along with it was phenomenal. I ordered the "Seared Scallops and Sugar Cane Shrimp Skewers" (phew, what a long name!) I was nice and decadent, the rice that came with it gave it a complimenting touch. We also ordered a "Big Fish Sandwich" to spilt -- though it was indeed 'big" i was rather disappointing. Pros: The view, atmosphere, flavors/freshness/versatility of seafood dishes. Con: The price was on the higher end. Not that that is an issue (though I can see why the ratings are lower simply on cost alone) but for how much food you get, I think you should get more portions or at least live music. read more

The food is unbelievably delicious!! We had the muscles for an app and they are absolutely incredible! For our mains, We got the mahi fish tacos, with garlic parm fries, the steak frites, the ahi tuna poke, and the mixed green salad. Everything was more delicious than the next! We had fantastic service from Haily and Kevin. They were accommodating to any requests we had and made it a great experience! The ambience is great, it's right on the water, the outside restaurant/bar is a very relaxing place to enjoy lunch! We have been back several times and will keep coming back! read more

We ordered multiple things that came our incorrect or missing whole parts of the entree. My husband ordered the seafood boil and they forgot the crab. We ordered the appetizer mussels that came without the crostinis. When we brought it up with the manager, she apologized and said we'd get a discount. When we paid the bill, there was no discount. They were also out of grouper and pasta at 5:30 on a Saturday. The food was also not very good. Everything was too salty and almost inedible. We were seated immediately, overlooking the John's Pass Boardwalk. I got the Key Lime Pina Colada to drink and it was amazing. If the food wasn't so bad I would come back to have this drink again. For appetizers, we ordered the fried grouper bites which were smothered in buffalo sauce and were so flimsy we couldn't even stab them with a fork. It came with tartar sauce that was still in the pre-packaged dipping container. Seriously? Couldn't have at least thrown it in a cup? We also got the Coconut Shrimp which were just tossed on a giant plate and slightly burnt. Also, the table behind us asked for honey mustard and were told they don't serve that. Great spot right on the waterfront boardwalk of John's Pass. No wait on a Friday night for a party of 4. Started with tasty cocktails and fried artichoke for an appetizer. Artichokes were fried to perfection and the lemon aioli was the perfect accompaniment. Waiter was fun and we asked him to surprise us with a shot before our dinner came out. $10.50 for a double green tea shot is what we were charged for which was a bit expensive as we didn't ask for a double. Menu was pretty limited and I got the burger. There weren't any type of sauce/ketchup etc on the burger which made it pretty dry. I asked for a side of Baja sauce to dip in. read more

Well..... we were very confused because there's apparently 3 different Restaurants under one roof so to speak but we did end up at Sculley's. I don't think I've ever given one start until now. We asked our server what's good on the menu and he said "Everything" and raved about how good everything was so.... my husband ordered the burger (which he said was absolutely horrible) my bestie ordered a steak that came with green beans and mashed tates (I ate her greens beans and they were good) she didn't finish her steak and they cooked it too much. Her husband ordered fish and chips.... he didn't eat the fries and gave me the other piece of fish (which was NOT good either) because I ordered the clam chowder and I swear it tasted as if it was from a can and it expired last month. I didn't even finish the piece of fish because the breading was overwhelming and had a bit too much seasoning. My husband ordered an old fashion and had to send it back. There were crows all around waiting for you to feed them and the table top was ultra sticky due to the lacquer. My mango white claw was delicious though.
