Enchiladas - cold and cheese not melted inside.

An average taco shop that will disappoint on quality. Ordered a breakfast burrito, carne asada burrito and an order of cheese enchiladas. Burritos were pretty good. Their asada is more on the dry and crispy side which is how I prefer it.. The enchiladas were terrible. The cheese inside was cold and not melted at all (See picture). By the time this was discovered we were already on the long drive home.. What a waste. The main advantage of this place is it's convenient location off the 10.

I found a big chunk of plastic in my menudo. Almost choked on it... also the tripe was hairy, and it's not the first time. Won't be returning unless it's for my money back.

Chorizo with potatoes barely any beans. Had to get a magnifying glass to find them. $1 each add on.

Just had breakfast. I ordered chorizo burrito with beans and potatoes, hubby ordered hash brown burrito. Chorizo burrito I couldn't find the beans. The second was a plain chorizo , wrong. Took it all back and the cashier young lady said ,"ok". They immediately handed me back a cold hash brown burrito sitting on the side for awhile. Later she comes back with the same chorizo burrito and says, there's beans in it. I had cut it open and barely found an extra thin layer of refried beans at the bottom of chorizo, which I paid extra dollar for each add on beans and potatoes and Paid 4$ for glass bottle of coke , cuz fountain drinks were down. No apology and no one cracked a smile the entire time from entrance to exit. The owner or manager with his dolce gabana shoes walking around and not seeing what's happening with customers. The cashiers are calling out numbers that no one can hear in the back. Terrible service. The young man who took our order was the only polite kid who said good morning. Decent chorizo flavor, though. Tables not clean. I don't think we will be returning. Prices are high and service is low. Sorry to say. But I can see why 3 stars ...

Walked over here and sampled some dishes. Rolled tacos - above average with good guacamole. Still needed to be crispier. Breakfast burrito- they don't scramble the eggs, but it is in a thin omelette form inside your burrito. It makes the burrito really thin, but it was still fine, just a bit less satisfying. Make your own also needs more choices. Carme asada plate - not much fat, but meat was kinda dry. The platter was 10 bucks with rice, beans etc.

I really wanted to like this place because for the life of me I cannot find any good, authentic mexican food places here in Arizona. I tried this place because it's down the street from my home and I was dying for some tacos and a burrito. The carne asada burrito with red chili sauce was good and had great flavor. Ordered one with rice and one without. The flour tortilla was a little too cooked. Hard and burnt in certain places. However, the chicken tacos not so much. The hard taco shells were obviously store bought. By the time I got around to eating the second taco it was soggy and falling apart. There's nothing more disgusting than a soggy hard shell taco that's falling apart. I'm sorry but for a Mexican food place such as this that serves store bought taco shells should be ashamed. Do better!!

I like ordering inside so I'm not rushed, the menu is big and there's a lot to choose from. They have a little separate room for dining in. The wait times can get long, especially around dinner time. They do up charge for little things but will make whatever you want within reason. I have had the fish tacos but don't like the pico on it , so I get onions, cabbage and cilantro. I don't care for their enchiladas, the consistency of the tortillas isn't soft enough. My orders are always accurate.

We started with the calamari and sweet potato fries, which were both perfectly cooked and a great way to kick things off. Then came the garlic noodles... and wow. They were fantastic. You can taste that they use fresh garlic, and it makes all the difference. For the seafood, we ordered shrimp and snow crab. Everything was fresh, juicy, and flavorful without being overly salty like many seafood boils can be. Every bite was satisfying. Great food, great service, and great value. This place definitely earned its reputation, and we will absolutely be back. Highly recommend if you love a good seafood boil.

The waitress was attentive the whole time, bathrooms were clean, and I really appreciated how mindful the staff was with my deaf friend. That always stands out to me. The calamari was okay. I liked it, but my friend said she's definitely had better. I also had to ask for lemon with the calamari. Last time I came with a friend they were completely out of lemons, so I was glad that wasn't an issue this time. I'd probably try something different instead of the calamari next visit though. We got the Pier 88 combo crab boil with the "All of the Above" seasoning in mild. It came out super quick and was very well seasoned. I personally thought it leaned a little salty, but I also saw other tables adding extra salt to their food, so I guess it just depends on your taste. Portions were good and everything tasted delicious. Very kid-friendly spot, pretty loud and lively inside, and honestly a great place for hosting bigger groups, family get-togethers, or even just catching up with a friend over drinks and seafood.
