Ordered the clam and chips and my husband ordered the halibut and chips. AMAZING!! The best fish and chips we have ever had and we've traveled up and down the West Coast. Fom Vancouver (BC) to San Diego. We stopped by around 10:30 and they were not ready yet. They told us about another 30 minutes which was fine with us. We understood. We took a walk and by the time we returned there was a line! The fries are so good but really the batter is what makes this place stand out. Definitely recommend if you're in the area. read more

I'm going to give it four stars but maybe closer to 3 3/4. Excellent service and order was up quickly considering was lunchtime. I got the 5 piece fish and chips. In reality the pieces were pretty small but the batter inflated them greatly. Tarter sauce was pretty good but an extra one was an astounding $1. But you know the fish was fresh and the fries were hot. Nice covered picnic table next to the food cart which was very nice. Great location in downtown Garibaldi. We have visited this food truck in the past when we travel to Rockaway Beach. I love how fresh their halibut tastes and the tartar sauce here is really delicious. Why the two stars? No masks worn by the people serving the food & gloves were only worn by one employee. $30 for two baskets of food delivered 10 mins apart from one another meant we ate separately. Finally, listening to the employees bicker amongst themselves about which food went together (or had been handed out already) got old while waiting. .........it just wasn't a good visit this time. read more

When you think of classic fish and chips, this version is almost spot on! Watching the fish get breaded and fried after you place your order and get it piping hot was perfect. The tartar sauce isn't anything special but the fish and fries didn't need them, so no complaint. The fries are normal size and have a breading on them, too-- very tasty. We got full orders of ling cod fish and chips-- so much food! There was a nice seating area to eat but we took ours further up the coast to eat at the beach. Definitely worth the visit! read more

There's a lot of fish and chip joints up and down the Oregon coast and even though this may not be my favorite one, I would stop here every time I'm in this area. I tried the tuna and the fish I got was a little dry on the inside, but the batter was really good. And some reviews said that the fries weren't that good, but I really liked them! One thing that this place has that most other fish and chips places don't have is a covered seating area!! It's food truck food and the prices are ok. I had the fish and chips and the portions are quite big for food truck food. They give you decent sizes of beer battered fried fish. It was very tasty and fried really good, not too much batter. Some of you may not stop here since its kind of in the middle of a coast line but it definitely is worth trying. The batter is thin and very crisp and not at all overwhelming, allowing the taste of the fresh fish to shine through. The fried clams are just ok.
