This is less than half one whole ling order. Super fresh, super tasty, and the tartar sauce is on point.

Delicious, fast, good portion sizes, reasonably priced, and friendly! We were driving through on our way back to Washington, but will remember when we come through again!

This is one of the best fish & chips I've ever had! I've been to places around the world...Fresh, hot, crispy outside cooked perfectly flaky fish inside. Today was fresh caught Cod. 5 large pieces with perfect fries fresh made tartar sauce $17.00. This is a must have if you are a foodie.

Awesome fish and chips! So fresh! The service was friendly as well. We stopped in while on our way back to Portland from Rockaway. We've heard great things and love fish and chips, so we had to try it for ourselves. We weren't disappointed. We tried the halibut fish & chips ($24). The halibut was fresh, batter not too thick, and fries crunchy. The tartar sauce was good, too! We were tempted to try the Ling cod as well, but knew that would be too much food. The portions are generous. We'll definitely be back to try the Ling cod and tuna. The owner highly recommended the tuna, but the season just started, so hopefully, they'll have some next time we're in the area. They have a large area of picnic tables to eat outside. They're located right off of Highway 101 in Garibaldi. Would highly recommend.

One word: YES! If you find yourself here around lunch time and are looking for delicious fish and chips, this is the place. Three big pieces of fried halibut, flaky, hot, light but crispy breading. And some fries. Truly delicious. Maybe not the most scenic place in the world, but some picnic tables are scattered around behind the food truck and there is plenty of parking. No covered seating so I was glad the sun was out and we were able to snatch a table and enjoy the fish.

Rumors on the coast is that The Sea Baron has the best fish and chips you'll ever eat. I can confirm this rumor is 100 percent true. The Sea Baron is a sea to cart fish experience. I have never had fresher fish and chips. The halibut melted in my mouth. I ordered a half size (3 pieces) and it was plenty. Make sure you check social media for hours and location (as they are a cart). They close for the winter mid October.

Hands down the best we had on the Coast. Fantastic Halibut, large prawns and large portions of amazing chips. Both the women in the truck were kind courteous. The outdoor tables were lovely to eat at on a sunny day

Best stop on the road trip down the coast. This food is perfectly battered & fried to perfection!! This is a nice food truck with ample parking and a nice outdoor space to eat. The food was ready quickly and the service was so friendly & helpful! I will be thinking of these shrimp for a while! We ordered shrimp, clams, and fish & all were very good!

Fantastic! The freshest fish, the best fries hands down. Go early because when they are out of fresh fish they are done for the day.

That should probably tell you everything you need to know. I've had A LOT of fish & chips, and I can confidently say Squatshami now holds the #1 spot for me. The halibut was some of the freshest I've ever had. The flavor was incredible, the fish was perfectly cooked, and the tartar sauce that came with it somehow took the whole thing up another level. And yes... I have zero pictures of the fish & chips. That's because it was so good there was absolutely no time for food photography. Priorities, people. And we can't forget about dessert! Their ice cream concoctions are completely customizable, and we went ALL IN with: Brownie Reese's Peanut Butter Caramel Fudge It was basically an edible vacation in a cup. If you're visiting the Oregon Coast and love fish & chips, put Squatshami on your list. The fact that we went back before leaving Lincoln City says it all.

She ordered the salmon and chips with clam chowder, and I got the prawns and chips with clam chowder. The clam chowder was honestly really good -- flavorful, not overly thick, and packed with a good amount of clams. Definitely tasted much better than canned chowder considering this was my first time actually having it not in a can. The prawns and chips were also solid. The prawns weren't heavily battered, and the fries were crispy on the outside while still soft inside. Portions for both the chowder and entrées felt generous for the price. Service was friendly and quick. We were seated within about 5 minutes, had a little time to look over the menu, and our server came by shortly after. He gave a great recommendation for my friend's meal as well. The restaurant was pretty busy for a Saturday evening, but we got there right before the bigger dinner rush. Indoor seating filled up quickly, while the outdoor area was quieter because of the wind. Overall, it was a pleasant stop with tasty food, quick service, and a good variety of options, including drinks.

The place was clean, and everybody was friendly. Half of the place is the bar, half of the place is the restaurant. They even have a small gift shop in the corner of the restaurant. When you first walk in, you check in with the bartender, and then you just find a seat in the restaurant. I was served quickly. I decided to go for a cup of the smoked clam chowder, and the rockfish fish and chips. You have several different choices of what kind of fish you want for your fish and chips. They also have a good choice of other items on the menu Once I put in my order, the food comes quickly. The clam chowder was amazing. The smokiness of the clams Comes over into the soup. It was a smoky flavor, but it did not overwhelm the soup. It complimented it very well. There was a very generous portion of the clams and other ingredients. Dear Lord, I couldn't believe the size of that platter of fish and chips. Two giant pieces of rockfish, a very generous portion of fries, and a coleslaw. You also get ketchup for your fries, and a very delicious tartar sauce. I liked the coleslaw. It was not overdressed, and had just a little bit of a peppery bite. The pepper did not overwhelm the coleslaw. The fish was not overly battered, and not greasy at all. The fish was flaky and rich. The fries had just a littlle bit of a crisp on the outside, and were perfectly tender on the inside. The entire meal was amazing. It was so big, I brought one of the pieces of rockfish and about half of my fries back to my motel for breakfast the next morning. It heated up perfectly in the microwave and was just as good the following morning. For all I got, the price was extremely reasonable, and they also do a military/veterans discount. I will remember this place. Thank you!

I walked in about 10 minutes before closing and offered to take my food to go, but my server told me that while the kitchen was closing, I was still welcome to eat in the dining room since the bar would remain open. I didn't catch her name, but she was "awesome possum"--cute, short, energetic, and full of the kind of fun, friendly banter you would expect from Flo at a classic diner. She made the whole experience even better. I ordered the FishMonger fish and chips platter, which came with two pieces of tuna, plus cod, rockfish, and salmon. It was an incredible amount of food for only $24! The batter was perfectly crunchy and flavorful, the fish tasted fresh, and the portions were very generous. I barely managed to finish it, but I persevered--mostly by sacrificing the fries! The only slightly confusing part was finding the restaurant. Some of the reviews made it sound like a standalone location, but FishMongers is actually located inside the South Jetty dining room and bar. Once I found it, though, I loved the atmosphere. It had a great, relaxed vibe, excellent food, and outstanding service. I will definitely be back!
