We stopped by the garibaldi food cart pod and decided on country squire kitchen! We had the chicken melt. I thought the curry undertones were very good. The bread was very soft and I liked the zucchini inside the sandwich. I would have loved more veggies and other fillings to compliment and balance the cheese. The chips were not a favorite of mine, it may have been that they were about to expire or just a brand that's not very flavorful. I had I feel like if I paid $16 (including tip) a sandwich and a bag of chips at a restaurant I would have been disappointed and that's how I feel about this combo. Just a bit overpriced for what you are getting.

We came to have beers at De Garde Brewery in Tillamook and were happy to see a food truck right next door - you can see it in the photo taken from inside De Garde how close it is. The guy in De Garde said we could order food from the food truck and bring it inside and have with our beers! WIN WIN! We each got the double smash burger along with a pulled pork hatch chile sandwich... the pork/chile sandwich was so so good BUT I must admit their burgers are as good a burger as I have ever had anywhere. If you like to try different types of sandwiches they have lots of options and the pork hatch chile sandwich is an amazing choice. But if you are into burgers and want to have a burger perfectly cooked with fresh ingredients that melts in your mouth get the burger! Or get one of each like I did!

Country squire is simply the best! They use fresh locally sourced ingredients that make each dish pop with color and flavor. Their friendly service makes your short wait for the tasty food fun:) they are able to accommodate to allergies and will turn anything into a rice bowl! Take it to go, or sit in the de Garde tasting room and pair it with a sour beer! This is a place that has something for anyone and will leave you feeling satisfied, full, and happy!

Amazing special! Udon pork belly stir-fry. Definitely check this place out!

So this is going to be a mixed review. First, the food. The tacos I got were good flavor but on the…read moredry side. I got carne asada and adobada tacos. The carne was dry but good flavor. Adabada was a step above the carne asada. Now the sides were not good. One single radish for 4 tacos, and my wife got 4 tacos with NO radish, I don't know why. Grilled onions were great and limes were juicy. Now here comes the service. So the service was abismal. I first ordered 5 tacos in line, no one behind me and one person in front of me. I ordered and the lady repeated it back to me and I said correct, so I get to the window and she pulls up saying "you had the ten tacos, correct?" And on the fly I just said yes because I didn't want to be cause a problem or have them throw them away but not happy I had to spend another 15 bucks. Also, I came the day before and tried to get tacos and the lady gave me a chicken quesadilla. So clearly the workers are not organized or care to make sure the customers order is right. So just go with caution that you might not get what you ordered, or just open your order before leaving like you do when you go to most fast food restaurants. I wanted to give this place a better score like a 4

Used to love eating here. A few times we came to Tillamook craving Mexican and they were closed,…read moreand we were actually bummed. Having said that... Improvements could be made when it comes to customer service this time around. When a customer asks for salsa for a to-go order or left overs, the accompanying salsa for the MEXICAN food should happily be given out. NOT, "Thats going to be a 50 cent charge per salsa container," the size of my thumb. Let's be fair, eating a burrito without salsa is like eating sushi without soy sauce! If this place was more generous with their salsas, I would have been happy to give them another star because their food really isn't that bad! Granted, I ordered an adobada burrito and they made an asada one, I let that slide- and then the audacity when I asked for a Togo salsa cup for the 1/2 burrito I didn't finish and the girl tells me it's a charge. No thank you. We frequent Tillamook with friends and family who visit but will not be recommending this place anymore.

We were last here four years ago. It hasn't changed much and that's a good thing. Last time, we…read morewere unable to go into the candy store - this time, we did get to go inside and peruse the collection of candy, vintage and branded (ie. related to a TV show). Some stuffed animals as well and some hair clips and whatnot. You can also purchase food in there to feed the animals outside (I'm sure it is not the only place to purchase food but that's where we got it this time). Inside the main building are many different kinds of high end gifts, kitchen items, wine, and food, as well as a cafe and ice cream. Outside are the animals (who tbh can really live without the food lol - they are fairly lacksadaisical about it!); and the area where Harvest Host folks park. The friendliest animals are the goats.

As the Tillamook Creamery began to fill-up with kiddos, I decided to head south to the Blue Heron…read moreFrench Cheese Company for a bite to eat. What a fabulously wonderful, relaxing restaurant / garden / petting zoo and gift-shop. The grounds are abound with potted plants and flowers. I entered what can best be described as a large, deli-gift-shop. Ordering takes place at the deli counter, a number is given, and food is delivered to your table. There is a fountain area, a coffee bar and a refrigerated cooler for drinks. The wine section is expansive and beautifully displayed. I can't speak to the quality, as I didn't partake in adult beverages. The shop is comprehensive with loads of deli-like merchandise, boutique items and souvenirs. They offer a lot of hand-crafted and locally-made fare, which is my preference. The food was outstanding! I order the cheese charcuterie with salami and my husband ordered the Blue Heron Classic. What a delight, and with plenty of left-overs. It was such a gorgeous day I visited the Candy Shop for an ice cream cone (Tillamook, of course) and walked the grounds for peacock viewing. The Blue Heron has picnic tables outside, so I sat and enjoyed the sun for a while. It was an ideal escape!
