Warming hearty and unexpected! Lovely service and delicious food. Highly recommend :)

We stopped by the garibaldi food cart pod and decided on country squire kitchen! We had the chicken melt. I thought the curry undertones were very good. The bread was very soft and I liked the zucchini inside the sandwich. I would have loved more veggies and other fillings to compliment and balance the cheese. The chips were not a favorite of mine, it may have been that they were about to expire or just a brand that's not very flavorful. I had I feel like if I paid $16 (including tip) a sandwich and a bag of chips at a restaurant I would have been disappointed and that's how I feel about this combo. Just a bit overpriced for what you are getting.

We came to have beers at De Garde Brewery in Tillamook and were happy to see a food truck right next door - you can see it in the photo taken from inside De Garde how close it is. The guy in De Garde said we could order food from the food truck and bring it inside and have with our beers! WIN WIN! We each got the double smash burger along with a pulled pork hatch chile sandwich... the pork/chile sandwich was so so good BUT I must admit their burgers are as good a burger as I have ever had anywhere. If you like to try different types of sandwiches they have lots of options and the pork hatch chile sandwich is an amazing choice. But if you are into burgers and want to have a burger perfectly cooked with fresh ingredients that melts in your mouth get the burger! Or get one of each like I did!

Country squire is simply the best! They use fresh locally sourced ingredients that make each dish pop with color and flavor. Their friendly service makes your short wait for the tasty food fun:) they are able to accommodate to allergies and will turn anything into a rice bowl! Take it to go, or sit in the de Garde tasting room and pair it with a sour beer! This is a place that has something for anyone and will leave you feeling satisfied, full, and happy!

Amazing special! Udon pork belly stir-fry. Definitely check this place out!

Blue Heron French Cheese Company was a bit of an impromptu and unexpected stop for us. We wanted to…read moredo something in the area that wasn't the Tillamook cheese factory and Yelp directed us here. I'm so glad it did. They have a shop with cheese, wine, ice cream, snack options and lots of other items. There is also an area outside where you can sit and enjoy your food. They have animals on the property and we purchased some feed for them inside the shop. It's only $1 a bag so we bought lots and headed out to meet them. I loved spending time with the animals but they were not at all interested in the feed. We happened to be eating a sandwich and they were much more interested in that. They have a wide range of animals, from sheep to alpacas and donkeys and ducks and chickens and even peacocks. There's lots to see. That said, I can't really give them five stars because like a lot of the reviews mention, the state of some of the animals is concerning. As much as I enjoyed interacting with them, there were things about their care and surroundings that made me feel really sad. Something I did really appreciate though is that this location allows you to camp overnight in your RV or van for free. This is a huge perk when you're traveling through the area. Because we got here late in the afternoon. We did end up staying the night, but if you decide to take advantage of that be prepared for the bugs. There were so many bugs. There is plenty to see and do here and this place definitely has a lot going for it. If you're road tripping this is a good place to stop. You can get supplies, spend some time with the animals and have a safe place to spend the night.

The best panini I've had for a while. They have quality packaged food as well. Charcuterie in one stop. One building was dedicated to candy. Overpriced for sure. While we didn't visit the petting zoo, it was doing a good business. It was worth our time.

The positive - the free self-guided tour was interesting and we enjoyed it. The souvenir shop had…read morea lot of interesting things. And of course the ice cream is delicious. The people at the information booth were friendly and personable. And now for what needs improvement! Customer service at the cafe was not friendly. And on two separate days we were there and still couldn't figure out how things work. They give you a buzzer but then you also see people delivering food to tables. The first day, our buzzer went off several times but nobody brought us anything. I finally approached the person who was delivering food and he said we needed to go up to the register to get our order. What? Back to the registers where there is a huge line? If that's the case, have a designated pick up area. And why do some orders get delivered and others don't? Make it make sense. And be clear about it when hand the buzzer to guests. The second time we stopped in, we ordered a breakfast sandwich and a coffee for my husband. The girl at the register asked if we wanted anything else and as I was looking for other drink options, she finalized our order, said the total and walked away. I found that rather rude. Guess I didn't get a drink. Later we saw her just standing at the register with her arms crossed. If she's that miserable less than an hour after opening, perhaps a customer facing job isn't for her. The patio door in the cafe also needs to be fixed so it's not banging every single time someone goes thru it. I would suggest anyone visiting enjoy the self-guided tour, maybe grab some ice cream, but go get food elsewhere. Oh, and as to how the food was - it was just ok. Nothing outstanding and overpriced IMO.

Ice cream is my favorite food - I would be in trouble if I lived close to here!…read more I went with a group of 11 people, 4 adults, 7 kids. We all really enjoyed ourselves. We liked watching the process of making and packaging the cheese ( there really should be some kind of line -start at station 1 and then move along - I know it's designed to do this but there were people just jumping back and forth which because frustrating) The ice cream is delicious - I had to get a flight - my eyes were bigger than my stomach but it was worth it! I do wish the ice cream shop was open later or they had a separate one in town - we stayed in Tillamook for two nights and would have gotten ice cream after dinner every night if it was open!
