Calamari with sweet and sour sauce dip
    Nyla K.

We stopped in for some drinks and a bite before heading to the Sounders game. We got seated pretty quickly towards the back near the booths. The service was a bit on the slow side but I suppose that's fair since there was a game. But there were plenty of empty tables around. 1/5 Calamari - arrived cold 1/5 Fries - arrived cold 4/5 Clam chowder - pretty good 4/5 Artichoke dip - served in a bread bowl with tortilla chips and tasted nice As we were finishing up we asked for the bill and one more beer and the wait was so long that I decided to go up and tell the waitress to cancel the beer. The waitress finally came back and we paid the bill but asked for the itemized receipt to confirm the beer was taken off. It was not, and the waitress knew it wasn't because she quickly left the table and never came back. Sure it was only a $6 beer but it really seemed like she did this on purpose. I would not recommend going again.

I was there last year and I think I forgot to leave a review, but Theresa was so amazing and personable that it popped into my head and I'll do it now. The food was great, but the service and personability of the staff was just phenomenal, and special shout out to Theresa. I wonder if you went back to Palm Springs. Anyway my date and I had a lovely time.

King crab and shrimp boil - while it photographed well, it was a huge disappointment with the lack of flavor and dry rubbery texture.

Absolute disappointment in the lackluster quality of food. We had a King crab and shrimp boil, which was dry and rubbery. Shrimp filled avocado- had tiny little frozen flavorless shrimp. So disappointing. Waited for salt and pepper which we never received, but at least it photographed well. We will not bother giving a second try. We should have known by the lack of line while other restaurants had over hour and a half wait. Not worth the money.

    The Mafia Queen Royal Boil

What we ordered: The Queen's Mafia Royal Boil Spinach Artichoke Dip Cajun Fries Raw Oysters First off, the food was good. Service was below average. We had to stop a waiter to get his attention, assuming he was our waiter..we were ready to order after waiting for 15 mins and it even took awhile to get waters to our table. All in all, we were tourists just passing thru.

Great atmosphere since there's hardly no one here! Ordered an old fashioned with Four Roses bourbon. Not quite sure what all is in this! Ended up getting an additional shot of Four Roses and adding it to the glass. Much better. Ordered the lobster rolls with Cajun fries. Fries are great. The ratio of lobster salad to bun is about 1:4 which is unfortunate for the price. Overall, okay. Has the potential to be great.

    Delicious!

Nice find, friendly staff yummy seafood we enjoyed all of it! My husband and I enjoyed the variety of seafood on the Mafia platter.

Unfortunately, I only stopped in for a cup of the chowder and was I lucky to stumble upon Sea Crab House. Michael was excellent, the chowder was excellent and the atmosphere was pleasant. Michael took our order and provided very efficient service. I would have loved to try one of their seafood boils.

    Crab boil for two!

There weren't that many reviews for this business so we went hoping for the best, and gladly we were not disappointed! The service was prompt and friendly. Our server (Kenny) was thoughtful in his recommendations and suggestions. We shared a crab boil (with Dungeness crab, shrimp, corn, and potatoes) with their signature SEA sauce. The boil was delicious! Only reason I didn't give five stars is that a few menu items weren't available and the cocktail was a little on the sweet side. Overall this was a good experience and we'd definitely come back!

Whole Maine lobster and king crab

I'm here for my birthday dinner tonight! Everything was amazing! Michael the bartender took care of us and gave us a great menu tour and origin of the restaurant story and concept. We ordered the boil with king crab and lobster. Just wow the lobster was huge and delicious especially given being in Pacific Northwest. Ambiance/atmosphere is amazing. P.s service from Michael and his coworker with Hawaiian shirt were great! FYI I do work in restaurant industry and I'm very impressed with everything here especially given they just opened for soft opening.

Lobster, Shrimp, Muscles! Sauce on the left: the Cream Cajun & Right: The Sea Spicy..

Food was just amazing! Try this: Order different dipping sauces on the side and mix it up. Service was great! The server was there when needed and was very helpful. His name was Smooth River. Ambiance is perfect for such a meal. I am taking the fam there next.

So when I woke up still craving shellfish, RockCreek was the call. It was the right one. A dozen oysters to start: Kumamoto and Shigoku. Clean -- no grit, no sand. Whatever they're doing back there, it's working. The brine was full and present in every shell, and the mignonette hit that rare sweet spot of light but actually seasoned. The Winter Old Fashioned? Get it. It was so delicious. Then came the crab Benedict. The side salad alone was worth writing home about -- big, buttery, peppery leaves draped in one of those feather-light vinaigrettes that sounds simple until you try to replicate it at home and realize you can't. But the real star of the entire plate was the potatoes. Crispy outside, genuinely fluffy inside, seasoned with conviction. A masterpiece is not too strong a word. Closed with a glass of pink wine. Was eyeing the bottle with the piglet on the label, but it was bottle-only -- a distinction I find increasingly arbitrary as a former server and bartender. One day that policy will be a relic. Not yet, apparently. Best brunch I've had in Seattle in two years. Highly recommend.

It wasn't too hard to get a weekday reservation for 4 and it's located right on the waterfront of Pike's Place, but it was pretty easy to find street parking nearby. Overall, the food was a little inconsistent in quality across the board, but the vibes are excellent for a nicer night out. Oysters (4/5): Super fresh and they have a rotating set of local options. We went with the waiter's recommendation, which were super sweet and a bit salty. One of my friend's had never had oysters before and they were pleasantly surprised by the way it wasn't too fishy! Clam Chowder (4.25/5): Clam chowder was actually probably one of the best bites of the night. Super creamy and luxurious with a good amount of clams. Shrimp Cocktail (2.5/5): Unfortunately, the shrimp were overcooked and too chewy. A real shame because the shrimp are huge! Surf N Turf (2.75/5): Mixed feelings on this one. The scallops were really small, but delicious, fresh, and sweet. The beef cut was some sort of awful hangar steak that didn't feel fresh. A bit small for a main and roasted potatoes were just okay. Lobster Roll (4/5): The bread was warm and nicely toasted with butter. I wish there was a bit more lobster to improve the ratio, but the quality of the lobster was nice! Atlantic Beach Pie (4/5): Very very tart, but I loved it especially with the fresh whipped cream. The saltine crust brought a good amount of salt as well.

Our incredible server Trey soon came over and helped us decide on some drinks, as we were debating between a few. The menu has so many options, it was hard to just choose one! We soon put our appetizer orders in, as well as our entrees. The calamari tasted fresh and crispy, what's not to like? The oysters I was recommended, tasted sooo fresh! The smoked salmon deviled egg was something I've never thought would work, but it tasted amazing. You can never go wrong with fish and chips, which tasted great! Our server was so sweet and was very attentive throughout the whole night. Dessert time came around and Trey recommended this Washington berry pie, we were sold! It came out deliciously warm with some ice cream on top, which was the cherry on top for our night!! Can't say enough great things about this restaurant, great staff, solid menu, we will definitely be back!!

Have to admit at being disappointed in my latest experience at Dukes…read more It was about three weeks ago, the last Sunday in May. Went with my husband and met some family for lunch. We got there first, as the rest of the family went to the wrong location. So my husband and I were just there drinking water and waiting for them for a while. -I asked our waiter to please. "keep the water coming". Anyway, everyone finally arrived and we got things ordered. The food arrived in a timely way. Unfortunately, I have to report that their prices have gone quite high. I know most restaurants have had to raise their prices, but considering the food, both my husband, and myself felt that their prices were prohibitive, and with that in mind, we probably will not be back for quite a while. My hubbs had their lobster mac & cheese, which he gave a 7 out of 10. I had their lobster roll, which frankly, I could only give a 5 out of 10. It wasn't very flavorful, and definitely needed the dipping sauces that were served with it. Rather awkwardly put together as well, which made it kind of messy. Just kind of hard to eat. I did really enjoy their sweet potato fries though. Everyone else had various seafood dishes, which looked good, and one had a burger, which looked absolutely delicious. (I was kind of jealous once I saw it.) The service was good to begin with, but we had to flag down the waiter for water more than once. And towards the end of the meal, I was having some of that dipping sauce with the last of my sandwich; it was on the spicy side and I was out of water. Tried several times to get the waiter's attention, but it didn't work, and I had to literally yell at him to bring me some water. It was a little embarrassing, but I really needed it, & I was getting kind of mad! I mean, after all, I had made a point early on of asking him to refill the water. So that really kind of pissed me off. Because neither myself nor my husband had ordered any other beverage, & we really needed that water something fierce!! So obviously, I have mixed feelings on Dukes at this point. If money is no object, I'd say sure, go here and enjoy something tasty. But make sure you order some beverages so you don't have to count on the waiters for water!!!
