My G-kids (& son)invited to lunch at one of their favorite restaurants. They talk about it a lot. We had their favorite combo dishes, shrimp & broccoli with Fried Rice, and sweet and sour chicken with beef chow mein along with an order of salt and pepper shrimp, and corn on the cob. Restaurant is well maintained, and plenty of parking outside the restaurant. Food & Service was good.

Parking is plenty and easy to find. The interior is spacious making it good for large groups. Noise level is quiet. Combo #4 (4/5): so yummy. Flavor was good. Portion size was humongous. Good to share amongst 3 people I'd say. There were some clams that weren't open though. However eating was quite fun. They give you mini shears making it easy to cut the shell fish. Gloves are also provided to keep your hands clean. Overall, Crab Season is a great seafood boil restaurant. Service is quick and food is delicious.

Great service and very nice staff! I don't think I've gone to a bad crab boil restaurant, thanks to Yelp reviews They offer a great selection of different foods which is great for our somewhat picky 5-year old. We'd go again! The restaurant is older but very clean, the service is fast, and the staff is on top of it!

Tried the Combo 3 with garlic butter and mild spice, absolutely delicious! Everything was fresh, juicy, and full of flavor. The crab legs were easy soo good, the corn and potatoes soaked up all that buttery goodness. Prices are fair for how much food you get, and the menu has tons of options. Cozy place, friendly service, and it really hits the spot if you're craving a good seafood boil. Definitely coming back soon!

Ordered some Chinese takeout on Thanksgiving from Crab Season and was surprised by how good it was. The restaurant is known more as a Cajun seafood restaurant, but I thought the Chinese food items were great. Ordered the stir fry clams, salt & pepper pork chops and Szechuan beef, which were all delicious. However, I will say the Szechuan beef was not very spicy, as was indicated on the menu. The packaging was excellent as I was concerned about liquid leakage, particularly with the clams. Menu pricing is great and one of the most affordable for Chinese food in Bellevue. Despite the generic restaurant name, I think Crab Season is a good spot to grab some everyday Chinese takeout on the Eastside.

The food and service was amazing!! I'm surprised there weren't more people there, but it was the beginning of lunch time. The place was clean, the servers were attentive and friendly and the food was fresh and plentiful and affordable, especially for all the food we ordered! It was $35 total for 2 entrees and corn and we still had food leftover! Next time we will try the crab pot!! I definitely recommend it!!

Couldn't believe how empty it was - the food was fantastic!! We hit the jackpot haha!

My family had a delectable dinner here during our vacation - what a local gem this is!! Family owned, great service, relaxing casual vibes, and the food is delicious!! It's like a Cajun-Asian fusion spot with everything from crab rangoons to gumbo. Very interesting menu and we loved all the items we tried. We were starving when we arrived so we ordered a bunch of stuff to try and I'll give you a word of warning- their portions are very generous so we couldn't finish it all haha! We tried the Honey Walnut Shrimp, Sweet & Sour Chicken, Garlic Noodles, Garlic Green Beans, Gumbo, and of course some Crab Rangoon (called "fried crab meat cheese wonton" on their menu lol but it's the same). Everything was excellent - all the flavors you expect and very high quality. We got a "large" side of rice thinking it would be just enough for the three of us and it was massive - enough for more like 5 people I'd say lol. The only thing I didn't like as much was the honey walnut shrimp - the flavor was great but the breading was very thick - but my son loved it so it's more of a personal preference. Their menu is quite varied - they also have a lot of seafood boil options. I was really surprised how empty it was given how great the food was - but it was snowing outside and cold and kind of early in the evening for dinner so that's probably why. Their prices are reasonable and they have lots of parking available. All the staff were friendly and genuinely excited for us to try their food. It's obvious that the staff are a family and it's very sweet - felt like I was having dinner at a friend's house. They also have tons of TVs all around so you don't ever get bored or lonely. We had a great experience and will definitely be back anytime we visit the surrounding Seattle area.

Have been wanting to find a good seafood boil in Washington for a minute and I think I found my spot service is impeccable, there was a male server who handled the host stand and service. We came around 5 pm on a Thursday and it wasn't busy, I think we made it before the lunch rush as more people started coming when we were leaving. We got the combo #3 I believe and chose the fushion sauce( all 3 ) at mild, the mild had a perfect kick and still had my lips burning at the end. Definitely recommend if you want some great seafood, coming from the Bay Area, I left completely satisfied

Had this place in my list to try. For those that have been to Crab Pot, they have several seafood boil options in addition to other seafood items like fish and chips, fried softshell crab, fried oysters, etc. in addition to this, they also have Americanized Chinese food. Pretty interesting combination. The food was decent, but service was really good which pushed me to round this rating to 4 stars. As others have mentioned the gloves that are provided make it almost impossible to eat the seafood boil. I decided to just go bare handed and washed my hands afterwards. The seafood boil was more of a seafood mix with a sauce gravy. We picked the Ragin Cajun medium spice which wasn't too spicy at all. Good place to try if you're into seafood boils...plus other menu items that others guests can order if they're not seafood fans

Our first visit to Crab Season & we had high hopes based on the great reviews. Perhaps the best thing about them might be their seafood dishes, but we didn't order these. We were curious about their traditional Chinese food choices so ordered the Cashew Chicken, choosing Fried Rice as our side dish, House Special Chow Mein and Egg Rolls. They were fine, tho nothing special. The Cashew Chicken included a lot of zucchini, which was a nice surprise, but the flavor was a bit funky & I don't remember experiencing this flavor with any Chinese food we've had before. Also, we ordered these for take out and there was an oily sauce mixture in the bottom of the takeout container. Overall, not what we were hoping for, but again since they're known for their seafood - maybe this is what we should have had. Service was quick and portions were perfect for us.

Always enjoy this place! Food is good and prices are reasonable! Staples in our order are salt and pepper wings, green beans, chicken fried rice and garlic noodles. The seafood is great too! We are snow crab fans. We come here for our Chinese food cravings.

My friend loves seafood and really likes Crawfish King in International District and so she invited me to try Crab Season with her, hoping for just as good of a seafood experience. I've never had seafood boil before and so I decided to give it a try with her. Crab Season is located next to the auto dealer parking lots in Eastgate and near Lil Jon's. This place has changed hands many times over the last fifteen years; before Crab Season there used to be a Japanese restaurant and a Chinese restaurant before that. We arrived at the restaurant at 5:30pm on a weeknight and were the first ones there. The waiter seated us promptly and handed us menus. Crab Season has about 6 different combo options that graduate in price depending on the number and type of seafood items included. The combos with snow or king crab are obviously the more expensive dishes. You can also buy ala carte seafood items for market price. In addition to seafood, Crab Season serves a variety of dishes including chow mein (which really ended up being lo mein), fried rice, green beans, and some other meat dishes. My friend and I asked the waiter how many the smaller combos served and he said typically 1-2 people for combo 1 and about 2-3 people for combo 2 which has crawfish in addition to everything that combo 1 includes. After perusing the menu some more, my friend and I decided to share a SEAFOOD COMBO 1 and a SHRIMP CHOW MEIN. The combos come with a choice of flavoring: ragin cajun, lemon pepper, garlic butter (+$1) and flavor fusion which is the first three mixed together. We chose flavor fusion. In total, we paid about $35 per person. They brought out our SHRIMP CHOW MEIN within fifteen minutes after ordering. As stated before, these noodles are really lo mein noodles and not traditional crunchy chow mein noodles (think Panda Express noodles). My friend enjoyed their chewy texture and said they reminded her of Din Tai Fung noodles. I personally thought they were just okay- at least they came with a few green beans, onions, and cabbage. A little while later, we got our seafood boil COMBO 1 in a big ceramic dish in addition to a metal bucket for shells, big plastic gloves, napkins, and plastic bibs. The COMBO 1 seafood boil had a lot of clams, four oysters, four slices of sausage, two whole red potatoes, two overcooked corn on the cob quarters, and six to eight shelled shrimp with heads all coated in a thick brown sauce. The platter was huge, but also just a lot of shells. My friend and I put on our gloves, which were slippery and way too big for our hands to get an actual grasp on the serving spoon, and got to work. The seafood was passable, but really just nondescript in my opinion. It was hard to taste the seafood because the brown sauce was super salty- so salty that it made the food unpleasant. The sauce had a slight kick to it from the Ragin Cajun flavoring mixed into it, but the high salt level was unbearable and prevented me from enjoying my food. I rarely drink a lot of water with my meals, but I had to constantly gulp down water to cleanse the salt. I almost wanted to just pour my water into the food to dilute the sauce. My other complaint was that the food was served warm, but not hot. The food got cold quickly too because the ceramic bowl did not retain the heat well. I was expecting hot pot boiling temperatures, but this just wasn't it. Service was good which is why I'm giving them three stars instead of two. We requested new gloves half way through our meal and they quickly fulfilled our request. They also made sure to give us their special discount of 10% off any seafood boil without us even asking. Lastly, the waitress was prompt to get my friend a takeout container, which was really just a plastic bag that they double bagged with another plastic bag to prevent leakage during transportation. As far as the atmosphere, there was no music playing in the background and so it was awkwardly quiet until another party or two came in later. They have a sea theme going on with large ripe nets and paintings of tropical fish and other sea creatures. However, the booths were old and much of the restaurant looked outdated. Overall, I was unimpressed with Crab Season and sadly won't be coming back. My friend will be back for the shrimp chow mein, but I think both of us will be passing on the seafood. In conclusion, 2/5 for food, 4/5 for service, 2.5/5 for atmosphere

Ask the Community - Crab Season

    Are you open today?

Yes , we are open from 11 am to 9:30 pm

If I choose to just "steam", do seafoods literally comes out steamed without any seasoning? I don't like to add flavor or too much butter so prefer to have food as is.

Yes, we can do seafoods steamed and serve to the table , you still can choose one of the sauce come with it and request them on the side , that way the sauce will not mix with the seafood you choose !

Is it okay to bring my dog inside while I am there to place an order?

    Yes if it is friendly

How many people does a "combo" feed?

About 2-4 depending on how much everyone can eat. If you are coming with a big group it's better to do build your own!

Can seafood boils be made without the sausage?

They actually have a build your own seafood boil option so you can choose the contents and sauce/flavoring. It's in a separate section from the combos online. On the image of the menu it's to the left of the combos.

    Is dine in available?

    Yes it is!

The menu has the usual Viet-Cajun flare, where you want to eat seafood boil or items cooked from the kitchen. I noticed that there was the option to order headless shrimp for those of you who are squeamish about shrimp heada. I ordered a pound of head-on shrimp with added corn tossed in House Sauce at Medium Spicy. The shrimp had nice texture, the corn was sweet and the sauce was pretty decent. We were provided gloves which was very nice. The server was very attentive and refilled my drink when she saw it was getting low. Overall, we had a nice experience and thought this place was pretty solid. The signage is hidden, but you'll spot it if you walk around 106th Street, like I did, to see the lunch menu. I visited Superkim Crab House on a Sunday afternoon earlier this month. Upon walking in, there weren't a lot of diners, but at most, two tables total about 12 people within the two tables. We were greeted by Zack, who allowed us to pick where to sit. He was a very welcoming and kind server. Zack allowed us to look at the menu but provided us with some of his favorite dishes to help us narrow down what we wanted to dine on. He mentioned the clam chowder and crab croquettes as being a few of his favorite dishes, and we were very intrigued by them, so we ordered them to start with. We were not disappointed with either of the items! The crab croquette and clam chowder were so flavorful, and the crab croquette was crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. For drinks, we decided to order from the mocktails menu: Lychee Lemonade, which had a strong taste of the cucumber, was an okay drink, but if you love cucumbers, you'll like it; Prickly Mint, was more my liking, as it had more of the fruity cranberry taste; and then the Mango Spritz, which my friend wasn't a big fan of the taste. In terms of food, we were thinking about the boil, but in the end, we decided on two entree dishes: The Holy Crab and the Dungeness Crab Fried Rice. The menu clearly shows three pepper icons next to The Holy Crab, and they were not kidding about the spice! It was spicy! The spiciness gradually kicked in after consuming it, but don't get me wrong, it was still a delicious dish! The Crab Fried Rice was also very flavorful, and we used that to cool down our palettes after a spoonful of The Holy Crab. The restaurant's atmosphere was pleasant. It wasn't too loud or quiet, and ample space between the tables. The bathrooms were interesting. I believe they kept the Lot No.3 bathroom layout with the industrial look, and there were gender-neutral individual bathroom stalls. There are two levels for seating, so if you choose to, you can also sit upstairs for a more private dining experience. Within about 10 minutes of us being seated at our table, Mr. Kim, the head chef, came to visit and chatted with us for a bit. He was very kind and welcoming, ensuring we enjoyed our time at his restaurant. Overall, our experience dining at Superkim Crab House was superb! Everything was terrific in terms of service and hospitality. We interacted with the great waitstaff, including Zach and Trish, who made us feel like we were chatting with friends. The food was delicious, but the price was somewhat on the high side for the portion size. However, the quality of the food was worth it. We heard that their Happy Hour menu is a good value, so I will try it out when it is available, M - F, 3PM - 6PM. TL:DR Get the crab croquette and clam chowder for sure! The Holy Crab is a very spicy dish, so get it if you like a lot of spice! The staff is friendly and helpful! Happy Hour is M - F, 3PM - 6PM. Parking in the parking garage is free for now, while construction is being done in the area.

The macaroni salad was not the same it taste tasted weird with some extra seasoning on it like they were trying to mask something. My overall review is that something is going on with this restaurant that doesn't sit right with me. It seems janky why all of a sudden is your brick and mortar closed and now people have to only get food from you through to go & delivery. I'm very disappointed this has been a place that I have gone to for many years despite their 20% automatic service fee, I still continued to go, and I was very not pleased with what I received

The area may not be the best to be alone at night, but if you can brave the place, you can get anything you want from pho to seafood boils. We've come here a few times with family. The pho is a specialty because it comes out in a big stone bowl where you add the ingredients yourself so it is nice and piping hot, which my family enjoys. There are seafood boils and the combos usually come with a side (we usually choose sweet potato or curly fries) which is a nice touch and it is reasonably priced and decently tasty. We've tried some of the other things like escargot on the menu (they were too chewy but the salted egg yolk flavor was different) and they had a famous beef hotpot that I was honestly very disappointed in (it was very pricey for a small portion of noodles/beef/etc and did not feed as many people as it proclaimed). I would stick to the regular things on the menu here. Service can be a bit spotty again, because they are so busy.

When we first pulled up, the outside looked a bit unassuming, so we were unsure at first. Once inside, though, it was surprisingly spacious and nicely set up. It even looks like they host karaoke at night, which adds a fun vibe. The service really stood out. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. We ended up ordering from the Vietnamese side of the menu, when we originally came for seafood boil lol. They also had an street food menu. The pho was served in a hot sizzling pot, and the appetizers came out on bamboo boats, which made everything feel extra special. I ordered the braised duck with egg noodle soup, and it was rich, flavorful, and really satisfying. We also tried the Vietnamese coffee with coconut, which was delicious. Overall, everything we tried was great and the service made the experience even better. We would definitely come back. I really want to come back to try the street food menu. There is also a small parking lot on the side of the building, which is convenient.

Because the food quality is so high, I will return, but the service environment on this visit was completely ruined by an aggressive, boundary-crossing waiter and dishonest billing practices. The tension started before we even ordered. Wanting to ensure accuracy for our group of three, I put on a straight face and told the waiter directly that I was serious about getting the order right. He was visibly unhappy when asking for our drink orders. When I stated "no drinks," a friend in my party immediately joked and ordered something anyway, signaling to the waiter that my boundaries could be ignored. The waiter's inappropriate comments began the moment the order was placed, when he pointedly told me twice that I "better eat up all the food" we ordered. He then aligned with my friend's jokes throughout the meal instead of focusing on clear communication. Because of this unnecessary distraction, a $9 charge for beignets was forced onto our bill without my authorization, alongside a "living wage expense" tacked onto the final total without upfront disclosure. The lack of professional boundaries peaked after our plates were cleared. A lighthearted comment was made to the waiter about where the food was, and when he brought out a dessert we did not order, he leaned in and explicitly told us we "fucking better finish it." Using profanity with paying customers is utterly disrespectful and unacceptable. The kitchen staff and the speed of the food deserve praise. I enjoy the menu enough to come back, but front-of-house management needs to seriously address the aggressive language and financial dishonesty of their floor staff. Next time, I will ensure the ordering process is kept strictly to business.
