I would rather keep this a hidden gem in the south shore so all the idiots don't end up going there but that would be a disservice to a great chef and amazing menu. The restaurant has a great feel. The bar is neat and clean. The dinning room is warm and comforting. Then the menu...omg...they make the greatest food. I can't believe how fresh the seafood was. Will definitely be going back.

Neighborhood bistro that under different names, has been around for decades. Restaurant is split into two sections. Bar with a few high-tops and tables, and a separate area divided by sliding doors that is for reservations only. Made a reservation for myself and friends. They have a prix fix menu all week which I would like to try but we all ordered off the menu. Had the soup of the day which was New England Clam Chowder. It was hot, tasty with lots of clams albeit chewy over-cooked clams. I ordered the grouper special which was $26. The grouper was flaky and cooked well but lacked any seasoning whatsoever. I never salt my food but did in this case, also ordering lemon to enhance its' flavor. It sat atop spinach and "lobster" risotto which was just risotto as I didn't receive any lobster. Overpriced for what I received. A/c needs to be fixed as the temp went from extremely cold to extremely hot. Service was ok. Nothing spectacular. Two unisex bathrooms were clean. Will definitely dine here again as the atmosphere is pleasant and other items on the menu looked good. I have high hopes my next meal will be 4 Star.

I really want to give this place more stars but nothing really wow-ed me. To start we (me & my parents) had the Lemon & Herb Mussels and the New Orleans Style Oysters. Both were good, but I've definitely had better mussels and oysters elsewhere. For my entrée, I had the Parmesan Crusted Swordfish which was tasty, but not amazing. My mom had the Special of the Day: Sea Bass with Avocado & Black Bean/Pepper Jack Ravioli. The ravioli was the star of her dish... which is sad because it's a seafood restaurant? My dad's dish, the Pan Seared Hawaiian Sunfish was probably my favorite, but again, the best part was not the fish itself, but the mango salad that was on top of it. Dessert was straight up disappointing: Roasted Strawberry Creme Brulee tasted more like flan and was half cold and half warm, which makes me think it was frozen and then not thoroughly reheated. Decor and atmosphere are pretty and fitting for a nice seafood restaurant. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. I may or may not come back to try their prix fixe menu. Then I may or may not update my review.

Sea Levels Restaurant was our dinner recommendation while visiting Brightwaters on Long Island. The restaurant has two dinning rooms - allowing diners to enjoy two different atmospheres - a bar room and a fine dinning room - both accommodating to your personal mood and attire. I had the Swordfish with creamy basil risotto and spinach. The capers and tomato sauce completed every element on this dish. My partner had the hamburger. He said it was cooked perfectly and tasted great. Finishing our dinner, we had the warm Chocolate Cake with ice cream, and per Chef Monty's suggestion, the Kahlua Cream Brulee. The cream brulee was creamy and had a consistent crunchy caramelized topping. Having a great menu, wine and beer selection, then friendly wait staff made Sea Levels a great recommendation.

What a great find! Ladies Night is on Wednesdays which means $15 house bottles of wine. $4 off $22.95 pre fix and a sweet plate at the end of the meal. We started with the crab cakes and calamari that was a great beginning. Had the grouper special that was delicious and ended with the special creme brulee that was amazing. The bartender made me a special liquid dessert with baileys, kahlua and grand marnier. Sabrina was a great server we will definitely be back. Overall a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommend

You can always find the bartender Sean there on a Friday night and he'll make you feel like a regularly by remembering what you drink. The entire bar staff is solid, and they're quick and efficient even when they may be a person down. If you're looking for something fancy, this is definitely not the place for you, but if you're looking for a small, intimate dive bar with good food, this is it. The only downside is since the bar is small, the bathroom situation is rough. There's only one stall in the women's room, so if it's busy, be prepared to wait. And they could use a bit more variety when it comes to beer on tap.

The servers are all well versed in the menu items, including the oyster selection, which is always a plus for me. Each time I've visited I ordered a few different oysters and have never been disappointed. You really cannot go wrong with what you order. The fritto misto appetizer is outstanding, perfect for 2-4 people. Also had to try the oysters Rockefeller which are always delicious. My first visit (NYE '26) they had octopus on their specials menu. I PRAY they bring it back because it was memorable, even 6 months later. My first visit I tried the barramundi which, at the time was a special menu item. It seems they added it to the Mains but with a different preparation. This time I tried the salmon which was excellent. If seafood's not your jam, they have plenty of menu items to choose from. In addition to the food, they also have great cocktails and a stellar looking happy hour menu I can't wait to try. I recommend making reservations, especially if you're visiting on a Friday or Saturday night. Both times I went here the restaurant was packed, particularly the bar area. My only real critique is that the restaurant gets a bit loud, making it a tad difficult to hear but it's also a sign that the place is doing consistently well.

However, the seating in my opinion is on a tight spaced sidewalk where people and cars pass you by. It was crowded and our waiter was fine. The food took way too long to come out. It was like they forgot our order. It was happy hour for clams so that could have played a part. However, others had received their food before us. When the food finally came, the oysters were sad. Such small oysters for a place that's on the coast and bases it menu off the ocean. Our tuna tartar tacos were great. Best I've ever had. The flavor is towards the bottom of the taco so take a big bite to get all that flavor. IMO this is a nice place. I would not make it a go to spot for their oysters. But I would return.

The Vidalia onion soup was honestly the best onion soup I've ever had, and I'm a huge onion soup fan. The crab cake bites were among the best crab cakes I've had anywhere, which is saying a lot because I've spent years searching for great crab cakes. I also loved the maple bacon mac and cheese, which struck a perfect balance between sweet and savory. My daughter enjoyed the Georgia wings and sweet potato fries with a marshmallow dipping sauce. Everything was packed with flavor. The cocktails were equally impressive. I had the Georgia-themed Old Fashioned, while my daughter tried the Guy Fieri-inspired Georgia margarita. Both were creative, well-balanced, and memorable. As a mobility disabled person, accessibility is always important to me, and Roadtrip did very well. There is plenty of parking behind the restaurant with an accessible route to the entrance. Inside, the aisles are wide, the seating is flexible with movable chairs, and the restroom is fully accessible. The only thing keeping it from a perfect accessibility score is the lack of automatic doors. Food: 11/10 Cocktails: 10/10 Accessibility: 9/10 Roadtrip Bayshore earns my highest recommendation. The menu and food were excellent, there's truly something for everyone. We opted for the spinach and artichoke dip appetizer, and our entrees were the Brisket Horseradish Stack and the Blue Summit Burger. The service was great - the wait staff, attentive. What unfortunately has left a lasting impression and may be the reason I don't go back is they're okay, and likely encourage (based on their IG) content creators to visit. I understand in this day and age, exposure means everything. Getting a viral video could mean the definition of sink or swim in a competitive industry. What's not okay is having content creators with their bright lights blinding the patrons next to them. Having a bright camera light shone in our faces several times through our dinner soured the experience. I hope in the future the staff, and the owner (who was there), are more conscious of the dining experience for others.
