So we came here today after a really long time expecting the same great experience we usually have and it was terrible. We had brought friends to show them the great food , which is was, but the service was terrible ! The two girls seemed lost and were kind of slow at getting anything done. Cook used restroom did not wash hands and went right to the kitchen to handle food. When we informed the manager he tried to dismiss it by saying they have a separate sink in the kitchen and that's where cooks wash hands. Yet they touch door and everything else before washing hands. Was in the area and happened to come across this place, stopped in at 10:15pm and was still able to get seated for 2 when they closed at 11pm so I thought that was awesome of them to do as we were having a hard time finding places that were still open for dining around that time. Ordered some Cajun shrimp to go yesterday and the quality was incredibly different. I got pounds of shrimp and asked for all the seasoning, mild spice, and the shrimp tasted like tomato paste. After eating two shrimp, I realized that there wasn't even flavor to the entire sauce at all . I asked my guests what they thought and they said it tasted like old, expired seasoning and I agree. Came here for the first time last night around 6:20p. One big table and two small were occupied. The rest open for seating. So we decided to give it a try. We liked the flavor and the server Chelsi (hope I spell the name correct) she was very informative of what the menu had and what included and what doesn't. We got a table and we tried the Headless Shrimp 1/2 pound with Crawfish 1/2 pound mix together with the Mix All Seasonings. YUMMMMMMY. We also got the Gumbo Soup with rice (just one little thing. We like okra BUT the soup has a lot of okra. So if you don't like the okra that much don't order OR maybe they can add less. We should it ask but we didn't know) We got the bones chicken it was delicious with seasoning. Just really good food. We noticed thou that they were getting busy since people start coming and the then it was only two servers so the service start getting little to slow. Hope the owner or manager realize that for Diner time having at least one part time server to help or a busboy will be a BIG HELP for the two servers by giving refills or cleaning tables or placing phone orders or charge. ( he did us no favors) we did not feel our shrimp was good as you could see in the video. I settled to eat almost all of one bag of shrimp because my son and I were hungry (and fry's) although we left half a pound of one of our 15.99 one pound bags. We just wanted good service for being dissaponted in so many way. The cops were called cause the lady manager kept saying we weren't trying to pay, which was never the case. I simply asked multiple times for five more dollars to be taken off of my 45$ meal. Also the lady manager got loud in from of my son with me to the point I had to tell her I wouldn't talk with her until the cops arrived. The food and flavor is great here. Been here several times in the past year and had never really paid attention to their prices until my most recent visit yesterday. I ordered the usual with my family, headless shrimp, and added an order of corn, sausage, potato and bread. When I searched my bag for my ear of corn what I got was the tip of an ear of corn as pictured. It wasn't even half an ear as stated in the menu. That small piece of corn came at a cost of $1.99...ridiculous. Also, what's the difficulty in breaking down your menu to half pound orders too instead of only one pound orders? I'll be looking for another place out there to go to now. On another note, in the restroom if you're not going to have paper towels and air dryers instead, make sure you allow customers to use something other than their hands to shut off the water and open the dirty door handle. Maybe a small napkin dispenser next to the door or a foot door opening plate at the bottom of the door. I though we were concerned about covid on top of the everyday germs. read more

LEACHES ON MY CRAB LEGS!!!!! OH my gosh I am so disgusted with what I found on my crab legs. My boyfriend and I are eating outside. I noticed clusters of black little dots, so I asked him, " hey what is this on my crab legs? He replies I don't know. I have never seen that before. like I don't know oh my God I don't know either. I asked the waitress what are these on my crab legs she begins to tell me that it is seasoning. I then ask her to speak to the manager and she told me the manger isn't here. I asked for a refund and another waitress comes out and says she called the manager and she only authorized us to to refund the food. I couldn't even receive a full refund for EATING BUGS!!. I should have received a full refund, a new order,an apology, or something that felt like they cared they just served us bugs. We waited to be seated, nobody was at the stand greeting people, so waited and waited, finally the hostess/server yelled from the middle of the restaurant to ask us "how many?" Yesterday, however; was by far one of the most unpleasant experiences I've ever had in a restaurant EVER My coworker and I were there on our lunch break, and although we are limited on time we understand how long it takes to get in, order, get out all in fashionable time without being "those type of customers" because we're on break. We were served by a gal named Lexi who NEEDS TO BE FIRED and retrained in common hospitality ethics or just find a new job / career path! You dont always need to have a bright smile on your face, but being a waitress you can make a little bit more of an effort to make it seem like you either are having a good day at work or not look like a total bitch. Not only was our order taken wrong, she had the audacity to tell us what we did order and what we didn't order. Even her coworker on the floor saw what inconvenience we experienced because she took our order wrong and wanted us to eat the food we ordered for to go only, for dine in at that time. Mind you in this entire experience while we're waiting for our food (the proper dishes we wanted to dine in with) and clarifying what is to go, my friend is STILL waiting for her beverage! Arguably I understand it may have been busy for just 2 gals, she never got her beverage!! That's not all.... my friend decided to tip the waitress 0, although we dont take pleasure in doing that, we felt that with no sincere apology or accomodation/understanding/accountability it was deserved. Now this woman had the NERVE to say out loud "Wooooow?... pft" I'm sorry honey if you're depending on tips, learn some better etiquette and serve in a restaurant like Yard House or cheesecake where you can make a career, but its clear you dont possess the common practices to last in a place with standards like that. I later on call to see if I can speak with an owner. It seems that Lexi answered the phone, because I can clearly recognize her voice/attitude. She proceeds to say the owner isn't on premise, so I ask for a manager. She asks why? Why do you need to talk to one? I say its not to your concern but I need to speak to someone obviously in charge! She seems to put me on "hold" but the dumb broad either didn't press hold, or thought II wouldnt be able to hear her? She says "there's this bitch on the phone asking a bunch of questions..blah..blah..blah..." After a few words she apparently noticed I CAN HEAR EVERY WORD YOU'RE SAYING STUPID ASS! She says "oh shit!!!" And then hangs up on me. I've never felt so insulted in my whole life from a "service professional" I dont try to judge people who work at small hole in the wall joints like this, especially because my boyfriend works in fine dining/celebrity acclaimed places but as long as this woman is employed here my friend, / co workers across the street will NEVER return here. Not only she needs so be re trained, and terminated, she needs be shown some manners if you know what i mean. To leadership: I hope you see this and it serves you well. However, since moving to California, it's been difficult to find a good crawfish place that doesn't charge ridiculous prices. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the great prices! If you check in, you get one free pound of crawfish (with a 4 pound purchase). We also ordered potatoes which were marinating in the crawfish juice. YUMMM!! Flavors: -Cajun -Garlic Butter -Lemon Pepper - All in one seasoning. Seafood items: -Crawfish: $10/pound - Shrimp: $9/pound - Mussel - Oyster - Crab We tried the Garlic Butter and the All in One seasoning. Both are very flavorful, but I'll probably stick to the garlic butter next time. The service was excellent, and there was no wait at 7pm on a Sunday. Most importantly, the crawfish tasted very fresh. I came to visit my boyfriend and we decided to stop by this restaurant for lunch around 3. Similar to Boiling Crab, you can choose your seasoning and level of heat for your bag of seafood. The concept is nice, I do enjoy the atmosphere but the food was alright, I ordered shrimp, sausages, (in the "All in one special", not spicy) and oysters. The sausages were two halves tossed into the bag, nothing impressive, the shrimp was pretty basic, the oysters were pretty good; it was different because they didn't have the horseradish or other red sauce most other places offer. The seasoning was a bit oily and didn't seem to marinate the seafood in the bag very well. The restaurant is clean and the atmosphere is comfortable; our server started off being overly attentive which is fine but after our food came out, he was no where to be found; it took awhile for us to get our check. Overall, this place is ok but I definitely prefer Boiling Crab or Kickin Crab. read more
